Great place! Good food and fantastic atmosphere
Best restaurant ever. I recomend to everyone. The interior design is lit. And the food omg the best part of it.
Another critical success on Kaori's end. Thank you for the incredible service.
Dinner was good . I preferred the wine about the coctels ( not so good) Very cool ambiance with the projections. Food was tasty. I will be back again to try more things
Im not a review person but definitely this place worth it ! Thanks for the outstanding moment . The dj selection make me feel in a club .... Octopus was really good . I will be back for the pasta . Loved it !
I must say that I am rarely impressed, but this time I was breath taken. Simply the most unbelievable experience. The staff was very attentive to every single detail, from the hostess to server. The food was mouthwatering and the drinks were a perfect combination of delight. The DJ played perfect music, the volume was just right. IT was a true pleasure meeting the manager Damian, he was extremely professional. I am now a regular. 2 thumbs up.
I went with my Husband and some friends and we had a good time. The Screen are so much fun colorful and surrealistic.
Regarding the food is high end cuisine. Yummi! The girls loved the high heels presentation. Besides this, the manager came to our table and introduced himself explaining a bit about the concept of the place. We had a blast and walked around the brickell area right after.
We had 9:30 reservations and were not seated until 10:25 pm. We received our first course at 10:55 pm and by 11:15 They had never cleared the plates so we left with our Valentine's day ruined. Of the 4 employees 3 either couldn't or wouldn't speak in English, plus the one course that did come, vegetable tempura felt like it had been sitting around for a while and was flaccid, a word you don't want used on Valentine's day.
Everything about our first time there was awful!!
Stood outside forever waiting for a host to check our reservation. Finally walked in and went to the bar to ask who could help us. Despite reservation, seats were taken up and they sat us at the bar. The lack of attention and the outrageous price of menu items (along with the small portion sizes) is what did it for me. Go to Pincho Factory instead, 20 feet to the right and way better priced.
This was probably the worst dining experience that I have ever had and I eat out a lot. The service was terrible and the food subpar and over priced. I had optimism for the drinks because they looked good on the menu, but those were also mostly terrible and took forever to arrive in spite of the fact we were one of the only people in the place. The waiter forgot one of the drinks all together. The employees appeared to be vaping and drinking shots at the end of the bar, which could explain a lot. I never write reviews but felt compelled to after this experience.
Delicious food with a very unique atmosphere! The changing walls gave lots to look and talk about. The place was less busy then expected (8pm on a Saturday) and smaller than expected, but a great overall experience.
Food is amazing
Best octopus! Fresh sushi. And pasta very fresh and delicious. A little pricey and gratuity is included at 18%
Appears closed. There with another party who booked thru Open table.
The food is regular, nothing expectacular as I read in it's reviews. The octopus didn't have flavor and they use a lot of oil and the breas is super greasy.
At the beginning it does not invite to a excitement place, but through the dinner the overall experience was very good
The location is central to Brickell: easy access to shops, restaurants, buildings and parks. I had the prosciutto roll with Mediterranean octopus and tiramisu. My
Cocktail was the spicy smoked mango and all was nice and balanced. Portions were small but very filling! Can’t wait to go back during dinner with friends and family!
We went for Miami Spice and were not disappointed! They did not make the portions smaller to accommodate the discounted price. The items came out with the creativity and presentation just as they would at full price options. Every bite was filled with so much flavor. The ambiance was what you would expect from a high end brickell restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to our every need. A must go for anyone that loves art and food combined!
I thought it was overall very formal and excellent. The food was perfect and so was the service. I love the projectors on the walls and the decor as well.
We ordered tuna tartar with caviar and they brought us something that was not on the menu. The service staff dropped dirty rag, and the servers did not acknowledge until it was brought to their attention. Overall, mediocre at best!
The food was good, but nothing special about it. Not worth the price tag!
Had reservation but put at bar. Service very poor. Food was ok but not worth money. Had been prior and loved it but was very disappointed this time. Octopus was best ever had last time, this time was fishy.
This is my second time dining at this establishment. I came here last year for a bday and returned this year for my bday celebration lol. I came here with my boyfriend and another couple. We enjoyed the changing images on the walls, the music and the atmosphere. The food was delicious as well! They also had a great wine selection. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. Will def recommend this spot and will also revisit soon!
My favorite place till now
Great miami spice, drinks are great!!!
I had my cousin visiting us from Italy For their honeymoon , I Wanted to surprise them And kaori was the perfect place . I was surprise myself and impressed about the ambiance, Till now best place and the food was awesome.....I just had such a great time definitely I will come back , Rodrigo the waiter give us the best recommendation .
