The waiter was very polite but was rushing me and my friend. We sat down and we were trying to take pictures and enjoy the view and we haven’t even looked at a menu or sat down & our waiter was already demanding our drinks and food. When we were eating it felt very rushed and we kept getting bothered. As someone working in a restaurant business you shouldn’t bother your customers more than 4x & should let them settle.

Did not eat there. We left, because there was a noisy private party and eating on the windy lanai was not what we expected. Restaurant should monitor open table reservations and let guests know about such functions. This place is good for lunch with nice view, but do not expect above average food. This would be a nice spot if quality of food and service would be a notch higher.
This was my first try for dinner, but won't be back at night, because it lacks atmosphere.

Brunch offers amazing variety of optional food choices best enjoyed by taking ones time to enjoy the view of the valley. Move from omlets to roast beef with several starch/vegetable choices then multiple salad choices to the table with ten different deserts and lots of fresh fruit. Coffee, OJ or punch included in the single price. Maui locals, we return often

The service was great, the bartender knew our usual cocktail and brought it when we arrived after asking my wife if we would like one. The people there are very nice and genuine just like the food they offer.

Friday night buffet featuring Prime Rib & Crab Legs!! We reserved early to sit outside to enjoy the view. Really nice musician playing guitar & singing quietly enough so we could still talk.

We took our son and his girlfriend who were visiting us in Maui for New Year’s Eve brunch. The reservation process was simple. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was pretty good. It was awesome having live music, which we all enjoyed. The best thing is the beautiful view of central Maui, Ma’alaea Bay, and Haleakalā. We will be back!

One of the better seafood buffets in Central Maui. That being said the buffet has changed and the offerings are not as good as before. The cold section has been cut short with less selections in poke & vegetable salads..........and the desserts were also limited. The hot selections are still good but the crab legs were too thin and hard to break and eat. Less gravy or heavy sauce items would be healthier and best.

Overall, the food is good and being a resident and repeat guest ...it's easy to see the cutbacks and limited selection changes progress since you started this.............Once you've given it's hard to take back and I don't mind paying more if selection and quality are consistently good.......You were once the best seafood buffet in all of Central Maui and more.

Please think about this,

Horrible waitstaff and slow service. Thought view of golf course would be pleasant but kept hearing them mowing the lawns on the course and people talking amongst themselves from their golf carts. Wouldn’t recommend.

We made reservations to have brunch here on Sunday. When we showed up, there was a in appetizing Buffett. It looked so basic and NOT worth $28!! So we left. Newspaper and online AD made it sound good but at first site didn’t look good. Also nobody was there. Dead.

Food on the buffet was excellent and staff was attentive. Crab was perfectly cooked and plentiful. Room was quite loud and more of a cafatetia atmosphere. However, we were seated inside, probably different atmosphere outside? Will likely go again?

We had a wonderful time. The prome rib was superb, and the snow crab legs were surprisingly sweet. Very delicious! We also had some excellent mud pie for dessert even though it was not a part of the dinner buffet. Great service, gorgeous night.

Everythings was good, but we have trouble hearing each other when we are talking due to the loud live music. We all wish it is little-bit softer, so we can talk to each other. Thanks

Can't beat the view. The food, well - prime rib really dry, fried food had been cooked too soon so wasn't crispy. Was there at 5 pm and some of the food was already laid out on the tables but the buffet didn't start until 5:30. Most was not chilled or was lukewarm at best. Sad

The best thing about Kahili is the view. The atmosphere was nice but a little crowded and with heavy staff traffic it was not as relaxed as it could have been. The food was acceptable but not spectacular, and a few more variety of choices in main dish and starches would have been appreciated. The prime rib was well-prepared but it didn't seem to be a particulary good cut of meat. The mashed potatoes were exceedingly bland. The only pasta available had shrimp in it which means my wife can't eat it and I won't.

The staff are friendly but a little too intrusive for my taste. They should learn to recognize a good time to ask how things are and not just jump in and interrupt a conversation as we had happen a couple of times.

Also be aware that while the sign says "$37" they automatically add a service fee to it. With tax it was $96 for two of us.
