Excellent service and ambiance. The food was not bad, but a little pricey.
Valentines night is busy in town but they got us in no problem. Pre fixed menu was solid. Great value and food met excepectationd. Service was great! I wish I remembered her name but she was great. I believe she is currently engaged if that helps.
My husband and I love this place, and we had come to celebrate Valentines here for 3 years now, we always chose this place over Mastros and LGs because the quality of the food is amazing, therefore, this time we left dissapointed, our server ( never seen him before) was not to attentive, I understand it was busy, but we are easy custimers, he took for ever to take our wine bottle order, we have to ask the busser to advise the server we were ready to order since the wine was almost over, the salads took like 35 mins to arrive and the food another 30-40 minutes... i was so upset because our reservation was at 7:30 and we were the last table to leave, every time we go there we always order cappuccinos and obviously by the time we finished the machine was "turned off and cleaned" honestly I will come back because we love the place, but definitely chose a different server.
Our server Haily was great, she answered our questions, tended to our needs. The pace at which we were served was timed well. Will be back.
Reservations for 2, we’re not ready, after being taken through the entire restaurant, hostess placed us in the bar in front of the TV sets.
Food was recooked as delivered semi raw. People bumped into our table 3 times. Very disappointing meal. Seemed more like a cafeteria. $190 paid for overcrowded noisy cafeteria. We will never go back. We felt slighted in every way. Does not compare in any way to the competition. Would turn down a free meal.
Lobster ravioli was outstanding as was the pork chop! Very comfortable booths...private and spacious!
Disappointing!! Food was not special. Sides boring. Steak very small and very fatty!! Not worth the money!!! Forgot to bring our drinks. Not a very nice birthday celebration!!!
Manager went out of his way to get our large group together. Thanks
While the ambience and service was exceptional. The food was just okay and since the prices are fairly high we were very disappointed.
My husband had a New York Strip, which i tasted and while it was cooked to order and tender and juicy it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. My husband remarked on this and i did not believe him until i tasted it and found that he was correct. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to order but just okay.
Again the service was perfect and the ambience was lovely but the food was just so-so and we will not be returning. Too many other terrific places in Palm Desert area to settle for so-so.
We ate here prior to going to a concert at the nearby McCallum Theater. Dinner was very good. The Artichoke Soup was exceptional. The bread basket was warm and the bread was very nice. Entrees: Hanger Steak was really good as was the Tuna. Two of us had the salmon and while the salmon was very good, the mix of brussels sprouts, riced cauliflower, bacon etc it was on didn't really work well. It needed the bacon to be in larger chunks and a bit more flavor as both sprouts and cauliflower can be bland. It probably was just a personal preference thing and next time I'll order the Hanger Steak!
We tried the cheesecake and the Chocolate lava cake for desert. Both were very good. We'll go back.
everything we had except the beet salad was horrible! sent my ribs back and got a steak and that was not even good. will never return!
The negatives..the place was very cold..folks even went to their cars to get a jacket. We waited 45 minutes for our food..and the 18percent tip should be mentioned when one tips again. My friend who treated us mentioned the tip came to $38.00 for a under $75.00 bill..
The food was great.. also the bread. The noise level was very high. My fault for booking on a weekend nite during the season. VS PS..hubby adds all of the above, cold, noise and long wait, did not contribute to a pleasant dinner as we have had in the past..He felt the kitchen staff was having problems that nite..
Party of 8 (some hard-to-please typ) - all were happy with meals, wine choices and service.
Kaiser Grill is a dependable, slightly upscale steak and American food chain which is dependable and enjoyable. Decor is understated but handsome; seating is spacious and comfortable, and the service is attentive and friendly. The quality of the cuisine is above average, but not in the stratosphere. Prices are perhaps a bit high for the experience.
Wonderful you must get the bacon wrapped roasted walnut dates out of this world !!!!
Great food and service. A little loud for fine dining.
We will return on on our next trip.
Pleasant environment. Friendly staff. Good service. Rib eye steak was disapponting. Everything else was fine.
As usual, Kaiser Grill never disappoints. We had the 3-course meal which was a perfect amount of food & allowed us to have dessert. We come to the area once a year and make it a point to come to Kaiser at least once during our stay,
Kaiser Grille is a restaurant we always return to .We like the casual atmosphere and the food and service is always great.
The wait staff was friendly; they brought a birthday card and dessert for my father. The food, however, was disappointing. My steak was over cooked, the side dishes were extremely salty; not really edible. I would have expected better for the price. My husband’s ribs were overwhelmed with sauce and not particularly tender or tasty.