We got there, restaurant was really busy, our table was ready as expected by having a reservation. The staff is really profesional and polite. We come for the miami spice, but also the waiter recommend to get some extra appetizers to complete the meal and the experience. We had two cocktails to start, the best old fashioned i ever had and something called cucumber sage which is delicious and refreshing. We order a rolls mix plater that is presented in a tree, it tasted delicious and it look fantastic definitely a must in kaori, tempura in a shoe?? Yes they have that too and is the best. For the main course we had the octopus and filet mignon paring with a glass of wine the waiter recommended. Overall i will come back and recommend this place to my friends.
My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place because we heard the ambiance was amazing!? Hmmmmm when it works. Food was below average and service was terrible. The tempura vegetables were actually very good, but that was it! Lots of people working, but standing around. Super frustrating as a customer. I don't mind paying for great food, but this place needs an overhaul!
I was captivated by the photos and description of the culinary experience that was to be had at Kaori. What i found was a culinary nightmare. I think this restaurant has to focus less on visual projections and more on good old fashion service. This restaurant has no idea of what even basic service is. The only good thing that took place during my culinary experience at this restaurant was that I didn't hang around long enough to order food. Which I have read, is also anticlimactic and over priced. The evening started with a young lady that never welcomed us and seemed bothered by the fact that we interrupted her evening sitting on a stool outside overlooking the brickell lights. She opened the door walked in (in front of us, of course) and simply pointed at bar and said you can wait there until your table is ready. Well we thought this was odd, but we made our way through tight spaces over to the bar. At the bar we looked around and thought well maybe it will get better. After having drinks, which were good, we were told our table was ready by the bartender. Yes We were pointed towards the area that had a few tables. We walked over again by ourselves and picked a table for 2 that was available at the time. We then waited a bit until someone approached us. Before we could ask for water he was gone. The next person that approached us was even faster. He just dropped off 2 ipads. Not sure who either of these individuals were because no one even looked at us. At this point the whole culinary experience crashed. We continued to wait but after approximately 20 min and having finished our drinks we decided that we had enough. I proceeded to walk back to the bar and paid for our drinks. We walked down the street a few blocks and had a great dinner with fantastic service. I cant imagine this place will.be around for long. I would never return or recommend Kaori.
Miami Spice dinner - grisly filet mignon and slow service
Honestly expected more.
The location is in between low profile venues that do not give honor to the restaurant.
Prices are high - food is interesting but not excellent.
Staff is very nice.
I was very disappointed with the food and the wait time. There were only three others in the restaurant at dinner and it still took forever to get my food. What was really disappointing was that I ordered a medium well filet that came out medium rare and sent it back. When they returned the food it looked like they just chopped up the filet and cooked it well done. It looked like dog food and there was obviously less meat than what I had before. The taste of the food, from what little I had, was bland and mediocre. I had to go somewhere else to eat afterwards. Honestly, I rather go to a fast food place.
Does not worth the money. Small dishes and really pricey for an average food. Do not recommend.
The ambiance is something to admire. The projections on the wall help to keep you entertained even when there is a quiet moment at your table. The presentation of the appetizers was very cool. How many people can say they ate tempura vegetables from a high heel shoe and a purse? The sushi rolls were also pretty good. The entrees were ok but to be honest we were stuffed after the appetizers. It was soooo much food. The deserts were delicious. I had the tiramisu and was not disappointed. There were 5 of us and we left 2.5 hours after our 7:30pm reservation. To be honest, service was a little slow but I think it was to give you the not rushing you feel.
I took my husband here expecting to have a nice intimate dinner for his birthday. From the start the service was awful. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for water and were only given one "tablet menu" to share. The waiter barely spoke English and he was working alone serving all of the tables. Someone who I assume was the manager spent his time socializing with those patrons whom he was familiar with and never came to ask us how we were doing. The two stars are for the food being good, my drink tasty, and the projected wall art being different. Small portion sizes and ridiculous prices. Will not return.
Loved the experience at Kaori! Food and service are amazing and the atmosphere is unique.I will definitely go back.
Great experience, out of the common, trendy, fashion, great music and awesome decoration. Food was very good, great italo-japanese fusion. It's pricey but it's worth the experience.
Great Restaurant. Every single dish we ordered were exquisit. The staff and the Chef very amicable. A little expensive but worth having dinner❣️Maybe the music a little loud at the beginning but we asked to lower a little to talk and so they did. I would highly recommend going.
The design of the spot, with its projection screen walls and rainbow of colored victorian-style chairs and white tables like something out of a psychodelic Alice in Wonderland, just wows from the first glance. The food is eclectic and nuanced, the menu seems a bit sparse and seems to unneccessarily slant towards upcharges for "special offerings" like Wagyu on top of Risotto. I just felt like it was unneccessary. The food is delicious and presentations are elegant (not everything tho, some dishes needed more thought about presentation in my opinion)... the flavors were all hitting the right marks. Great date spot.
