Kaiser Grille Palm Desert
WINE CELLAR , FULL BAR, ENTERTAINMENT
Fun evening! The interior design was a lovely surprise together with the soft music! Food very tasty! I was dressed for evening dinner but would want to return for an "evening out" with friends or a special occasion! Quite an unknown treasure but not anymore!
Steak was great. So was desert. My wife's prime rib was an end cut because they ran out of anything else. It was not medium, but well done and chewy, not what she expected. The au gratin potato that was supposed to come with the meal was sold out, so they managed to use the a baked potato in it's place, but they were not even sure if they had any baked potato left when they informed her that the au gratin was gone. . We were there at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night.
Great menu, had specials, service and food very good.
A real gem. Food and service were excellent. If you leave hungry, its your own fault. The manager cane by the table three times over the two hour, VERY RELAXED, dinner to ensure we were pleased or if we needed anything.
The place was busy but not overcrowded. We're going back soon.
As always the food was superb and the service was great. If you’re in the area make sure you go there.
Comfortable seating esp. it has many booths. Service is personable and efficient. Food is very good as well as well priced. Enjoy the ambience as well. Also have entertainment.
We love having dinner at Kaiser Grille every time we are in the desert. The service, food, and ambiance are wonderful.
I read the reviews and thought we were going to a really nice restaurant while on vacation. This was nothing less than fair. To start, the bartender (older gentlemen with white mustache) was a complete know-it-all and not super friendly and our drinks were less than stellar. After we were seated our waitress was fine but the food was underwhelming.
The Kaiser Grille was recommended to us by the guest relations person at the place where we were staying. As a special treat for our last night in Palm Desert, I decided to go to the Kaiser Grille. It was a good choice. The whole experience from the greeting and seating upon entry to the very last minute as we were leaving was excellent! The food was extraordinary! I had the artichoke soup (never had it before) which was delicious, the Chilean Sea Bass (which was phenomenally moist and cut like butter!), finishing with the dessert trio, awesome! Had my mom with me. She had the artichoke soup also. Then she had the pan seared sole with ginger rice and green beans which were perfectly cooked and seasoned, finishing with the dessert trio also. The service was excellent! I was very impressed that the manager frequently spoke to guests to make sure they had all they needed and that their experience was a positive one. I like that. This is the kind of restaurant I would frequent every time I visit Palm Desert. In fact, I would drive the distance from my home which is not very far away just to spend an evening dining at the Kaiser Grille. For me and my mom it was a fine dining experience to tell family and friends about. My compliments to their chef.
Thank you Kaiser Grille.
It was a Monday night so it was VERY quiet! Only one other group in there @8pm. Everything was nice, food very good. Waiter very personable and helpful.
We had a great time at the Kaiser Grill! We had our two young boys with us. The kids meals were spot on and the regular menu was awesome. Fish cooked to perfection and the prime rib was great. We will for sure be going back for date night and with the kids.
Wait staff is awesome...shout to Brandi and Paige...food was excellent and well prepared...
T he food was outstanding and the service was very good.
My friend and I were visiting the area at the same time and met for a wonderful meal! The food is great, the service is exceptional! Thank you for a great experience. Other restaurants need to understand this is what customer service is. Making the guests feel welcome. We will be back. 😀
Food was great, everyone friendly. Only issue was the server asked if I wanted bread, she just forgot and then when the cane and get my salad plate buster asked me again for which I said yes. The bread came samebtime as my steak. I still ate it, but would have been nice to have it earlier especially since I was asked and then seemed to have been forgotten. Overall besides that good food!
The restaurant itself was fine, although quite over-priced given the food and ambiance. The big issue I had was that a staff member called me on my cell phone the next day (when I was in the middle of a meeting!!) to ask me to make another reservation and come back in! I consider that telemarketing of the worst kind, and my cell number is on the Do Not Call Registry to keep calls like this from being made to me.
I will never, ever step foot inside this restaurant again.
Awesome service by Jackie. Very lively atmosphere with friendly staff. Excellent prime rib and Ahi Tuna appetizer. Very consistent restaurant. Also a nice touch....they always call the next day to check on your experience and to thank you for dining at the restaurant. One of our favorites in the Coachella Valley.
