Keg & Kitchen
I’ve had hit or miss experiences at Keg and Kitchen brunch. We had huevos rancheros and chicken and waffles. Everything was great. Thanks for a good experience
Good food and good service
The hostess was not a good listener. There wait staff was amazing. The food was very expensive for what you got.
We had an absolutely wonderful Valentine’s Day out without the kids! Joe, our waiter, Westport standup comedian part best friend. He did such a wonderful job walking us through the menu since we’ve never been there before and helping us choose out beers that would complement what we were eating. We stayed for over two hours! We never felt rushed. It was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Food was amazing. There were many choices for all tastes. Presentation was also impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back.
We made a reservation for standard seating. When we got there we were offered high top setting which one of our party specifically didn’t want. They said there was a table ready that they were going to give to another party but would give to us since we had a reservation, which I thought was kind of the point of a reservation. Once seated our waiter was right over although the plates we got looked like they had been washed with dirty water, which was a little gross. They replaced a couple. We ordered several plates to share. The mushroom flatbread was great, tuna tartar was good. The nachos came to the table cold and the spicy potatoes were so salty as to be almost inedible. In general they were heavy handed with salt in almost everything. Drinks came almost halfway through the meal which was less than ideal.
I had selected high-top seating on the OpenTable app, yet was told when I got there for my reservation that if I wanted a high top, I would need to wait in the lengthy line, regardless of my reservation. Very unorganized at the front, not sure who was actually in charge, as the two hostess' stared back and forth at each other.
At the conclusion of dinner, were told by our waiter that we would need to pay the "european way" now... which apparently means, they swipe your card on a hand-held device, table side, and then watch you as you input their tip. Very awkward, and last time I checked/went, not actually the "european way".
I have always enjoyed K&K but the last few times between the menu changes/prices, and unorganized and unaccommodating front desk, I have to say, moving forward, I will certainly be choosing a different restaurant for special occasions.
Met with friends, a bit loud but maybe just getting old? Ha! Fun time, great service at bar as well as table, food was delicious and we would definitely go back!
Got early for reservations waited 30 minutes after to get in...insulted by hostess who asked me if I could text...but had to go to podium 4 times before table was ready. Food below par..medium hamburger raw...a sporting event is quieter
Outstanding meal & service. Highly recommend!
Good food. Lots of noise and a little cramped.
Great food, beer & atmosphere (sat by fireplace) - looking forward to heading back!
Sunday brunch was delish. PGreat food, perfect ambiance, was good for kids too.
First time there. Will go back again. Food and drinks were great as well as service. Only negative is that I found it to be louder than most places. Sat at high tops near bar. Other room looked great and more quiet but overall it was great. Definitely will go back!
We've dined here multiple times and each time something else happens that makes you think they're trending in the wrong direction. Collectively the issues seem connected to who's making decisions. Tonight it started being seated and hostess not noticing that there were not enough place settings (not resolved during the entire meal). Took 10 minutes before being greeted and drink order taken. It was explained that they have a new system that was challenging for all staff (the first of many times that the new system was mentioned as the reason for challenges). Waters were then promised - never arrived through the meal. Ordered appetizers and drinks. We finished our appetizers before waitress checked on us. Then the waitress brought out our drinks. Again, the new system was blamed for slow drink service. Waitress had a section that was split between the two farthest ends of the restaurant. Poor planning and decision making. Entrees came out but again we were done our drinks and ate without beverages. We were trying to have a no stress evening. However, once the check came out, I noticed that I was charged $2 for the tonic in my gin and tonic as well as a separate fee of $10.50 for the gin... as if each ingredient was itemized. I looked for the server to ask for clarity, but after 10 minutes I approached the bartender. The bartender responded that it's the new system that charges a separate fee for each mixer. The manager came out and explained that the new system charges the separate fee but that they would remove it from the check. I explained that these little inconveniences seem to increase every time we eat there. Then it got even more weird. I handed my credit card to the server, my card was swiped table side and I was handed a tablet to enter my tip while the server stood next to me. This reminded me of a Friendly's type experience. I was told once again that paying on the tablet was part of the new system.
Place has all the potential but needs immediate help!
Second time having dinner here. The food is really outstanding, and extremely reasonably priced. We really went for dinner, not drinks, so can't judge bar/drinks aspect. It is noisy on a Saturday night, but that's to be expected in this type of setting (a bar that does good food as well). Friendly server and good service. Recommend the fish tacos!
Everything was good, just not enough options for Vegans for meals or desserts. I only mentioned this because 2 out of the 4 that was in my party were Vegan. Also, it was hard have a conversation because of how loud it was in our area. Other than that we really enjoyed our meals, beers and cocktails.
Food was great! Didn’t love sitting by the door, but much better than a communal table!
Menu had a nice variety of choices. Food was very delicious
K&K is a regular spot due to the great beer selection and interesting dining options.
I have been here a few times and loved it. The style of the place is right up my alley. Food is phenomenal!!
Love the food & service. The beef brisket is delicious
We’ve stayed away too long. Food was delicious ... great guacamole and well-cooked flatbread plus both fish and beef tacos. The tacos were so, so good and portions are large enough that we had lunch for the next day. The drinks were well-made and we are very particular about our martinis. Service was attentive without being intrusive and prices were very reasonable. We won’t wait so long to return.
We came for brunch and it was great! Not only the food, but the service and mimosas were excellent! We will certainly be back again soon!
Food was great, drinks were fantastic, our server was wonderful!
Arrived with my date. Had made a reservation. Seated and waited on quickly. Server was prompt and not over bearing. It was an overall great experience and will definitely be back again
Food was very good, service was excellent! A little on the loud side depending on where you were sitting! Would highly recommend!
Never disappointed at K&K, great food and friendly service. Solid rotating Beer list, always something new to try. Don't be afraid to bring your kids too, they are welcomed and well taken care of.
Delicous food in a comfortable atmosphere. Plenty of Libations to choose from if you're not into beer.
Overall a fun night out
We are always at the Keg & Kitchen and always bring our friends there. Will always come back
The food was really good. Loved the Brussel Sprouts salad. The service was great! We LOVED Skylar. She was very bubbly and provided great service.
We had a family brunch.
We had a very nice experience.
We have been there several times but never for the bunch
Everything we tried was delicious except Korean Beef Tacos. Perfect Brussels sprout salad, mushroom flatbread, fish and chips and baja fish tacos. Loved their not overly sweet but generous potion of pecan pie ala mode. Cozy atmosphere.ook forward to returning.
My husbands food came out 10 minutes after mine and the kids. Other then that everything else was great!
Service was absolutely amazing. We went on a weekday lunchtime and it was very quiet which was really nice.
This place is so hit or miss. Our server was pretty inattentive, dirty dishes sat and sat, we waited so long for the check and the place was not even 20% full. I wish there was more consistently with Keg and Kitchen. I’m cautious every time I come and about half the time I am reminded why.
A few vegan options, which was great, but the vegan tacos were more salad, less taco. Very loud on a Saturday night, had to yell to the person across from me. And not enough cozy seating. I’m too old for bar tables! Haha
All was good except it was way too loud. It was difficult to have a conversation and we were sitting right next to each other. Management needs to look into some way to dampen the sound in the restaurant. Enjoyed the energy but, just way too loud.
Nice menu with a couple of vegan options. Nice crowd - just a bit loud
Service was great and the food was outstanding! First time there and we had a lot of fun, would recommend to friends and hope to be back soon!
