Fantastic food. Portions on the small side. Crispy rice with spicy tuna was divine as well as the short ribs. Drinks also not too be missed. Went with small kids and we all ate great.

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. You must ask to sit outside and try and get a table with the view of the pool. We loved the king crab, cucumber and seaweed salad and the sushi was delicious!

The food was amazing! We ordered spicy tuna on rice cake, cod with miso sauce and the flaming mandarin martini. Loved the servers who were attentive and very pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Food was good, menu was interesting, service was slow and inattentive. We were seated in area right by sushi bar and it felt very casual, especially for the price points. Apparently, we found out later that there was lots of seating and different settings in another area.

The food is good however they recently updated their menu and it is more limited. The service was also very slow. Additionally their prices were higher than other Katsuya locations I have been to.

The food was absolutely amazing! The service was friendly and quick, and it was very enjoyable. The ambience was amazing, and it wasn't too loud at all. Would go here everyday if I could.

The food was mediocre for the price. I’ve had much better sushi At many other restaurants. The selections are limited and prices are high for what you get. The service was awful. I made a reservation for lunch just to be safe. As I approached the hostess stand one person was on the phone with a customer while the other played on her cell phone. I was treated like I was annoying them. The girl that seated me didn’t even say hello, let alone how’s your trip. I guess I expected just a friendly greeting. The out door seating is welcoming and comfortable. I was greeted by my server and that was the only thing he did quickly. After my food was delivered by a good runner, I was never asked how everything was, could I use a refill on my drink or would I like anything else. I waited 10 minutes once I did ask for a refill another 10 to find him to request my check. The sushi was lower end and didn’t offer anything special. They aren’t accommodating or approachable at all. I had hoped for a better experience given the hotel and the price I was paying to eat there. Disappointing.

The sushi was above ordinary and delicious. The cucumber and seaweed salad was fresh and crunchy. We really liked the grilled eggplant and zucchini, very flavorful. All of the food was great, only downfall; it was double the prices of The States. Total dinner for 2 with 7 items ordered was 132.00 including tip/tax and fees.

Very expensive. With Nobu prices you'd expect the same in portion size, the rolls were tiny with no imagination and the pieces were just as small.. if they had them. We left empty in our belly and our wallet. Service was good.

The food was good. Better than average sushi. The rock shrimp app was good too. The food came out very very quick. I mean within 10 minutes of ordering so make sure to not order all at once or your dinner will be over in 25 minutes. The service was just ok and of course it was very expensive but all Bahamar restaurants are. Overall had a decent experience despite many sub par reviews here.

Poor service. Overpriced food for extremely small portions. The kids wanted to go to Starbucks afterwards for more food. Had to ask for our drinks several times, each of our food orders came out at all different times. Had to ask for our appetizer after the meals were served. When the check came, we were charged for several items we never even ordered.

This is a must visit at the Baha Mar if you enjoy Japanese food. The sushi was excellent, and they had something for all of us - even non-sushi lovers. Service was fantastic and the reservation was on-time.

Our experience here was fantastic! Service was prompt, very polite, great recommendations and knowledge of menu! They have an extensive sake list, which we loved!! Food was beautifully presented and equally delicious!!! A must if you come to Baha Mar!!

The food was great and this was the best service so far at the Baha Mar. Rashard and Monte were our servers and they were great!! The sushi was outstanding

Place was nice but all the food came out at once hot and cold - 7 dishes within five minutes. Drinks took fifteen minutes. For a pricey place seems like they try to turn the tables in 45 min.

Waiter ignored us totally. Table next to us who sat down half hour after us - and was ignored too by their different waiter - still got their food much faster than we did. Kitchen list our food ticket but no one checked on us until we flagged down our waiter. The manager was not very accommodating either when told

Terrible experience with this restaurant. It doesn't take credit cards and wants to force you to pay case. Stay away!

The music was lively and fun. Our server was great. The food was good. The specialty rolls were flavorful but the presentation wasn’t especially impressive. The wasabi was a bit crumbly, which was strange. We enjoyed the meal overall, though.

We ate here while on vacation at Baha Mar with our 10 year old daughter (she likes sushi). They have a kids menu as well. All of the food was excellent, the sushi was very fresh and well prepared. Service was okay. I guess only the main server can order drinks. So when we were ready for more drinks, we asked the person who delivered our food, but had to wait to place the the order with our server. A minor annoyance to an otherwise great dining experience. We would definitely go back.

Had a reservation they were overbooked , tense, curt and rushed. Ordered the tasting menu they brought 5 dishes at once no room on table. Tried to clear dishes that still had food. Food was very good but the bad experience overshadowed it.

Made reservations for 7:30pm, ordered right away. Dinner didn’t come until after 8:45pm, manager apologized. One guest in our party ended up cancelling her order.

Very disappointing
Terrible service. Mediocre food.
Worst restaurant at BahaMar we experienced.
2 groups of our friends also had terrible service & they over charged them! Watch your bill.

Table for 5. Two were served main coarse.Five min later one was served. Than 20 minutes from the first serving the last two main coarse were served.
