Lunch bento box is a steal ..
Great service , food , and drink ..
Food was great, ambience was great, no views though
One of the best sushi restaurants in NYC. I don’t like Omakase, and this restaurant allows me to have except food and choose my own items.
Cheap Chan is amazing , he remember what we love and don’t
Absolutely outstanding food, ambiance, and service. Best sushi I've had in a long time.
Terrific and interesting take on traditional Japanese. Very glamorous crowd but no attitude. Very expensive
Our favorite spot !
Excellent service and food
Great Experience !!!
My third time there and this was the most disappointing. I overlooked the prices the first two times because the quality of the food is truly exquisite. This time, while the food was good, the service was not and that combined with the noise level that made it impossible to carry on a conversation put a damper on my experience. In fact we all agreed the best thing we ate was the king crab "California" roll, but for $33 it simply is not worth the fact that the crab meat is fresh. My nephew's udon noodle soup was bland at best, the dancing (fried) shrimp was greasy as were the panko chicken skewers. The meat skewers were excellent, but they had better be for the price. The portions are minuscule as well. On my previous visits the service was attentive. This time, not so much. Look, this is not a bad restaurant, or even an average one. It is excellent, but certain high standards must be maintained and one of them is consistency. Especially when you are paying those prices.
Terrible service - servers were slow and ignored us and then were belligerent when we had to repeat our request for desert
Phenomenal omakase! This was my second visit and was glad I pulled it out for an anniversary meal 😎
Preparation of our meal was top notch & the selections were paced and balanced wonderfully. We also brought our own wine and the restaurant was kind enough to accommodate, granted at a cost of $95. Fortunately we had an exceptional bottle so it was well worth it!
Best Japanese ever
It was an awesome evening with outstanding dishes. Hope to be back soon again.
Omakase was fresh and innovative. My sons and I enjoyed our experience.
Fabulous in every way!
We had a superb meal....when you taste the incredible freshness of the food here, you realize in a flash how many mediocre Japanese meals you may have had. Combine that with the creativity of some of the fusions dishes, and it makes for a truly memorable meal. Our only complaint is that the tables are very close together and the room is noisy - not conducive to quiet conversation.
Food is great and fresh, great service and the Manager is very nice and professional. Definitely will be going back again and again.
Only this time.
Omakase is expensive but excellent. Only reason value is only three stars. You get what you pay for and you're paying for 5 stars.
The food is amazing!!
Kappo Masa never disappoints. Love sitting at the sushi bar and watching the masters at work.
Tables crammed together, felt like eating at a communal table. Food ridiculously overpriced. Wine even more so. Food was okay but not worth the cost at all.
Best Restaurant! Amazing food, service and vibe! ALways my top choice for NYC dining at it's finest!
Food is always delicious and the service is very attentive without being intrusive.
Overrated and not worth the price.
Always great food. Very expensive
Food is good, however, as repeatedly mentioned in reviews on every site, completely and utterly overpriced. Service rushed and not too friendly. Couldn't enjoy ambiance, as we were seated at one of three tables front of bar area. Attendant in gallery was downright rude.
Food, atmosphere and service were sublime.
The salmon bento was delish and live the diva tea and mango dessert.
Amazing food and service! Very quiet and very cozy! I Dine there a few times a month . Highly recommend.
Absolutly amazing food, great ambience and beautiful people. The maitre very nice.
Delicious. Good service. But very expensive.Very expensive
Do not go here if you are with an important guest. On two separate occasions, we were here for a dinner with important guests. Both times, we sensed that servers came around to try to clear plates (with food on it) multiple times to try to have us leave asap. Then a gentleman comes around asking if we need anything else multiple times when there is still food being worked on the table. He also sent our servers to ask the same again and again. It got really upsetting. At one point the gentleman directly told me that they have a “very large party coming in, so (I) should clear out. I was sitting at a table for two and had just opened my second bottle of wine with food still on the table. I told him so, and then they just started pouring and pouring wine into my/my guest’s glass at super fast speed. We did not see the “large party” come in while we felt compelled to force down our wines like water. People come here to mainly enjoy the ambiance, but it is too bad that for both my experiences, I felt like I was kicked out and did not feel welcomed.
Beautiful food and atmosphere. Very expensive. Lunch special a good deal except for sashimi which is tiny.
Very good food.
But really very expensive restaurant
I eat alone and I pay 423 dlls. It’s tu mucho.
No alcohol very expensive
Chef’s 8 course tasting was spectacular
The A5 rare beef with truffle was great, but the seasoned vegetable and juju were really weird. Recommend avocado Rolls tuna sushi and grilled crab.