We went to the Kaiser Grille to celebrate having just completed our daughter’s wedding in San Francisco, which was great but left us exhausted. We had never been here before, and came on gift certificates from a dear friend. Our evening was perfect. The dates wrapped in bacon were a wonderful appetizer. Then I had the beet salad and my husband had the Caesar. Both were very good, but my husband thought his was too large! It could have been because he followed it with a ribeye steak, which again was very good. I had the tortellini primavera in cream sauce. I could only finish half and took the rest home. It was excellent. We both liked that our entrees came very hot; no lukewarm presentations here. The service was also excellent—available but not pushy. There was a woman discreetly performing live music while we were there, and I loved that the air conditioning kept the restaurant at a comfortable temperature without any noticeable drafts of cold air. We will definitely go there again. It’s not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
We had dinner at Kaiser Grill on the 4th of July. We were celebrating a military retirement. The meals were delicious, to say the least. We had mussels (appetizer), cantaloupe gazpacho soup and artichoke soup (very creative), our mail courses were lobster ravioli and a filet mignon...very, very delicious. you won't be disappointed. BTW, when you make your reservation, please ask to sit in Brian's section...he was the best!
Food was delicious, service was wonderful.
We celebrated our anniversary here. My husbands meal, filet and shrimp was very good. My dinner, lobster ravioli was not the best. Pasta was tough and lobster was overdone. Not a good value for the money. Wine was excellent as were the salads. Our server was excellent and attentive.
Bryan was a fantastic server! His attention to detail was great!
Great food and service!!
We have nothing but positive things to say for this restaurant. The food has always been excellently prepared and the taste is exceptional. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Selection of menu choices is great! It's at the top of our list of the many wonderful restaurants to choose from in our area.
Good food, great service. We'll be back.
there is free valet in front of restaurant; food is okay; Nice restaurant, good service with manger walk around to make sure everything is doing okay; I was except better food since it’s not cheap dish;
Really high quality food, great service, excellent value during restaurant week.
Pork chop was amazing. We happen to be in Palm Dessert for their Restaurant Week! Amazing deals. Will be back!
However unfortunate it was to get seated between a bachelor & bachelorette party that were there (they were super obnoxious) our food & server were amazing. The pork chop was incredible & the steak was great as well. Our server Paige was the highlight of our experience though, bright & cheerful, she was very attentive & engaging and most importantly (to me) genuine. Probably the best service I've had in the valley in a long time.
Always enjoy this restaurant. Ate there during restaurant week very very good! Very busy, wonderful selection great service 😊
We came for Restaurant Week an was very impressed. There was no shortage of food.
Kaiser Grille is fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants for several reasons - the food is fresh and good and there is a broad selection of options, the ambience is pleasant , and the corkage fees are fair...but the main reason we love it is for the noise level. Or to be more accurate, the lack of noise. Though there has been live music every time we have been here, you can ask to be seated away from the piano, and once placed on the other side of the restaurant you can actually HEAR your companions and have a good conversation. So many of us have a bit of trouble hearing when there is a lot of ambient noise. I'm so glad that we can have a lovely, quiet dinner together at Kaiser Grille!
Very good food, attentive and pleasant service, enjoyable live music, comfortable upscale atmosphere.
I love the kaiser grill. Not my first or last time here. But it was the first visit for restaurant week. My friend and I sat in the main dining area near bar and piano singer. It was a lovely ambience. Fun but not overly loud. The artichoke soup was gluten free and delicious! The wedge salad was very generous and homemade dressing was delicious. But the star of the evening was the Chilean sea bass. A huge hit. Great martini as well! Highly recommend a visit here or the one in downtown Palm Springs. And as always they called the next day to ensure our meal and experience was good. Never had restaurant do this and it is a great touch!
The owner came by our table twice to make sure everything was exceptional. Great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.
Everything was perfect
Celebrated two birthdays. It was a great evening. Food is always good and the service was spot on.
My husband and I had an outstanding meal. He started with the crab cake which was excellent and made with Maryland blue crab, his favorite. I had the Caprese. The mozarrella was very good, just enough basil. We both had the Chilean sea bass which was to die for. I opted out of the risotto and asked for more veggies. They brought asparagus and broccoli and the sauce over the fish was wonderful. He had the risotto and loved it. I also had 2 Cosmos and they too were very good. Service was excellent. Server very friendly. All the staff gets high marks. Highly recommend this restaurant.
One of our favorites, a go-to place for steaks. Good value too.
