Kaiser Grille - Palm Springs
We gladly accept reservations. Patios are request only.
Food did not live up to the price. But service was good, it's an attractive dining room, and the location is good. Possibly a little touristy.....
Cocktails and food were low quality. Many menu items are higher priced over other nearby restaurants. Seems this place caters more to the tourists and not concerned about local or repeat business. Wouldn't recommend it.
Kaiser Grille is consistently very good. The wait staff pays attention to your needs without being intrusive. The menus gives you an excellent selection of choices. Never disappointed here!
Bday party with 7 friends. Havent been here for awhile. Happy Hour 3-5 and apps on a hot afternoon after massages. Great Bartender Fred, great apps, lots of fun. Really, best HH in PS. Thanks!
Food was so bland and overpriced. Very disappointed as there were plenty more options for dining, I feel like I blew it dining at Kaiser Grille. The name says it all.. it taste like food you would be served at a hospital.
Location very nice, easy parking. Server was knowledgeable and very very attentive to our needs. Had a good experience on my birthday. Did think I would get a free dessert though
I took a party of 9 to celebrate Grandma's 60th Birthday. Service was excellent the young man who was our waiter did a great job especially with the wine selection. Everyone was please with their dining selection. I think their Hanger Steak is the best for taste and value! Thanks
Good service and food. My husband ordered the encrusted ahi tuna and it was amazing. I loved my crab cake and wedge salad.
Great food great service
the food and service were great however the people next to us had a loud child!
yes, yes, we all would definitely recommend the Kaiser Grille restaurant to our friends who love good food and friendly service. from the moment we entered we felt welcome, we were greeted by a wonderful matre'd, then our waiter (his name was Sam?? wow, i should never have forgotten him, he was wonderful) was warm, answered ALL questions without showing any impatience. he even helped us with choosing the appropriate bottle of red wine, duckoy (again, forgotten the exact name!).
our food was sooo good, i had the rib-eye and i could cut it with my fork! all 4 of us enjoyed the meal, and our environment. it was our second time going to Kaiser Grille for Fathers Day, we drove from Los Angeles, i am hoping to return in late July,, when we will be in Palm Springs again.
I’m someone who eats out everyday. The food was very poor especially for the price.
Boy did I mess up! I arrived a day early for a lunch reservation.. Lucky that they were not busy and I was able to be seated! We had sandwiches and drinks... Tasty and good.. French Fries were also wonderful!
Sat down with family. There were 5,6 tables occupied in entire restaurant. Busser came over with the waters after 2 minutes. Waiter didn’t not come over for 20 minuets. No one ever acknowledged us after we received the waters. After the water came he was in a hurry. Didn’t not take time for us. It was 3:55pm and i asked if I could order from early bird menu that starts at 4pm. He said just simple NO. After we placed the order the food did come within 13-15 minutes. After we received the food we were there for another 50 minutes and waiter only came back once. And the last time he came was with the check to present to us.
Food was decent. Price was good. Service was terrible. Definitely not going back to Palm Springs location for a while till service improves. Palm Desert Kaiser has far better service.
it was my sister's birthday and we sat outside, it was wonderful our server Julio Diaz was a delight joking with us as we were also joking with him, we both had a fish dish and it was yummy.... we come to Palm Springs thru out the year and we have been at Kaiser Grille before and it never disappoints
These guys are really struggling. I want to give them a better rating, but the management team seems to be a huge problem running this establishment. After booking my reservation here on OpenTable and arriving to the restaurant and having the host tell me they did not have a reservation under my name, I showed them my OpenTable confirmation. They looked absolutely confused, and finally somebody said, "hold on we will find you a table." After being seated among utter chaos at the host stand, I received a phone call on my cell from an employee, Cameron, telling me I had a reservation and was wondering if we were coming. I said, "we are here and we’ve have seated." He said, "oh, never mind." It's a holiday weekend, multiple tables open (inside and outside) and so many people standing around waiting to be seated. And the host was absolutely clueless trying to resolve the chaos. Get it together Kaiser, or let another reputable establishment take this great space over to offer a better restaurant and consumer experience.
