First time ever going to kabooki and I have to say it was a great experience. The food and atmosphere was great, they did a great job on the remodel very clean and elegant
They have A LOT of kinks to work out regarding the food and the ambience. The server was nice and attentive.
Kimo our waiter really made the night! Fantastic experience and the new dining room is on par with the quality of food you get here!
Im a regular at Kabooki, especially the location on Colonial. I went for the first time after the renovation (which was beautiful- the new layout). I was just disappointed in the service and time. We were a total of 3 people and each person received a roll 20-30 minutes before the next person. So by the time we actually ate, our food was cold. And the servers didn’t seem apologetic at all.
We went last night and it was “All That!!!” Sunday offers Chef’s Ramen. Enjoyed the salmon belly and oysters too. Chef Henry has redesigned the place and it blew our socks off! Grateful he chose to keep this location...dazzling after dark. The service is excellent too. Wonderful GM and Server.
Henry has done it again! Through a pandemic he has easily doubled the size of the OG colonial location. The food is on point and I am so happy this location is open again.
We had an awesome dinner. Tracy our server was amazing. She knows the menu really well and offered great suggestions. Because of her personality and knowledge she made the dinner an incredible evening. We will be coming back.
Love the sushi ! And love how the plates are tapas style, my ultimate favorite were the ribs !!!!!! It’s in the appetizer section.
Came here for boyfriend’s birthday on Wednesday - service was fast, food was delicious & our server was very nice!
Great dinner super happy to have this gem open and done with their remodel.
Modern, appropriately lit so you can see your food and surroundings, clean, great menu for old faves and also for experimenting new flavors and combinations. I usually only have had a variety of sashimi here and I must say the moriawase sashimi this time was a good choice of white fish, scallop, sea urchin and a few other chefs choices. My favorite dish is the seared tuna rolled in crispy rice pearls dressed with a sort of foam accompaniment and radish garnish. Edamame was prepared steamed with simple sea salt but next time I’ll try it tossed in garlic oil or dressed with kimchee like our waiter suggested. The star of my dinner was a sangria type cocktail they offer called Through The Grapevine made with sparkling sake, cassis, grapefruit, aperol and rosé...was a sneak up on you kind of thirst quenching delight. Of course I ate and drank too much to include dessert but that will be my next visit as well as Sundays are when Ramen is offered on the menu - that will be my next review. My tip is to check out the IG page and website for the menu and pictures of the dishes. I am a visual eater and I enjoy perusing the menu before I hit a spot. Also, I show the waiter pics from their IG when I order, it just helps me to make sure I get what I intended to eat there for. Best reservation time is 5pm-6:30pm then they fill up pretty quickly and it gets a bit noisy with all the other patrons enjoying. There was music turned on for ambiance but I hoped for something instrumental and electronic to match the vibe however it was outdated 90s R&B and grunge. I’m a fan of front of house mgmt who have an ear for modern, eclectic house beats with a hip hop twist but I don’t think it was their priority. All else, in terms of service and quality of food is remarkable here. A place that runs so tight and smoothly that I didn’t get distracted by one thing going wrong or not to my liking is really something to be said. Kimo was a phenomenal server!
Perfection from beginning to end!
If you're looking for excellent food, top notch service, beautiful atmosphere, look no further. Best restaurant.
The food was delicious, cocktails on point and the service was 5 stars. The remodel was worth the wait.
Kabooki has always been our go to sushi place and with the new remodel it is better than ever! The food is always top notch and the fish is fresh and flavorful. Can’t forget the sushi rolls, a unique and a staple of the restaurant. The staff is always friendly and on top of their game. Kabooki sushi continues to impress!
Kabooki Sushi Eastside has reopened with a flourish. Incredible remodel and expansion has brought a new fresh ambiance with more seating, a beautiful bar area (now featuring full liquor service) and separate sushi bar along with the outstanding and innovative cuisine which has made Chef Henry Moso a James Beard nominee and one of the finest sushi/asian food chefs in the US and certainly the best in Orlando. Adding some interesting mixology cocktails, a great wine a sake list to an already incredible menu and outstanding service team (ask for Christina) has made our favorite hidden gem of a location east of Downtown even that much better. Chef Henry sources the freshest sushi grade fish around (do not miss the Bluefin sashimi tasting) along with melt in your mouth A5 Waygu beef nigiri. Everything on the regular menu is outstanding but don't ignore the specials card as that is often where Henry and his culinary team shine even brighter. Proud to be regulars from almost the beginning and loving this next version of Kabooki Eastside.
First time, amazing everything. We can’t wait to go back!
We went for the soft reopening of Kabooki for my fiancé’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was delicious, service on point, and the place looks amazing!! Congratulations on the expansion! Thank you Chef Henry!! 😀 10/10 will be back!!!!
Our favorite restaurant in town. We’ve never had a dish we wouldn’t recommend! The new build out is beautiful and service is always amazing. Highly highly recommend!
Our waitress was really good but did not wear her mask appropriately
Best unique sushi dining experience in Orlando. The quality of the food is always outstanding.
Me and the hubby ran across Kabooki about a year ago. We love it! Creative Asian inspired food. Great and knowledgeable staff. Make reservations, small place fills up fast.
Great experience as usual thank you staff and chefs
Really enjoyed the appetizer and the sushi rolls. Felt a bit cramped in the current Covid environment.
Tremendous spot and food for date night. The quality is represented with a decent price, but well worth it!
The best sushi I have had anywhere! A bit pricey, but you get the best!
Love the food and service here.
Would like my points rewarded for dining
Amazing / Best Sushi in Orlando
They’re the best! Favorite spot to go for dinner- all servers & chefs are so nice & the sushi is spectacular!
Food is delicious and the staff is very nice. A little bit pricey but is good food so nothing to complaint about it.
So amazing. Our fav sushi place ever. Amazing chefs and servers. Food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Atmosphere is so fun.
FANTASTIC!!!!!! Best Sushi Restaurant In Orlando!!!
Glad to be back!! Great as always.
Great to see everyone enjoying this great venue, safely
The food was phenomenal! Garlic Kimchee edamame was something that we have never tried before and it was incredible. The spicy ribs were also amazing and the sushi was on par with what you would expect! My only complaint was that the sushi was a little overpriced. We’re talking on average around $13-$15 per roll. (6 sushi pieces). BUT I would honestly come again for the quality food and service!!
We had such a great experience. It was so nice to enjoy going out to a restaurant. All of the staff was amazing. Cleaning everything the entire time we were there. We felt very safe. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious and very unique. We will be back and have recommended that all of our neighbors also check this place out.
