Kayne Prime Ratings and Reviews
phenomenal! My husband and I went to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and it was fantastic! From the food, wine, and service. We even got a few special little extras on account of our special occasion. Jennifer took fantastic care of us! she help us as first timers and provided an excellent atmosphere!
The only reason why I put 4/5 for ambiance is because it was chilly at our table.
Otherwise, THANK YOU KAYNE PRIME!! :)
Our service was good. The check was delivered but there was an error which took the service staff to notice we were sitting there for over 15 minutes for the correction. We were offered a discount on our cork fee due to the wait. The FOOD IS SALTY!! Everything has salt even the popovers. Using their talents in the kitchen to use other spices besides layers of salt would help the dishes I consumed. The food is good. Steak cooked perfectly. I would like to come back but not on a special occasion due to the noise level. This is not a romantic location. I do want to come back and try some other sides because they looked amazing coming out of the kitchen.
Great food. Brussels sprouts were especially on point. Love the “dark cider the moon” cocktail and fillet was cooked so so perfect. Pumpkin cheesecake was only okay-ish. Hostess was awesome and put our backpack behind the curtain for an hour so we could go to a local bar. Service beyond expectation is so hard to come by!
I have dined at Kayne Prime on numerous occasions and this was my first experience to sit in the extended area at the back of the restaurant. This was just not the same experience for my group. Service was not as attentive and waiters seemed to pass us by more than once. Overall, this has and will still be my favorite restaurant in town. I'll just ask to sit in the front dining room now.
Traveled to Nashville to celebrate the New Year with friends. Also celebrating an anniversary and birthday -- so really wanted a nice dinner. Our waiter and the team couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating. Split the kale salad and ordered the Progression -- 3 oz each of Prime Strip, US Wagyu and Australian Wagyu. Great choice! Shared the banana bread dessert -- YUM. Oh! And How could I forget to mention the popovers!!!!
Fantastic place to go! From the hostess to the servers and wait staff. Attention to detail, thanking us for coming knowing it’s our first time there and going through the menu with us.
And the food....phenomenal, bacon with maple cotton candy. Steak...... I could go on.
A don’t miss when you go to Nashville. Will go back every time we are there.
One of my top 5 restaurants in Nashville and top 3 steakhouse I've ever been too. This place always takes the experience to another level and the food matches. There usually is a wait so I would recommend getting a reservation or doing the bar. The cocktails are perfect, never too much. The steaks are out of this world; from the wagyu to the standard NY strip all of them are the best quality possible. For dessert get the banana bread in the cast iron skillet. It's not too sweet and settles the impeccably.
If you're a steak person and looking for a place to eat in Nashville. Go here!!
We went to Kayne Prime for our 10-yr Wedding Anniversary and my wife’s birthday! The staff at Kayne Prime were amazing, incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and just very attentive to detail! We will go back for sure!!! Did I forget to mention...the FOOD!!! Oh my. It was a Wagyu festival! I did the “Wagyu Progression.” A M A Z I N G. My wife had the Wagyu filet (melts in your mouth). The roasted root vegetables and garlic potatoes were out of this world! Our starters were: cheese plate that was delicious and maple bacon. Ask about “off the menu” items as well. Lots of cool things (even an awesome whisky selection)!! Get there now. You won’t regret it!!
Best dining experience ever. To me this beats Ruth Chris. The food was excellent as well as the customer service. I live almost 2 hours away and I will make the drive more than just for special occasions. All of the service staff knows who you are and why you are there. Great Experience!!!!
Make sure you try the Wagyu steak and bacon cotton candy appetizer.
We started at the bar and the bartenders preferred to chat about their personal lives than serve drinks. We had the cotton candy bacon and that was excellent! From there, the experience went downhill. We were seated in the worst galley hallway section of the dining room even though the actual main dining room was never full. The people at the table behind us were terrible (not the restaurants fault) but certainly affected our experience. The food was mediocre at best. I live in Denver, CO and I can’t think of a single steakhouse in Denver that is worse than this one. Especially at the price point.
