The fillet mignon was best I ever had. The service was excellent but had to wait over 1/2 hr from reservation time of 8:15. The wait was well worth it!

I rarely leave reviews, but felt so inclined after my experience. Nashville is one of my favorite cities to visit, so as a Christmas gift my sister and I brought my parents for a long weekend. We had heard so many great things about this restaurant we made 9:45PM reservations on a Saturday night. We arrived on time, were told that our table was just getting cleared and we would be seated soon. We then listened to the wait staff gossip for 20 minutes. I finally asked again if we would have a table soon (at this hour the restaurant was visibly empty, tables everywhere) The hostess laughed and told me they can't find forks for us. I'm not sure why we weren't seated anyways so we could have ordered drinks, but no the less. We were seated closer to 10:30, we were brought waters and then NOTHING. Many waiters walked by and looked at us, but no one said a word. Finally the gentleman who brought the waters came back and was appalled that we hadn't been served. He said every server he asked said it wasn't their table to cover.
Finally a server came over and took our order. The meals were ok, but that at that point we were all so frustrated it was a ruined experience. I love Nashville but will never come back to this restaurant again.

This was my 7th time. My son’s first. Everything was great. He felt a little apprehensive at first but the servers set that to rest.

Service was great, wonderful wine selection and great food variety , however the reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 was because all of our steaks came to the table luke warm at best.

This place is amazing. I have been 2 times and it did not disappoint. Everything we ate was incredible. We shared lots of sides, desserts and steaks. A must when you visit Nashville.

Food and service were absolutely amazing. We started the meal with the cotton candy bacon as an appetizer, which I highly recommend. Both my steak and my boyfriend’s were cooked to perfection, and the sides(creamed corn brûlée and brussel sprouts) were delicious. Definitely plan on going back!

I was a bit disappointed in the meal. The service started off well but then it felt as if they forgot about us. We had to ask twice for bread and when the entrees arrived the server placed the wrong food in front of most people. Some of the food was excellent, but my steak was cold and another steak was cooked to the wrong temperature. When booking a fine dining restaurant you expect better. I would not return.

Waiter did not make us feel like special occasion. Wine was served warm and martini arrived also Warm. Most side items are loaded with cheese. Restaurant was quite warm. We dine out a lot and it doesn’t feel fresh or current. Like an old steakhouse your parents took you to. My husband liked kale item. There are better restaurants in Nashville. Needs updating.

The steak was not great. I had the rib eye that was charred too much.
The broccoli was so "char flavored" it tasted burnt.
The mushrooms were good.
And then the alarm went off until the firetrucks came.
We received no discount.
Just not worth it.
Have been to actual 5 star restaurants that were worth the five stars.
This is may be a two/ three.
Very disappointing!

Never disappoints. This is our favorite restaurant in Nashville. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate fine dining experience. Also, the chef doesn't try too hard (like he's compensating for something else!) - unlike so many restaurants in Nashville. Kayne Prime focuses on consistently delivering high quality food and service.

Amazing service... very attentive and knowledgeable both in the bar and in the dining room. Food high quality and cooked well, worth going there just for that... but the service really sets it apart from most other restaurants.

This was our first trip to Kayne Prime and I am hoping they were just having an off night. We have several friends that have raved at how good this place is but that was not our experience. We had 3 servers but I still took 45 minutes before our food order was taken (30 minutes for water). We both ordered the Wagyu Strip cooked medium and they came out rare.. my wife sent hers back but I settled with mine. Overall the steaks were bland to taste which is not what I would expect out of a $65 steak. The Housemade Cotton candy bacon was amazing, the Cream corn Brulee was good, Au Gratin potatoes were mediocre. They did accommodate by not charging for our appetizer and giving us cookies and milk for desert free of charge. However, overall not what I would expect for a $300 meal (after discount).

Friendly knowledgeable staff but had to ask for popovers. I received my steak without the 4 sauces I ordered so had to wait to begin eating it. The 6 oz Kobe steak was a beautiful piece of meat and prepared medium well as I requested but I think I prefer the taste of chargrilled instead of the French way they prepare the Kobe, it was not very flavorful without the sauces. I liked the Bernaise and Worcester, the barbecue was too strong and the horseradish not strong enough. I didn’t really like the corn brûlée, the crust was too hard and thick to eat and the corn wasn’t special. The bacon cotton candy appetizer was mostly fat and I didn’t eat it.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time but I was very disappointed. The food was not great. The bacon appetizer turned out to be four small pieces of pulled pork with cotton candy which felt more like a gimmick than anything else. It did not add to the flavor. The steak was pretty tasteless despite us choosing the more expensive wyagu option. The waiters were not very accommodating and reluctantly brought our food back to the kitchen when we said we were not ready for it. I also felt as though they were trying to prove that they knew more than me about the wine. I like the waiter to be a source of advice and not of contest. So I did not enjoy the experience and would not go back. It may have been the reference at one time for good steak but Nashville has changed and there are better steakhouse options in Nashville now.
