  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Good for groups
A traditional New York Oyster House. KEE Oyster House is brought to White Plains by friends with a love of food, family, and friends. The idea was born with a desire to bring New York’s oyster history back to life with a thematic focus on the Prohibition Era.
Westchester residents, Ekrem and Elvi are staying current by introducing modern culinary trends while remaining true to history on the half shell.
They have created an atmosphere with a warm ambiance inviting you to experience its unique bar program and sophisticated spin on American regional cuisine using only the freshest ingredients.
Smoothness of service, breadth of menu, quality of food, size of portions and the enthusiasm of staff will make the job of eating an enjoyable experience. The sophisticated, yet casual vibe, creates the perfect setting for a new White Plains dining tradition.

Not so sure what all the hubbub is about Kee. We sat for close to 20 minutes without being acknowledged by a waiter. We were seated in the back room after being offered a high top and two stools in the front window of the bar area. Where we ended up sitting got very noisy and the front area was deafening loud when we left. $21 for a small pour of food not great Sancere seemed excessive. The buffalo shrimp salad appetizer was incredibly salty, it had a decent taste If not for the unbelievably salt level. The shrimp in that dish could be best be described as briny. A shared lobster roll was good but the main courses were disappointing in many respects. Three scallops and six tiny shrimp with risotto for $38 is way too much. The halibut for $45 was also way overpriced for what it was. The broth had a nice garlic taste and the half a dozen grape tomatoes that came with it were also tasty but the piece of fish was small. Once seated we felt rushed. We ordered the wine and it came out with the first two dishes. Just as we finished the starters the main dishes came out. Again, It all just felt very rushed. Tax and tip pushed the meal to $200. We are both food people and know the difference between really good food felt the meal was meh. We just didn't see the value in the meal given the size of the portions, the haphazard and at time rushed service, and the overall price. We were very disappointed in all aspects of the visit.

Fresh, delicious choices of oysters . Baked clams were a decent size and prepared with tasty, toasted crumbs. Rissoto and fish of the day were both prepared well and a very good portion . Be advised no sides came with the meals. Side dishes are separate. Service was excellent .

Stuck us in the interior room. Make sure to reserve a main room table if you’re going.

My Husband and I had the green bean, beet and goat cheese salad, which was delicious- the goat cheese melted in your mouth. We had the salmon as our entree, also delicious. The service was excellent. We will definitely be going back there.
