The Kabab Curry of India restaurant is a casual restaurant serving traditional Indian dishes with an all-you-can-eat buffet as well. The restaurant is open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday (11:30am to 10:00pm) and you can also make reservations over here. The Kabab Curry of India restaurant has a casual ambience, ensuring that it is a good place to go with kids and with large groups.
It is a good place to have lunch and dinner, while they only serve beer and wine at their bar. Popular dishes on the menu at Kabab Curry of India are the papdum, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer and garlic naan. The butter chicken and Paneer Makhni are worth the try, while the all you can eat lunch buffet offers great diversity in Indian dishes. The service is fast, and the waiters are extremely polite and friendly as well.
Ordered a meal for two which comes with dessert. Girlfriend was hungry so we said we will ask for the dessert later. Later comes and I ask for the dessert that comes with the meal. He hands us a dessert menu and mumbled something and smiles. I think we choose a dessert. Later I see I am billed for the dessert. Complain to manager about the lack of compitence the waiter has. No tip and no repeat business.
Food is very good but service is 5 stars. We were offered more naan, refills and friendly "is everything ok" numerous times during our meal. We asked if there were kababs for the buffet today and told not today then server ( I think owner) had one made for us- we really appreciated the personal "touch"
After experiencing some truly great Indian in the Bay Area, I was surprise to find this hidden gem in the Rolling Hills Plaza. I didn't realize lunch was served buffet style... but the selections were plentiful/filling enough for lunch.
Since we arrived just after opening, the meat [chicken] was tender & moist; on the second round (about 25 minutes later), I felt the meat was a bit tough & dry.
I highly recommend the following: veggie samosas (flaky/buttery-like crust with a savory filling & hit with just the right amount of spices; awesome by itself or with some chutney); freshly baked garlic naan (they even allowed us to bring some extra home for our daughter); onion bhaji; chicken tikka masala; kheer (LOVE Indian rice pudding!)
Went for lunch buffet just before 2PM- NOT a good time to go. Buffet pans were empty or almost empty and they only partially filled a few pans and left some empty. Buffet was all pulled by 2:45 and the buffet is suppose to be available till 3:00:( I will go again but make sure to get there no later than 1:00
My first time coming here and we loved the selection in the lunch buffet. Service was excellent
