Kam’s door's opened in 1988 as a neighborhood restaurant, and still remains a neighborhood gem for the loyal locals. Family owned and operated, we work to provide an atmosphere that is both relaxed and comfortable. We have our special blend of East and West and mix modern with the traditional. Just like you are at a good friend's home, 'rushed' is the last thing you will feel here.

Our kitchen is where we bring you a savory array of Pan-Asian dishes as well as familiar Chinese comfort food done right. Virtually every single item, sauce, taste on our menu is fresh and from scratch.

Centrally located in the historic Montrose District and next to the Museum District and Medical Center, our customers range from the artistic inclined to the growing family and everyone in between. We have even had the pleasure to welcome a President and a celebrity or two.

The appetizers and main course were excellent. Avoid the baked desserts.

Was introduced to this restaurant by a friend 6 months ago. Loved it then and love it now. Location is great, but parking can be a challenge at times. Thick wrapped pork dumplings are a must. Eggplant Julienne was recommended by the staff. I'm glad they did as it's a dish I always order when I visit this establishment.

All of the items that we ordered tasted very good and fresh. I liked that the entrees did not come with an overpowering sauce. We will return.

Food is quite good and reasonably priced. Our service was not up to par, probably because a new server was working the table. All in all, a good place to eat.

We had another delicious meal at Kams and celebrated our 30th anniversary. Margarita, Cindi and all the staff make us feel so welcome. The sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken was as tasty as ever. It is a joy in our lives to eat there and a restaurant we look forward to eating at every other Saturday.

We had our annual family Christmas celebration. Chris, the owner, could not have been more gracious. We had a lovely table for 6 by the Christmas tree. The food seemed to be more delicious than ever and we have been eating at Kams for almost 30 years. We had outstanding service from Cindi and all the staff made us feel special as always.

The sesame chicken with slice jalapenos is highly recommended as is the fried pork dumplings.

Merry Christmas to all!

Met 2 other colleagues for dinner at Kam’s. Wine selection is acceptable, though more international options would be nice. Beer selection is large and a good offering of options.

We started with crab cream cheese spring rolls, which were quite nice. My entree was Luc Lac with tofu (pictured). This entree is outstanding. The homemade sauce used in cooking is amazing. Highly recommended entree. I will visit Kam’s again.
