   Katz is a great place especially for a special occasion or just dinning out. The staff does an amazing job. The steaks, seafood, pasta, etc., all taste great. We have never had a just fair or bad meal there. It might seem pricey but it's worth ever dollar.

   This was a buffet style meal. The meats were cold, dry, and tough. The rest of the buffet items were either lukewarm or cold. Some of the selections were completely empty. Service took longer than customary. Not once was my wife or myself asked if we would like a refill on our drinks. The second drink, that was ordered and paid for, was half the amount of the first drink.

   I didn’t Like that it was a buffet. I didn’t like that they included a tip of $21.00. The meal itself was $55’per person. I’m to blame For accepting the fact of the buffet, but to charge me such an large amount for a tip, that displeased me.

   Very disappointing. We made reservations for Mother's Day Brunch. We were seated at a round folding table in the dark banquet hall with people in line. It did not have a beautiful ambience at all. The meats were cold and very tough. The cost did not fit the experience. So sorry.

   Took 2 hours 45 minutes to get cold food and dried out steak for a 630 reservation. Filet Mignon had not one ounce of juice and was supposed to be medium but instead was well done.They even went to reheat our food and it still was cold. Several people that came in after us were served first. Bar drinks were served incomplete with out proper garnish. Waiter kept apologizing for the delay on the food. I spoke with the manager and he said ill check and he never even came back to the table to see how things were. When i went to the ladies room i over heard to employees complaining about the kitchen being a mess. The Katz of old days was always great. I don't know what has happened but definitely poor management on the floor and in the kitchen. Dinner should not take 3 hours ever! I felt sorry for the host and waiter they were having to run interference for the managements short cummings.

   We had the very best waitress last night named Danny. We had not been to Katz for a long time due to a less than wonderful experience our last visit. Danny changed alll that for us and we can’t wait to go back. It was wonderful!

    Considering this restaurant’s pedigree, we were expecting a better experience. The salmon was wildly overdone, the pork loin almost so. The lamb was quite good. The New York strip, despite claims to USDA Prime on the menu, clearly was not. Despite rare/medium rare doneness (it was, perhaps slightly more rare than not) the steak exhibited an uncharacteristic fibrous toughness. Service was spotty by three different staff (Will, John, and Kimberly). John was our actual waiter. We had to ask for bread and butter, and waits between water refills were notable considering the light crowd.

    I cannot say a single bad thing about Katz! Our food was absolutely amazing (my husband keeps saying it’s the best ribeye he’s ever had) and the cocktails we tried were delicious. Our server, Andy, was so kind, helpful, & attentive. Our food came very quickly, & portions were generous! We also both loved our dessert. Our experience here was definitely memorable, & we will be back someday!

    Went at 9:30pm. Experience felt rushed. Wine tasted old. Bread was cold. Went next door for drinks after at the bar. Ordered a drink that had a mosquito in it. Bartender seemed as if we should deal with it and was rude the rest of the time. For the $350 spent that night, not rushing to go back.

    Ate here last night for wife’s birthday. Outstanding service. One of the best restaurant meals we’ve had in a long time. Food was amazing…steak was cooked perfect and the crab cake was amazing. Remarkable spirits selection. Great atmosphere. The bananas foster is the very best restaurant dessert we’ve ever had.

    Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Easily the best restaurant in Corpus Christi. Our waitress Dani was extremely attentive and was on top of everything. It was an amazing experience.

    Most of our servers was out of sync, and the food was marginal at best. Caesar salad had to be sent back steaks were OK cream spinach was not edible and then no plain cheesecake on the menu, just not gonna go back.

    Started with Kai being amazing and allowing me to place gifts hidden before my reservation so my wife would not be aware. Grace did absolutely amazing at helping us with our whole experience and I couldn’t be more please with how the evening turned out because of them two. Food was amazing as always and 10/10 best dining experience we’ve ever had.

    If you're looking for a quiet, romantic evening and do not mind spending money, Katz 21 is well worth it. The food was amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable about the entire menu. We never once had to ask for anything and our waiter ,Andy, was very attentive to our table. The alcohol selection was tremendous. While you could hear the club next door, the only reason you noticed it at all was because it was so quiet in the dining room. The music was very pleasant otherwise, so it was not a bother. We went on a Thursday at 7:00pm so hardly anyone was eating at this time, so if you like a quiet dinner where you can feel like the only ones in the room, I'd recommend making a reservation during the week.

    We went for our anniversary. The food is a little overpriced for what we expected. The bar next door was so damn loud that all you could hear was thumping if they would just close the doors at the entrance it would have made the evening more romantic. Our server was nice but was constantly gone and our food took quiet some time. I expected a little more detail in the plated food but they looked very plain nothing to be excited about. The menu needs to be updated as well. A plus was the moscato and the price of the glass but Landry’s has this place beat by a long shot with food but the atmosphere and look was definitely five star.

    We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Our server Dani was fabulous, attentive, and gracious. Our only negative was the mixed drinks we ordered were weak/watered down. Evidently, people don’t come there for the bar.

    We had a wonderful meal. We absolutely love the calamari. The best I ever had, and last night, my wife had some as her main dish. The service was great. Katz 21 is one of the best restaurants in town, in my opinion.
