    This was a disappointing experience. We have done the vegetarian tasting menu many times before and loved not just the food, but the explanation of ingredients and cultures from which the dishes derive. On this night, however, the restaurant was so crowded, and the kitchen seemed completely overwhelmed. It took an hour just for us to get one course, and there was no explanation or apology from our server. When we asked about ingredients, he was completely uninformed. And the food itself was mostly fried and bland. At the end of the evening when our server asked how everything was, we mentioned some of the shortcomings and again there was no apology nor explanation. Certainly not worth $45 a person and two and a half hours of time.

    We had a great time at Kaya. There was a slight mixup with our dinner order, and one order was delayed slightly. They comped the mail due to the mistake. The food was outstanding as always, our server was gracious and very responsive, and the environment was a little noisy, but we were still able to have conversations while enjoying the meal.

    Really unique experience. Service was awesome from start to finish. Food was generally good but the guacamole seemed to need some more love. Sweet potato fries were crisp and good.

    The gazpacho was great and we always love the grilled mahi mahi tacos. And our server Ari was excellent.

    Excellent food…amazing fish tacos! We sat outside and it was pretty hot…so a bit uncomfortable. But that’s no one’s fault… just hot in the summer!

    Service was great. There was a nice vibe even for a Monday. The only disappointment was my Jerk chicken. It was dry and I could have used a steak knife to cut through it.
