Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria - Rock Hill
What a great place!! The food is really really good. Always fresh interesting salads like yellow beets. Pizzas are reliably good and pastas are outstanding.
The black squid ink pasta with scallops and mussels was a standout.
We split the artichoke salad and pasta w wild boar ragu. Delicious. Lucky to sit outside- inside is VERY noisy.
I came here to celebrate a graduation with my family. The food was amazing, their pastas and pizzas are both excellent. Our waitress was friendly and frequently checked in with us. Overall, I’d definitely come here again and it’d definitely be perfect for a much more casual occasion as well.
As always, Katie's food was superb, and the watermelon-prosecco cocktail was just the thing for a hot day. However, we were upset at being told that having a reservation, in which we had asked specifically for an outdoor table, did not in fact give us a reservation outdoors. We were told that patio seating was walk-in, first come first served, only. I had seen no mention of this on the website or reservation form. The wait was uncomfortably long for old people, and we did not want to sit inside because of the noise. Had we known, we would have arranged a different time or place.
Katie's Pizza & Pasta is always a great choice for quality food and a warm welcoming environment.
Great food!! Service was quick!!
Always amazing. Every time I travel to St. Louis I always make a point to go to Katie's.
The food at Katie’s is always tasty, but the new pick 2 weekday lunch menu is too limited. They eliminated all the sandwiches and most of the items that had meat or fish. I think there’s one pizza that has some chicken on it but that is it. The outdoor seating area is nice but needs more shaded seating. I will go back for dinner but not for lunch.
Love this place. Only downside is it’s definitely on the pricey side.
Katie’s never disappoints! I took my mom for the first time Sunday (Mother’s day) and she LOVED the pistachio cinnamon roll.
Katie’s consistency is part of their success! Thank you:)
Katie’s last week was amazing as always! I crave going there and make all my friends meet me their for dinner when asked where I want to go.
As always, everything is spot on! We have really enjoyed every visit to this place.
I love Ksatie's!! Every time I go there reminds me of how much I like it. It is so hard for me to decide what to order because there are so many choices of food that I want to eat. I had the artichoke appetizer and the meatball appetizer. I had the pasta with the mushrooms and someone with me got the lobster pasta and both were great!!! I can't wait to go there again!!
Great food in a bustling and loud atmosphere. Despite being in a new building adjacent to a shopping mall, Katie’s has a great neighborhood feel!
Food and service consistently outstanding. Be sure to make a reservation, always a long line to get in.
Great food but the noise level is absurd. Loud enough to inhibit most conversation. They seriously need to put in an acoustic ceiling and other noise-reducing features.
We sat inside and it was extremely loud. So if you’re looking for a romantic date night or a quieter place to catch up I would sit outside or look elsewhere. That said the food was amazing and the service was impeccable :).
Katie's food is world class! Between myself and my husband we have lived in San Francisco, L.A., Boston and New York City as well as traveled to Europe. Neither of us has had a better meal. The service is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals at Katie's have been the only great meals we've had in St. Louis.
I love this restaurant. I have been a number of times for lunch and it is always consistent with excellent food and service. I love the lunch special combos, it is fast and efficient and very pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating if weather permits. It is quieter outside as inside can be a bit noisy but acceptable. The location is very good but I wish one would open in the City.
We loved sitting outdoors. Inside is too noisy. The asparagas salad was fine, but the scallope with capellini was very disappointing. It was not hot and the pasta was stuck together and some of the pasta was not even covered with sauce. I was especially disappointed for my out of town guest.
Get the fresh fig salad - best yet . The pear/prosciutto pizza was also particularly good .
This was my first visit as Katie's came HIGHLY recommended from several loyal patrons. EVERYTHING was perfect from arrival to finish :-)
Brought a friend that had never been there before. She enjoyed it very much. Only issue is the noise level. As the restaurant became crowded we couldn’t talk to each other. Will not stop us from visiting again. 💕
All great except for the noise level! Incredible. It actually hurt our ears and made conversation very difficult. They need to use some noise reducing techniques on ceiling and walls Plenty of room for that. Thankfully, food and service were excellent as usual. Need reservations if you don’t want to wait.
Excellent food/pizza. Server was very busy but did a good job, and had help from others, which is a sign of good management. Will definitely be back.
Love the food as usual. Can’t wait until weather is nice enough for outdoor dining
Katie’s pizzas and pastas are utterly amazing. My family loves coming here and you can totally taste of freshly made everything is. They also do a mean blood orange martini.
Appetizers, pizza, and pasta all perfectly balanced and delicious, even when we made substitutions or additions. Ricotta doughnut dessert could have used a dipping sauce, we thought. Noise level was high but cheerful, lots of kids in the restaurant but couldn't even hear them over the general ambiance. Also, the kids were all playing with pizza dough (alternative to coloring sheets?) and having a good time.
The lobster spaghetti was AMAZING. Hint of lime and cilantro rocked this dish!
$30 for the special mushroom pasta seems high. $50 to have shrimp added seems insane. Love Katie’s pizza, the staff and food is great, but $400 for 5 people seems like I could’ve enjoyed a really nice meal elsewhere for less.
Place just keeps getting better. A tad frustrated that we had a reservation for 6:30 and did not get a table until almost 6:50. Was told on arrival that they would find us when our table was ready so we headed to the bar. after twenty minutes noticed others coming in after us getting tables. So went to the hostess to check on our status and was told, "Oh, i tried to find you but couldn't." Then she said something about I tried to call you on your phone, which was interesting because that was never possibility had not been suggested when we arrived and had it been I would have informed the hostess I did not have a cell phone with me.
Fun and tasty place to meet with friends for birthday celebration. Outside seating was a plus although weather was a bit cool and windy so we opted to stay inside. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with info regarding food choices. Will definitely be returning.
The flavors in each dish were incredible. Service was superb. Katie's never disappoints.
If I was allowed to eat at a restaurant only once a month I'd probably go to Katie's every time for the rest of my life. Truly the best experience from start to finish. Never had anything that I didn't love.
We love Katie's! There were 3 of us and we had two main salads and a pizza and wonderful wine. My salad was the low point -- "famous fried artichoke" as it was drenched in dressing which tasted mostly of vinegar and therefore hard to eat with all the acidity. I pulled the artichokes and nuts out and ate them separately and had some terrific pizza. WE will definitely return. It is a lovely spot for outdoor dining.
Love that they go to the trouble to obtain Morel mushrooms when in season!
It was delicious good, wonderful service, no wait at all, and a really fun night!
