I took my nephew to this restaurant as he requested Indian food. I wanted to treat him to a really nice dinner because I don't see him too often. This is one of the very best Indian restaurants I've been to in Canada. The food was very fresh and the service impeccable. The ambience is perfect for conversation and each dish came out sizzling hot. I've never had such moist kebabs before. I would highly recommend and will be returning soon.
We have been coming regularly since this restaurant opened. Always amazing. Never disappoints. Our favourite restaurant!
Dinner at Kamasutra is always a delight. Their butter chicken and Brie pakoras are absolutely out of this world! Will always return for those!
Food is fantastic - everything we had was incredible, and service was excellent - all the waitstaff were very attentive and polite. Will definitely be back.
The food was great and the selection was excellent. The restaurant was far from being crowded which made for a relatively quiet meal in very pleasant surroundings, the decor and table presentation being quite elegant. If you like Indian food you can't do much better than this.
This restaurant has deceiving prices. The prices on the menu that they have posted on their website are different than the menu that they hand you. As a result, will not be going back there, sneaky.
Dinner for 2 was more than enough. That would serve 3 people atleast. We had to pack some stuff. The food was exellent.
I love the food in this place. Always fresh and enjoyable. Service is great. Price is very reasonable. Not the most quiet and romantic of restaurants but very comfortable. Great for friends and family gatherings
Very delicious food. This restaurant has changed ownership many times in the past and the food now is as good as it's ever been. I'm glad we live in the neighbourhood.
we enjoyed the food but were disappointing that they had run out of the dessert so early in the evening
A great find. Authentic, well prepared and presented Indian food. Spicy enough. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Service times were good. Especially enjoyed the Mango Lassi drink. I am sure anyone enjoying Indian food would not be disappointed and could dine here in confidence.
Service and food were great. Went for winterlicious. Apps and main were awesome and authentic. Dessert was poor pre bought and not authentic to the meal. Cheesecake was frozen in the centre still.
Would have enjoyed an option of the deserts off the menu which were authentic Indian.
Best Indian food in town and very good service. Fresh nann bread and best butter chicken I have ever had.
Kamasutra is a favourite restaurant of ours in the Bayview Ave. area. Nice ambiance, attentive service, delicious flavours. We usually go for the Lovers' Thali for two (great selection to choose from), but tried the Winterliscious menu this time - terrific! Also great options. Food was flavourful, but could have been spicier for our taste (but maybe our selections didn't call for spicy?)
The management was very friendly and the food was to the mark worth the drive!!
Great food and great service
Good neighbourhood Indian food. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
The decoration is fine but the quality of the food is low (taste but also ill after eating there)
Great food and service. My only issue was that we had a hair in our tamarind sauce. Other than that, it was good.
Fantastic and authentic food , always great service. Very good quality ingredients used
It was great.
Overall a good experience, the service was fast and friendly. There are lots of dishes to choose from, both meat and vegetarian options are quite good, excellent Indian flavors.
Suitable to all taste from mild and spicy. Best to have some idea of what you like and the level of spiciness you can tolerate, the menu can be overwhelming to a first timer. Great place to share and try new dishes. Really enjoyed it!
Local Indian restaurant has been around now for about 4 or 5 years. Very nice place in Leaside/North Toronto. Ambience is very nice and comfortable. Service was good. Food was delicious and not too spicy, for this old white guy. Try the garlic na'an along with Cheetah beer and any entree (chicken, lamb, veggies, etc.) You and your date will be most satisfied. Nice experience!
Food has almost return to the way it was 10 yrs ago. Chicken pakoras where chewy and we had to ask for complimentary papardams. I will go back as it is the best indian restaurant in Toronto
Kamasutra used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. My last visit was a disappointment. The staff made us feel as if we were an inconvenience. I booked through open table for a 9:30 pm. The restaurant accepts reservations until 10:00 pm on Open table. The food is still good, however, the service was rushed and unwelcoming. Prices have also in creased and based on the service we experienced, I would say the restaurant is now overpriced. I am certain there are better Indian restaurants close by if you are looking for Indian food without the attitude!
Fantastic service and the food was delicious as always.
We had a large group (16) and the service was excellent: professional yet warm and friendly. We felt very well looked after. The food was excellent and met all the varied needs in our group.
Food and service was excellent. We celebrated our second anniversary here.
A great dining experience. Very friendly atmosphere. Will visit again soon.
This restaurant looks like the prices would be quite expensive, but the prices are very reasonable. The service is fantastic and the cocktails are delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Good food and service. We were a group of 6 and had a great evening. Highly recommend.
We had a friendly staff as always! Nice to see friends after a few years and had a good time with good food..thank you always!!!
Great food and great service. One of our party is strictly gluten free and our servers were very knowledgeable about the menu; my friend felt confident that she could eat safely.
Fabulous food for great value -- attentive wait staff and perfect place to dine with friends and hear each other speak -- also, when we inadvertently overtipped, the manager came over to clarify and facilitate refunding the amount. Very impressed :-)
Sadly, when we showed up we were informed that the restaurant was closed! This is despite getting confirmation of the reservations - twice! The restaurant neither called nor emailed me to tell me they would be closed.
They offered us no help in finding another venue (we were celebrating my parents' 86th birthdays) or invite us back at a later date.
We have, till now, been regular clients at the restaurant. After this horrible experience -????
Food quality was rather poor, left three of us feeling sick in the stomach. The place is overpriced for very mediocre flavors and service.
I have been there numerous times - the food is always amazing and service excellent too. I do find it odd that you have to order rice separately from the main dishes. A small bowl of plain rice should be standard with each meal and then if you want to upgrade to a curry rice, for example, you can pay extra.
Nice find and it was a last minute choice for us and we would go back
The Butter Chicken was the best I have ever tasted!
Kamasutra consistently offers good food and is a favourite neighbourhood place. The Tandoori cauliflower if delicious. Tbe restaurant serves a good selection of Indian cuisine, including many tasty vegetable dishes. On our recent visit, service was uncharacteristically poor. We got lost between servers. Other tables came and went while we waited for our second appetizers after which there was a long gap before the rest of the meal arrived - and then only after composing to the manager and server. Disappointing.
