Everything about our meal was perfect. What more can you say?
First time here. Great food portion and presentation. Atmosphere pleasant and distancing was excellent. Would plan to come back. Had noted anniversary on booking, but never acknowledged during the meal. Small flaw made up by the test of the dinner
Great place, great experience, awesome food.
I’ll definitely try to go back!
Food is amazing the finest ingredients!
We love it
Last night in Maui, Spectacular hotel and grounds. We loved the compressed watermelon; chef was kind enough to come out and talk to us. Octopus and big eye tuna were also well prepared and delicious.
The wine list is great, albeit VERY expensive. Service was ok but should have been much better.
We really loved the food and atmosphere.
The food and the wine were excellent. And the service provided by John was phenomenal. We plan to go back again soon.
Our dinner was amazing! We went with a larger group - all ordered different drinks and food items - everything was beautiful and delicious. The only downside was our waiter who didn't seem to want to be there / like some of the menu items when asked for recommendations. We would still go back, though :)
Service was terrible, food was terrible, very limited selection of food
We love the food at Ka’ana kitchen and we dine here every year Did not know it was a prix fix menu for NYE. Did not say that when I booked on open table or anywhere on the menu. . Bill was $500+ just for dinner no alcohol. Nowhere was that out on any menu. Totally not worth it. Very disappointed.
The service, scenery and food cannot be beat. Be prepared for small pours and small portions. Otherwise delightful.
The food choices were minimal. Very expensive - the first course (salads) were no less than $19 plus.
Service and setting was awesome.
Such an amazing restaurant! It is located inside a beautiful hotel, too (Andaz). We will be back!
Thank you for our Christmas Breakfast.
Love that you are open.
Looking forward to the breakfast buffet coming back.
Server was amazing, host was bored and not paying attention.
Space was very nice, but I could see that it will be much noisier when the COVID distancing ends
Food was not as good as the reviews.
The pear was left out of the Asian pear salad and the greens were “sad”, fish was good but barely warm
John the waiter was amazingly informative regarding all things Maui, not just the menu. He filled us in all all the other good local
Spots and joints we asked about. My kids loved the swordfish with the soy vinaigrette. The deck outside was appropriate for Covid and music, lighting, I’ve was very cool. Cool resort for sure. Drinks were tasty, and service all around was class. Nice options on menu as well.
Loved it! The pork belly moco is off the charts good. Great service from Elijah.
Everything from the food to the ambiance was exceptional
Edit: Also just remembered the plastic glasses our cocktails came in. Also below expectations for $19 cocktails.
Made Ka'ana reservations through OpenTable just like all other restaurants now, no problem. Expected to get wowwed based on the reviews and location (Andaz!), and was pretty disappointed.
Basically, I'm okay with the amount we spent on a dinner for two, but I didn't like feeling like a customer at McDonald's. The food was good - but too expensive for the portions, especially the appetizers.
The customer service wasn't BAD, it was just appropriate for fast food. The server wasn't around, there were no menu explanations, at one point I spent 5 minutes sweating a shishito pepper I ate whole (I'm an idiot) because there was no warning against not eating part of my $65 dish.
At the expense of sounding like a snob, I'm just saying - don't come here for dinner unless you're someone that's cool losing a big pot in 10/20 hold 'em. If 2/5 is more your style, stay away and go to Longhi's.
We were hotel guests and decided to give this on site restaurant a try. A beautiful setting, eating outside with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Very uncrowded due to Covid, but the service was surprisingly slow. We waited a long time for our food. We were very surprised at how high the prices were and how small the servings were. Basically we had a few small pieces of octopus in our small plate starter and about eight small slices of steak in our large plate selection that cost $63.
Small menu superbly executed. The cocktails were incredible. Sophisticated and chill.
Our group had three different appetizers and three different entrees. Everything was amazing. The tuna and snapper really stood out as well as the hanger steak app.
Food way too expensive for the small amount served... too hot in building and took too long to serve
Service and view were great. Food was good but nothing amazing. Expensive for what it is
Excited that Ka'ana Kitchen has reopened! It is just as good as ever!
Had a wonderful meal. My favorite was the Thai beef salad. I had it for my main meal. Would order again and again. Delicious!
Great wine list. Decent cocktails.
Everything was terrific as usual. I was disappointed to hear the breakfast buffet isn’t back yet, but the breakfast menu was awesome. And Luke, our server is terrific.
Nice atmosphere outside with a great view of the Maui sunset. Food was good, but not exceptional; for the price we were expecting exceptional.
This is our new favorite restaurant! We dream about our next visit! Food quality and service are amazing. Small servings with the perfect blend of fresh veggies and farm to table proteins.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were welcomed by the hostess and seated immediately. Our server, JD, was extremely helpful when describing the menu and different food options and very amicable. The food was phenomenal as were the drinks that JD recommended based on our alcohol preferences. Overall, the experience was great and we will definitely be back to dine here again!
The restaurant was very good but didn’t rank high amongst our dining experiences. The service however was outstanding! Chris was our waiter and I think Archer maybe was the mixologist. They were by far the best staff we experienced while at the Andaz and made the dinner much more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been.
The watermelon salad was too salty, the pineapple cake too dry and the ambiance of the restaurant just ok.
A little pricey but it is Maui. Food was awesome. Service was awesome. Would definitely eat there again.
The food and cocktails were delicious and our server Carlie was outstanding. Would eat here again without a second thought!
Food was great. Service was HORRIBLE. We asked our server about the mini menu and he said "You figure it out." We had to find other servers to serve us or help us as ours was no where to be found at times. We gave this feedback to the manager... so we hope other people have a better experience than us. I wouldn't go back.
Great time
We were so disappointed and were so excited for a special evening! Our service was curt, unfriendly, but efficient. The octopus app was tasty but the fresh catch dinner was very dry. It was my birthday and the table near us got a special candle. The other entree we choose was the tenderloin - tasty but a teeny tiny portion. We had the coconut ice cream dessert which was good, no acknowledgement of our celebration. We spent a great deal for a dinner for two as a special treat. There was absolutely nothing special about this evening, except our own company and the beautiful surroundings.
Very nicely done. Excellent local product integration into menu. Need to update Open Table and online menu to reflect current menu. Good wine options and novel cocktail mixology.
A unique menu with quality food and an amazing view to enjoy a picturesque sunset.
Very nice. The wine list was extensive but quite expensive.
Large noisy and service not great!
Great experience and value for money, always a positive surprise
