Great food. Great people. Great service.
Always have a good experience. Roberts was amazing!!
Food is always great here. The service was top notch and we could carry on a conversation with ease since the noise level was not bad.
Food was not as good as previous times, maybe due to different cook
Food was excellent
Was disappointed with our meal
They would give us 2 sushi rolls then leave for 30 minutes each time. Their excuse was that they had a large takeaway order. The food was very average for their prices. Wouldn't recommend.
Amazing experience and food
Food was great, but expensive. Music was loud and made conversation a challenge. We ordered too much food. When consulted about the number of dishes, the server was not helpful in her recommendations. Hence the over-ordering.
Expensive, not so good, good be better
Amazing time. Amazing food. I loved it
Love! Will be back.
It was a cool vibe with good food
Loved the food, loved the decor. Music was a bit loud for conversation, service was friendly and helpful but quite slow.
Would definitely return again :)
Amazing service and food!!😁
The atmosphere is pretty good, but the food comparing to other similar-price restaurants doesn't surprise me at all. Kasa moto maki is really good, other than that, just okay. Maybe I expected a little bit more. Also, we got wrong food for 3 times, we understand it was a busy Thursday, just kindly hope the people sit next to us were not too sad when they witnessed their food had a tour on our table.
Always find the service and the food to be very good
Great location, food wasn’t what I expected, I had high hopes but didn’t live up to it. Music was a tad bit loud, had trouble listening to my other half. It was also a bit dark, had trouble looking at the menu.
the rice I had was a bit undercooked but everything else, as always, was great! :)
Very disappointing..ride was cold steak was chewy. Was charged for the entire order.
A perfect evening!
I’m glad I didn’t book my birthday party here. The place is stunning, and our server was adorable and wonderful. There was a delicious cocktail with marshmallows on top. That’s where it ended. Our table was in a hallway and it was chilly by the window. The food was far less than expected. The lobster appetizer tasted like a frozen dish you’d pop in the oven for family members you don’t like. The sashimi was ok, not worth the price tag, the steak was cold, the rock shrimp just meh. Lastly, the volcanic dessert was underwhelming and not worth the calories. Our wine came in at $36 a glass, though we thought we saw it as $18. Our nearly $400 bill made us wishing we’d gone somewhere else and had a good meal.
Fantastic dinner, hot stone is amazing
It was our first time here and we went for the winterlicious menu. The winterlicious menu was mediocre. My wife ordered the salmon and there was 4 tiny this slices that would have been equal to one slice of salmon at a normal restaurant. Overall the food was ok, value was poor, but ambiance was good.
Great food, great service! Will be back!
The food was delicious and the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent
Service was good but food was average for the price. Owner’s from New York and head chef is Korean - this is translated in the ambience/vibe and the cooking style, respectively. The place has a posh look and feel; however, small details are lacking (e.g. my pair of chopsticks were not the same length as the tip is broken). The food has bold flavours which is appreciated but the entree was too salty. The dessert was the highlight of the evening.
Nice food and Nice staff, but quite short of staffs
By far one of the worst experience in “fine” dining. The food was not good but that’s not the biggest problem. The waitress was too busy flirting with the table beside us. Perhaps she expected them to give her more tip. But the service we got was horrible. The utensil were never change d for us and appetizer plates were not taken off our table when the main courses arrive. The waiter who brought my soup spilled it on my pants. And when I asked for a cup of hot water I had to ask twice and waited 20 minutes for it. By the very end of the meal, I’ve received a notification asking me why I have not showed up to my reservation? Very very disappointing experience, never will be coming back.
The food is so bad, not tasty at all. The services were soooo slow. Bad winterlicious experience!
Winterlicious serving sizes are cut in half, and customer service from the manager is non-existent.
We paid close to $70 with tip for 4 tiny slices of salmon, 4 spoonfuls of butter lamb rice, and rancid cheesecake. The whole point of Winterlicious is to give customers a good value for a three/four course meal on regular sized/priced menu items. If you will be reducing your menu items to reflect the discount price, please don't participate in Winterlicious as it would be cheaper to just go on a regular night, pay regular price, and get more food.
Regular menu better than the winterlicious one.
Recommend hot stone beef, kind of BBQ but different with normal. Grilled whole sea bass taste a little bit sweet, topping with spring sprouts make this dish taste fresh, tender fish meat, velvety smooth.
The service was horrible and our main dishes came out cold after waiting an hour and half between appetizers and mains.
Everything was super greasy. Salmon appie had too much oil. Lamb dish was mostly greasy rice and a small yet fatty piece of lamb. The chocolate dessert was very good! My friend disliked the matcha cheesecake. We were super disappointed by the quality. And sitting upstairs felt like we weren’t even in a Yorkville restaurant. No ambiance. We weren’t offered a glass of wine till after our entree arrived. Just overall disappointing.
Really loved this place. The menu is designed for sharing plates , but I found that the rice and noodle options were large enough to have one as a main.
Service was great, food was excellent ( I reccomend the waygu fried rice). A really great Yorkville option. I’ll defintely be back.
Excellent service. Wonderful food. Best overall.
Delicious as always! Never disappoints!
Overall an amazing experience with a great ambience and delicious food! Would definitely recommend and go again in the near future.
We went for our son’s birthday dinner. He is a New Year’s Eve baby. There was a preset menu. It was a lot of food! The server was very nice.
Having made the dinner reservation early in December and also having stated that it was a birthday dinner I was surprised with an empty restaurant at 6:00pm that we were sat at a table beside the kitchen next to another occupied table. I asked to be moved to a booth that wasn’t even being used until the 8:00pm! Very poor on the restaurant ‘s part!!!
