Kaiser Grille - Palm Springs Ratings and Reviews
There is really nothing much I can say about our lunch. The Chicken Alfredo was bland as the chicken was dry and pasta tasteless. For the $$$ it was not worth it. Better to go across the street to Lulu's where we have always enjoyed the food and lively atmosphere.
This was a most pleasant surprise. As we passed it on our way to the parade, it didn't look very welcoming but once we got there the staff couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. The service was superb, drinks delightful and the food...YUM! The happy hour menu is just as enticing as the regular menu. If you need a quick eat or to get out of the sun and have a cool drink, I highly recommend the Kaiser Grille - Palm Springs.
On the 4 day visit to Palm Springs ate here for a lunch and a dinner before the Sunday lunch reservation, which I am rating now. On the prior 2 visits I would have given an "Excellent" for both "Overall" and "Service" but that Sunday brought the rating down. Sunday I ordered a draft beer - by the time it came it was no longer as cold as I like my beer. 2 friends' ice teas along with all our waters didn't seem to get filled again in a timely matter (was quite the delay on the teas coming the 1st time) .... 1 in the party actually went to find a busboy as to tip him for re-fills. I did ask for some bread to go along with my salad, which I never got. Maybe on an event weekend they will increase the staff to accommodate the crowd.
Kaiser has a fantastic location however they miss they mark a little on menu options and food flavor. They don’t need a menu as large as Lulu but it would be nice to have more options on the lighter side. It also wouldn’t hurt to have a little extra herb/spice added to some of the dishes.
Very very disappointed !
The table was a big table ! It was 6 of us but we got. table for 10 ! We couldn't talk and party never came together because if size of the table.
My Blue cheese burger was awful. VERY dry , The bread was awfully dry, just a little cheese .
We actually went here twice. The location makes it a perfect spot. The outdoor dining is a bit elevated so you can really get a good view to people watch. The service is outstanding. The food is good to very good in our opinion, the drinks are very good too. This is a FUN place!
Extremely slow service. Waiter mentioned they were short 3 waiters who were on vacation to Mexico. Several tables around us were complaining about not getting parts of their orders. I'll give them another chance someday because I like the variety of their menu items.
A cool spot on the strip with a decent variety of choices from Rib Eye to Ahi Tuna. The kids burger was good as well for our kids although the bun is a little thick. Had a nice atmosphere but the seats outside are plastic and can be uncomfortable for older folks. A little over priced but still a good night.
Sure it's loud, everyone is having a great time, indoors or out.
The food was ok. I had the fixed price 3-course, choosing the ceasar salad, stuffed sole ( not on main menu) and creme brulee. He ordered the split cut pork chop, which, though delicious, a bit over cooked. Be sure you ask them take it off a tad early.
The sole was ok. The bread, which showed up after our salads, was fab.
Unless they were having an off night, skip the flourless chocolate almond cake. Dry. Creme brulee? Nothing out of the ordinary.
It's a fun place with ok food. It's all about the atmosphere. Sit on the patio...enjoy.
I have been going to the Kaiser Grille for years, and every now and then I take advantage of the early bird specials, which are an incredible value. This is American cuisine at it's finest. I had the prime rib this time, deliciously prepared, and the service was excellent. At 5:30 the business was slow, but picking up as we left. Don't pass this one up.
Our last night in Palm Springs and it was a street fair/party. Kaiser Grill is right in the heart of the action and a fun place to dine. There is plenty of outdoor seating and on a balmy autumn night it was perfect. We had salads - Asian Chop with chicken and also Roasted Beets with arugula and blue cheese. We also got a pizza...black mission figs with brie cheese. Yum. We washed it down with a couple of Texas Mules...(Tito's and ginger beer).
