Great food, beer, heated outdoor patio! Thanks lots.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and was a great spot to eat before Bulls game
Fun, casual place to hangout with friends!
Went to watch the Football game on their patio and have brunch at noon. No one on the patio and a handful of people inside.
The game was on the tv but they said they could not turn on the tv sound outside only music. We asked if we could move to another table to be closer to the tv and they said no that table is set for 6 … huh there’s no one here and you can separate the tables. We asked if they had the game audio on inside and they said no they don’t do that.
Asked if there was an Oktoberfest beer she would recommend and she didn’t have any suggestions.
We had one beer and left. Too bad would have nice to try the food and sit out with a few beers.
I get they are not a sports bar but to be so unfriendly and uncompromising to customers seemed really odd.
I guess that explains why it was empty on a beautiful day.
Won’t return. Nice beer list. Huge patio.
Birthday, great experience
Loud loud loud. Food was not good. Service? Well if a waitress running by and throwing a full bottle of wine on your table without opening it….not in a cooler…and 2 wine glasses with water in the bottom of them…is good service.? Then this place is for you!
Came here after a Bulls preseason game. The beer selection is awesome and the staff is always cheerful and helpful. Will be back again!
service and food were great
Awesome server, good came out quickly, great food! We will be back!
Our waitress was extremely rude. We had a large party of people and a couple people came late and ordered a few drinks at the bar. The waitress saw this and immediately closed out our tab. We paid and the waitress rudely tossed the credit cards back at the two people that split the bill aggressively and walked away. I usually love coming here but after tonight I will think twice about making another reservation.
Great food, great music with Tom on September 30th. The server was super sweet and gave us great recommendations. Bacon wrapped dates were awesome. The schnitzel sandwich and gaucho sausage sandwiched were very good. The only wrinkle on the experience was that I added on the OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and there was no mention of this even as we ordered dessert and I was expecting a little candle or something. The other wrinkle was the rude attitude of the hostess as we walked out and we say thank you and she looked at us and didn't even acknowledge us... But overall it was a great place, awesome music, and delicious food.
Kaiser Tiger never disappoints. Fantastic spot all around- food, drinks, service and atmosphere. You guys rock- thank you for being such a stable and consistent go-to.
I wish they would accept separate checks (like that’s did in the beginning) or at least accept cash payment.
Good food, good service, friendly and casual atmosphere with an excellent beer selection.
It was a bit strange there
We were informed upon arrival, “A reservation doesn’t guarantee you a table.” Huh?! Isn’t that literally the purpose of a reservation?
They should probably email when people make reservations that they don’t have a shuttle to the United center anymore since that’s why most people go before events there
We had a great time and enjoyed some great beer and food. Their outdoor patio is big and can fit a lot of people while still maintaining a safe distance between tables.
The aioli with the fries was nasty but love Kaiser tiger!!!!
Fun surprise; great German inspired food and excellent beer and cocktails!
Tina is an excellent waitress. Loved Rick King and Vance Kelly and the whole band. Best french fries!
The Happy Gaucho at Kaiser Tiger
A weeknight dinner with friends at Kaiser Tiger is always a blissful moment. Particularly, when you order the Happy Gaucho, which is a spicy Argentinian chorizo with guacamole and sour cream. Personally, I love to add their pickled red onions for additional texture and acid, which makes this a jovial bite. Here the sausage is served alongside a sausage & cheese board and a beverage. What can I say — happy times! Delectable!
It was a fun time! I really enjoy the atmosphere and it was great. My only thing was I felt like I was an idiot if I ordered something… like “it wasn’t the style.” That’s all, it was cool the service was great. I just think you know, asking any sort of question isn’t necessarily stupid…. Didn’t know the lowkey atmosphere was that snobby………
Waitress was so rude
No outdoor games like advertised - fair due to COVID but would've been nice to have this advertised/stated on the website. We had something like 5 waiters during our 2 hour stay - never knew who to talk to when trying to order another drink. No one seemed very happy to be there, a bit of a friendlier attitude would have been a nice addition
Always a great experience.
Plus Bacon the Kaiser cat was there (as usual!)
Because of an overnight rain forecast, the roof was closed and so were the back doors. It was warm an extremely humid on the patio. That was rough.
The food, beverage and service are exactly what you want and expect! I’m looking forward to returning again soon.
We loved it. The back patio is huge and nice and spread out plus there is not loud music playing so you can enjoy your conversation. The wait staff was super sweet and attentive. We went for lunch on a lazy Saturday and stayed for 4 hours enjoying drinks and a variety of plates we shared. Great burger and salad!
Our server Rachel was amazing!! There was quite an array of different dishes offered all quite good. As diverse menu so was the people dining. But telling us after we eat and drink they don’t take cash was stupid at least inform us that your still using protocols from when covid was in place. Eventually people will realize those protocols should be in the past. Overall Cool place to hang and ask for Rachel she rocks!!! Say hello to the Cat!!!
I’ve been to Kaiser tiger before and had a wonderful experience which is why I went back. My cousin and I wanted to sit outside. We had two choices, The front with a few wood benches and tables or the back with many more tables and chairs. The back was much more put together and a live band was playing. It reminded me of my days going to bars with live music. It was profoundly loud and was not amenable to anything other than shouting conversation. Even if not talking, it was still very loud for the enjoyment of food. We opted for the front and could still hear the music quite well. The problem with the front: wait service was excluded. We had to go to the bar to order our own drinks, food, then dessert. It wasn’t made clear to my cousin to leave an open tab and we ended up paying for all three parts of the service separately. Somehow, the kitchen staff didn’t take it upon themselves to separate our appetizers from our main course and they were all brought together. While I would think from my long experience in dining that they would automatically be separated, no one had the wherewithal to even ask. My dinner ended up getting cold. A minor issue, our plates were not removed in between dinner and dessert. Together, we contemplated the concept of tip. Should one tip the same with no wait service. Being that we had to go back-and-forth to the bar to order everything, we both thought yes. I did not pay for the first two portions of the meal but when I went to get dessert, I noticed that 20% was automatically marked off. My friend said he would never go back for this kind of service. The food remain good although I thought the appetizers were pricey for what we got. My cheeseburger was just fair but that may have had something to do with it temperature.
Outdoor space was perfect and service was timely.
Food and drinks were great. Nice space, good music. Server seemed to think we were just there for drinks and hardly ever checked in on us, so we had to wait a while just to put our food order in. Would return but hopefully the tall gentleman checks in more often on his tables in the future.
Got the veggie stew. Came on a 1 inch deep plate. Had little flavor. Don’t get it. Beer was good though.
Great place! Hopefully bocce comes back soon! Great drinks.
Great German pub food.
Food and service were both very poor. Would not recommend going to this place.
Good German-inspired food, nice atmosphere however staff not very enthusiastic to serve
Great service and great food. Go hungry, portion sizes are big. Try the bacon wrapped dates, they are awesome!