Very reliable and high quality American food restaurant, with modern, handsome furnishings and a varied menu of well-prepared and presented favorites. Very popular.
Food is always good
Great service and fabulous food. Had to wait a few times to get the waiters attention for drinks but all in all a great dining experience.
Ambiance was great, the servers were very attentive but the food was a bit lack luster. We were all so excited about the menu options, and some really enjoyed the food, but not all entrees were that good. A few of us tried the Mediterranean branzino special (filleted) and we really wanted to like it, but I think it was trying too hard to be something special. None of the flavors really popped. We all liked the mashed potatoes but I think that was the only part of anyone's meal that we could all agree on.
Always good food and an enjoyable experience.
My meal was okay but up to the usual quality. It was obvious that our table was being rushed to finish for some reason. Though there were a number of empty tables, it seemed odd staff brought out meals before appetizers were finished and cleared dishes in a hurry while others were eating. The bill arrived with a speed that indicated dinner was indeed a rush job.
Great patio dining. Sea bass meal was delicious. Prices were on the high end. Service was fairly prompt. Would return for a special occasion.
Great food. Quick service. Good value for cost. Great sitting on patio watching the VillageFest
Picked this place at random from Google but definitely a good pick! It's on the ritzier side and a little expensive but really great service and even better food. The steaks we ate were divine and cooked perfectly. The desserts were great and the produce was obviously fresh. Definitely recommended.
The best part of my experience was how friendly the Valet and Waiter were. The waiter was great but the other waiters are careless and the food was disappointing.
Wow! The food at Kaiser Grille in Palm Springs was wonderful! The special soup, lobster bisque, was delicious and the chicken pasta Alfredo was out of this world. Service was smooth and quick. Cocktails were good.
Very loud. Food average. Service great
Good place to eat and people watch in Palm Springs.
The food was delicious our server was great it’s not a quiet restaurant which is fine because there’s six of us so we could deal with that it was fun because it was Thursday night and the big they call it a farmers market or craft market was going on right there we opted to sit inside it was great the food was really really delicious. Try the hanger steak with fries and béarnaise really delicious my halibut was cooked perfect absolutely not one complaint.
Amazing food and great service. Can’t wait to go again
Overall pretty good experience. My friends end and I were mistakenly served the wrong dishes but they quickly remedied the situation. Among our party of four we got the bacon wrapped shrimp, the cheese board, the halibut, and the lobster ravioli. All were delicious. For dessert we had the creme brulee ....it was good but definitely a heavier custard, and the mango sorbet which was excellent. Overall we enjoyed the food and ambiance and we would definitely eat here again
100° in April and the restaurant barely had any air conditioning on inside. The server door to patio was left open next to our table and when we asked if the AC could be cooler they said “No, not really, it’s a really warm day and we couldn’t keep up with it”
You have how ever many thousand tourists visiting, not used to the heat, and they can’t keep it cool for their guests to enjoy their dinner?
It was cooler outside with the misters on but nothing available. Reservations didn’t really help with seating choice.
Staff not attentive at all.
Mediocre food and terrible service. We ere a table of 5 put at a table for 4. We asked for another table or add a table and were told no. I do not recommend this restaurant and will never eat there again, better options in the area.
The host and our waiter (Ernastino?) couldn’t have been more wonderful. So accommodating and so attentive. The food was delicious!! We celebrated my birthday and it was a truly enjoyable birthday dinner.
Great value fix price menu
I would recommend this to a friend only if they could take the heat ,because I love to sit outside. Also make sure that their wallet was full, nothing inexpensive here.
The evening started by the maître d' telling us we couldn’t sit on the patio because of only one wait staff there. Then 10 mins later he sat people where we wanted to sit. I ordered the Sea bass. First bite had a strong ammonia taste. The server was great at dealing with it. I re ordered the NZ Rack Lamb. Being from NZ (growing up on a sheep farm) I am dubious that this was actually from NZ as it was very bland in taste and think it was more like Nth American lamb. Overall very disappointing meal.
Best ribs in Palm springs
