Kabuki Japanese Restaurant - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We came to Vegas from CA for our family vacation. We do this every summer. Since both of my "big" kids love Japanese food, we've tried quite a few Japanese restaurants on Vegas Strip, but they are all too expensive, portion is too small, menu is not so simple (in a bad way), and many times they are not so tasty. We love Kabuki here in Southern Cal, so we decided to come here before Cirque show. This is our second year to come back to Kabuki before the show and we're so glad we did! Good food, reasonable price and most of all, very good, speedy service! So sorry we lost the name of our server... She was wonderful!
We had a great time going to Kabuki with our work team. It was a little bit pulled away from he Vegas strip which in turn gave us great pricing and a not so crowded ambiance. We really enjoyed trying many different plates and sharing. The food was excellent, the services was ok. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Sushi is a very classic staple now a days but this restaurant is more creative and gives a modern twist on the classic Japanese food and sushi. It also has exquisite flavors. Definitely recommend the salads as well as the dragon roll and the spicy ramen pasta!
Kabuki is changed, we've visited it 2 years ago. It has been Americanized a little bit. We can now order a selection of sushi. Not to speak ill of it, it was GREAT. Our drinks we're refilled many times as it was very hot outside. We cannot complain about the service, but to nitpick, it was a little slow at times (maybe the weather had an influence on the waiters).
Overall a great place to sample greate sushi!!!
My date and I went twice to the Kabuki at Town Center in Las Vegas. Once for lunch and dinner was a dining pleasure. The vast variety of the menu makes it hard to choose but I think that everyone will find something they will like. The food was prepared and presented in a very pleasing manner. The service was outstanding. Obviously, I recommend Kabuki for all the things above and the ambiance of the restraunt.
Caveat(Went here on a chilly December Monday Date Night.)
The restaurant was lovely, if slightly hard to find since it is tucked into the larger Tivolli complex. Once we found the restaurant, they did not have our reservation on file. Nevertheless, they seated us without any hassle.... and we waited. The restaurant was not crowded and our experience didn't look unique compared to the other patrons. The entire time we're waiting, the 2 doors to the restaurant are opening and closing, causing cold wind to blast into the restaurant. During the summer, I can't help but think it will do the same with hot air.
10-15 minutes later a waitress came to our table to take our drink order and check our ID's.... The seasons turned, girls became lovers that turned into mothers... 10-15 minutes later a different waitress comes to our table and attempts to put down two drinks that aren't ours. She also checks our ID's again. She takes these drinks away but puts down Edamame... which is cold?! I tell the waitress that her Edamame wasn't fully cooked when she comes back 5 minutes later, and she says that cold is how they serve their Edamame (never seen this). Finally the Calamari we ordered shows up, and it's bland. The only redeeming quality is the sauces, which are excellent.
With regard to the food, it was well put together and tasty. If I had to do it again, I'd probably try the bar just order off the sushi menu. Here's hoping you have a better experience.
Have been to the Summerlin (Nevada) location twice.
In both instances, the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
The only negative (and it's a relatively small one) is the demeanor of some of the wait staff. On our last visit, the person who greated us seem a little preoccupied; however, the waitress who served us was very attentive and responsive to our requests.
All and all, though, I would (and I have) highly recommend the restaurant to friends, family and co-workers.
I wish hosts would not sit people w/ kids next to couples trying to have a bday dinner. It never used to be done, now it's always done & couples w/ money are being driven away by noisy brats. Would've stayed longer & had another drink if not for that. We used to get the boat all the time, now we have to try to build one with combos. Should still be offered for special occasions. We love the variety of the boat. Love Kabuki!
When we are tired of all the buffets in Las Vegas, we "always" go to Kabuki to get back to a Healthy meal! The portions are very good, especially the combination plates. I always order the sashimi salad and this time my mom tried the udon yakisoba (very spicy and tasty!)
We always order sushi or sushi rolls to share. It was hot outside so instead of hot green tea, we ordered cold green tea, very refreshing!
I have a frequent dining card with Kabuki and was told I get $25 off my next meal! They also have a birthday special too!
Had a taste for Sushi, so my lady and I went off to Kabuki. Once again we had a sumptuous meal. Sushi and sashimi were their usual excellent quality and taste and well appointed. The tempura and hibachi rice could not be beat. The only drawbacks were a late asparagus appetizer, and the fact that the Miso soup, which came with my meal was missed. Otherwise, Kabuki is worth a trip.
I usually eat at Kabuki twice a month, I have their red mask club card and been happy with Kabuki overall. My 16 year old daughter decided she wanted to celebrate her 17 birthday along with 13 of her closest friends
I made a reservation 7 days prior for Sep 17, I explained Kim who took the reservation there will be a total of 14 teenagers, they all be paying individually. Kim told me I would receive a phone call the morning of to reconfirm but never did, I decided to call and to reconfirm my self!
My daughter and her friends complained of the poor service received. The restaurant offered no customer service to teenagers, the server sat them in separate tables of four when I was told they all will seat together. On top of all, they were told they couldn't pay individually but when each table received the bill, the restaurant had already included the gratuity....can you believe that...Kabuki and staff clearly took advantage of teenagers and spoiled a once in a life time birthday dinner that can't be replace.
You can say good by to my loyalty, and will make sure everyone knows of how Kabuki takes advantage of teenagers.
This was our first visit to the Las Vegas location of Kabuki. It is situated in a large shopping complex and is rather hard to find among the shops and restaurants. The food was very good as it usually is. Our favorites this time were the salmon skin roll, yellowtail roll, and spicy seafood udon pasta which is a soupless udon noodle dish served on a plate with shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels, and clams. As we dined here on Mother's Day, the service was VERY slow. It took multiple requests to get more wine, tea, and water. This location has swankier decor than the ones we have been to in Southern California. We will be back when in Vegas again.
This is a great restaurant. Great food and great service every time we visit. Our server Jason was very friendly and professional. Great selection if Japanese food items. Some must tries include: beef yaki soba, sautéed asparagus, dynamite roll, Alaska roll and spicy tuna salad. Great restaurant for special occasions. We were looking for a solid sushi restaurant in Vegas and found Kabuki on Open Table. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our meal was reasonably priced and very fresh. If you are looking for a kid friendly sushi restaurant in Vegas, you cannot go wrong with Kabuki!
The restaurant was okay with average food and good service. The problem was that they did not call us a taxi and send us on wild goose search for a taxi. It took us 46 minutes in a chilly evening to catch a cab. The driver was surprised that the restaurant did not call for a cab. This completely ruined otherwise good evening
We enjoyed the food however some of the BBQ beef was tough/chewy. they are cut in small pieces but we needed a knife which they did not have. We had to ask where the salmon sushi roll appetizer order was when the dinner was being served...server said its coming. our guest told him
"it should be here before my meal!" He apologized when served. The pieces were cut too big, she
said it should be cut 8 pcs instead of 6.
The seating and ambiance was nice but the noise level was too loud/energetic (due to high ceiling?). Hostesses were very friendly and overall service was very good.
