   Overall, the experience was OK however, there were two people in our party who had to send their steaks back, not once but twice. The management did take care of that portion of the bill. However, it did not seem quite enough. We also had to repeatedly ask for something such as the bread and butter.

   I believe this is the best restaurant in Mesquite, NV. We have been here for the last 13 years and we always eat at Katherines because of the food. Their Hot Spinach Salad made tableside is so good and their steaks are always cooked to perfection.

   we had high hopes, sadly the food was all bland, overcooked, the bread was like a biscuit and olives that tasted like they were dried out and old from the bar caddy were served. We ordered mussels, a Caesar salad, ribeye steak, and lobster. Every food item was a 2 out of 10, I didn’t even finish anything because it was all so disappointing. To also then pay $200 stung. We definitely will never go back. Service was exceptionally slow, although friendly, that’s not what I come to a steakhouse for. I come for the food.

   this night was VERY NOISY.GREAT SERVICE BUT SERVER ASSIGNED YO YOO MANY TABLES.SMALLER PORTIONS THAN LAST TIME,BUT SALMOM, ESCARGOT,CRAB CAKES ALL GOOD.JUST SO MUCH NOISE

   The food was pretty good. It seemed very over priced. The servers were good but seemed stretched very thin. They tried hard and did the best they could. It was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation at our table. My elderly parents didn’t even try. Myself and my husband who can hear well had to repeat things constantly. I ordered for the table because I was afraid the waiter wouldn’t be able to hear us. Not sure if we’d come back.

   We came for dinner early in hopes of missing the noisy golf crowd and it worked for most of dinner. It was just very very loud so we left before dessert. The food was amazing. The staff goes above and beyond. Next time we will try eating in the little room off the bar… Part of the lounge I believe. We will be back.

   Service by Sam was excellent; food was excellent; but noise level was terrible, we couldn't hear each other across the table. the boss host was doing nothing to assist or talk to customers, just walked around with his hands in his pockets. Room was overcrowded. Too many tables to take care of for one server.

    Food was edible, dining experience tolerable, music was too loud. Menu has changed once again, prices increased less choices to choose from. Husband an I both ordered the special, Halibut. Itwas served with green beans, $42.00. Halibut pan seared no sauce, dry, green beans steamed no flavor. Also we were serve dried out reheated rolls. We have been going to Katherine’s for many years and are disappointed with the food and service. Katherine’s has always been a place that we would take our of town guests to dine because of the great an atmosphere and delicious food. But after the last 3 dining experiences we will look elsewhere to entertain our guest.
