Kasa Moto Ratings and Reviews
Food was amazing, fresh, tasty, each dish was delicious, service excellent and they were very careful with food allergies and personal preferences.
I would say the downstairs tables are too cold at this time of year so not enjoyable to eat there the upper split level has booths and they are big and not efficient use of space, but the only place I like to sit....however booths are family style and harder to talk with friends....the back is too bright and no ambiance feels casual more like a lunch place, back not for me. I like the full dining experience, delicious food, great ambiance, great service for the the full dining experience. I think smaller tables and more of them would create a much cozier ambiance and need to do something with the lower level in the winter blankets are not the answer, need to insulate those windows.....
Lastly I would say it is expensive but the food is excellent!!
Excellent food quality, great selection, the meats are amazing, and also the appetizers, although the price range is on the high high side, but for special occasions it is well worth it
I have been there several times on different occasions, and every time I have had a great experience, will come back again soon.
Disappointed to see changes to the menu because of a “new chef”. Since when does the chef decide the menu. Especially to remove staple items such as the hamachi and spicy tuna on rice. Overall great service and atmosphere. Will not be returning due to chcanges to menu
Based on the prices I would have to say this is special occasion place but it really shouldn’t be the food is nice but not enough to fill one up we came for lunch time spent $200 and were hungry after and although I get the quality is there it has to be a little more for the money ... overall I ha s no desire to come here again ... you can go to the four seasons eat like a king for this amount of money ! Sorry
I have heard from several people that the customer service at Kasa Moto is terrible but I thought I would still check it out for a girls night out for my friends birthday dinner. When we got seated our waitress came up to us to let us know that the menus would be brought out. Ok that's fine. We started taking pics and vlogging throughout the night , I don't know if that made her upset but she she was rude and passive aggressive. She came up to us max twice throughout the whole night. When we asked for the bill it took her another 10 mins to come with the machine , she was avoiding us the whole night. She had another person bring out our cake and she made another person being out the debit machine. She was very angry throughout the whole night, and we don't know why. But my friends and I are bloggers and vloggers so we have our cameras out all the time, it's our job. Anytime we start vlogging or taking pics she would quickly make a u turn. I would not recommend this place to anyone !! I would never be coming back here.
Both the location and exterior appeal to KM were very appealing and once inside it was evident that there were only professionals operating within a well-structured system. First the Hostesses and then our waitress Sarah, kind and very warm in both their mannerisms and interactions.
A definite recommendation to both friends and family (I already have).
We were seated upstairs for dinner on a Friday shortly after 7pm. Unfortunately the music was unbearably loud we could hardly hear each other or converse. We thought perhaps it was the upstairs area only, but when we left the restaurant, the main dining room downstairs was equally as loud. Imagine eating dinner in a nightclub. It's a shame because otherwise, the restaurant has great decor and great food.
Kasa Motto's patio was beautiful. I had a fun experience! Was fun to go out to with a group of friends & the DJ was spinning some sweet tech house on a Thursday night. The food was ok , definitely on the pricy side for what you recieve. My tofu was super oily. The sushi rolls were alright. The ambiance is nice & pleasant.
The hostess was accommodating and we requested the upstairs patio. The ambience was relaxed and mood and lighting were perfect for this beautiful fallish weather that we are having.
Our server was engaging and attentive. He humoured is as we can be very “engaging” and fun with everyone around us that we randomly meet.
The food as usual was great. The rolls we ordered were fresh and the Rock Shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I wasn’t too impressed with the calamari as when I tasted certain portions it had a bitter charred taste.
We ordered wine and even though they did not have the Chianti I ordered they brought another Chianti to the table which is a lesser cost but it was still a good bottle of wine. However my only issue is that I did not check my bill but I still was charged for the more expensive bottle. Which I didn’t have a big issue with since I called the restaurant and they said they will fix the issue and refund the difference plus tax back onto my credit card so no harm done.
The whole dinner experience was very pleasant from the time we came in to the time we left. I’ve been to Kasamoto on a few occasions and will continue to do so in the future.
Service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Our table was seated at 645, we ordered drinks at 650. ONE drink arrived at 720 while the other 5 took at least another 10 min. We ordered s bottle of wine which then also took forever to arrive. The server actually REACHED ACROSS one of the guest to place a drink in front of another. Our actual server was never around and if she was, she was filling water and not taking our order. So frustrating. We called the manager over, we spoke with the sommelier as well anyone who we could stop. The food was just ok. Very expensive for just ok.
The menu has changed and they have taken off key menu. Items that made this rest unique and an all time favourite for me and my friends and team. It was my go to. Even the waiter mentioned things had changed and people were pleased. Tuna on rice, cooking your own steak, variety of teas, sauces changed. The replacements are not adequate and the flavours are not good. This will be my last time going sadly!
Was disappointed when I arrived and they claimed I wasn't on the patio despite calling the morning of to confirm that the reservation was for the patio. They were able to accommodate us after a bit of negotiating at a smaller table in the back corner so it wasn't the experience we were looking for.
