(About 150 pcs) Kansaku Supreme ($300): Nigiri (About 100 pcs) includes Sea Urchin and Sweet Shrimp. You can also mix and match in between packages to create and fulfill your catering needs. We do off-site catering

We brought our friends to Kansaku for the first time, and they enjoyed it as much as we have in the past. Excellent food and service and good value.

We had the salmon teriyaki entree and tuna avocado maki - both were good. Service was perfect.

Kansaku remains our favorite restaurant here in Evanston (my home town). Normally, everything (food, service, ambience) rate 5 stars. But last night (Friday, May 9) when we arrived our 7:00 reservation, there was a HUGE crowd seated or waiting to be seated, and the staff was clearly overwhelmed. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and then another half hour for anyone to take our order (even for drinks). Because of the crowd, the noise level was louder than usual, but we were seated in a corner near the windows where the noise was tolerable. When the food finally arrived, it was wonderful as always. Perhaps the manager should plan for more servers on weekends to better handle the larger number of diners, especially toward the end of the school year at Northwestern, high school graduations, etc. What happened last night clearly was an anomaly, but better planning by the manager would have helped.
