Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria - Rock Hill
Pushy waitress, as with past occasions, trying to flip the table to get to the next customers.
Rude host. We were a few minutes late for our reservation and you would think we committed a capital offense. I was trying to show off St. Louis to an out of towner and Katies snooty attitude ruined that.
Fried artichokes tasted like they were done in very old oil and bread was bland.
The wait person wanted our food order before asking us if we wanted drinks and then ran off before we finished ordering. I literally had to get up and add to my order while she was standing at the computer. Then, of course we waited forever for the check. Super bad experience.
Great food, great service! Until the next time.....
Great as always. Was our first taste of the chicken pizza, which was amazing.
Great food, appreciate the accommodation for the table request. Can’t wait to eat there again!
Party of two. Seated and served promptly—appropriate amount of attention from servers. Fried-artichoke salad was delicious. Seating is very close with server for another table bumping into my dinner companion when attempting to attend to her table. Room noise is very loud.
Loved the apple cider mule and the black garlic bucatini! Ate it all!
Food and service were great but the dishes came out way too fast! Both appetizer and salad came out at same time and we were not finished with those when the entrees came out. As a result, we felt rushed and couldn’t fully take our time and savor our food.
Top notch Italian fare!
I thought there was not enough topping on my pizza. A little dry.
Otherwise, it was good as usual
Fabulous. Excellent, imaginative dishes, great friendly service. One minor suggestion: turn the music down a bit.
Food was very good taste-wise, but we thought it was expensive. We had 3 12" pizzas, two beers, and one cocktail and it was $84. Also it was noisy, all the tables are in the middle between the bar and the kitchen, not conducive to a quiet dinner.
Atmosphere was nice though a bit too noisy. Salads and Appetizer was very good but the Pizzas were overpriced, crust slightly burnt. 5 people in our party and no one "loved or liked" their pizzas. Not sure I will ever go back but perhaps I would try the pasta instead. We were there for my wife's birthday. After confirming my reservations earlier that day with the person from Katie's and the fact she mentioned this was a birthday dinner, thought my wife would get to enjoy a complimentary dessert. The server never mentioned anything and we were glad to get out of there.
Varied food options. Relaxing atmosphere. Great choice for s Saturday night out.
Amazing and unique food! This was my 4th visit and the food and service have been spectacular every time!
Fantastic, fresh food with great service!
Love Katie’s! The food and service is always awesome!
Fantastic brunch! The menu is full of options, including drinks. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely visit again!
Always busy - we had to wait a bit for our reserved table & chose to squeeze in 5 people at a 4 top instead of wait longer. The food was outstanding. From the complimentary hummus, to the buratta appetizer, pizzas and pastas. We even preferred the gluten-free toast points over the original. Delicious!
Always friendly competent service. The food is interesting and innovative, with seasonal variations. It's always well-prepared and presented and has always been delicious. It's a small and busy place, so it gets a bit noisy at times, usually because of the music. We like the music but conversation has to compete. However, everyone seems to be enjoying the food, drinks, and atmosphere. We love Katie's and go there often.
We were here for lunch with friends. We were seated on time for our reservation, without our whole party being there which was appreciated. Our friends arrived a few minutes later and our server was friendly and attentive and explained the lunch special, and was able to offer one of the usually happy hour specials at a slightly higher price. Nearly all of us took advantage of the outstanding lunch special of salad or soup + an entree of either pizza, pasta, or sandwich. In our case, 1 pasta and 3 pizzas. Good old pepperoni was substituted cheerfully for meatballs while still keeping the special price. Classic Margherita, Classico joined the pepperoni and our other friend got a special Pear Happy Hour pizza all with crispy but tender crust and generously topped. Mushroom pasta rounded out the entrees nicely. Fried artichoke salads were enjoyed by all, with creamy mozzarella and roasted seasoned pistachios and some roasted asparagus to boot. All in all a great lunch. Only drawback is it can be very noisy, which can limit the enjoyment of lunchtime conversations. We stuck around long enough that lunch rush abated and we were able to then enjoy our after lunch visit. Overall excellent!
We were greeted and received nicely even though we were too early for our RSVP. Service was great, and the food was awesome. The bar and seating area create a bit of a noisy area, but the service and food were worth it.
Great food just really noisey. Prefer when it is warm out a d I can sit on the patio
Went to Katie's for a romantic birthday dinner and was not disappointed. The food was excellent. Took a little while to be seated even though we had a reservation, but after our order was taken the food came out very quickly. We ordered fried artichoke salad and the sausage pizza with béchamel sauce. Both were delicious. Highly recommended. Definitely make a reservation ahead to time.
Food was amazing and service was exceptional!! We’ve had dinner here previously, but this was our first brunch and it did not disappoint!
A great place to connect with friends and have a wonderful meal!
Nice lunch with friends
Black garlic artichoke pizza is a must have!
Loved the food and great service, but the noise level is very high.
KPPO never fails! ❤️ It’s a local gem that is one of our favorite go-to’s. Their weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas is outstanding. The staff and service is always excellent. We visited this past weekend during one of their Pizzaar events, which are always fun!
Food was terrific! The Fried Artichoke Salad was outstanding. Will be back soon!
Great food- fun place. One of our go to favorites in St Louis!!!
Consistency seems to be an issue. Our first visit was excellent: service was very attentive despite a loud, packed house; plenty of excellent menu options that tasted delicious; and they were even very kid-friendly (sending out dough for our 2 yr old to play with). This (second) visit was disappointing, by comparison. The house was again packed, seating was prompt. Water service was spotty throughout, and our child's dish only finally arrived as we were wrapping up our main courses.
Another fantastic dinner at Katie’s Pizza!
Great Salas that you could have for an entree! Keep in mind, it’s pricey though! Also, there was some interesting taste in music- very clubby for a Tuesday but fun vibe!
Always good food, good service
Service, Service, Service outstanding!! We were a group of fourteen to celebrate Baby announcement with family friends! Everyone was so very pleased with the foods and the attentive care provided by the manager and our waitress! A wonderful experience! Thank you for being so accommodating!
Food was delicious!! Luckily we had a reservation because the place was packed!
Outstanding! Inventive menu!
