   Always good food and nice sunset views from the outdoor seating. Watermelon salad is unique, really delicious. Don't miss it. Service is attentive and super-friendly; Carlie always makes us feel welcome and at home. Consistent help from someone like her who can help plan dinner and drinks to suit your tastes, visit after visit, keeps us coming back.

   The food was very good! We had the watermelon salad and the Hanger Steak for appetizers. Great combination then we had the Chef’s Ribeye and the fish special preparation which was Onaga..first time having this fish and it was fabulous! The steaks were cooked perfectl, very juicy, tasty & tender! Service was great too! We will be going back!

    Sehr gutes Essen, aber unsere Weinbestellung hat ewig gedauert und dann war der Wein nicht verfügbar. Alternative kam dann nachdem wir fertig gegessen hatten. Das hätte ich von einem Restaurant mit der Weinkarte und in dieser Preisklasse anders erwartet.

    Amazing vibe, ambiance, and service. The food was small portions and decent. Not one of the best meals I’ve had in Maui. The steak was a bit over cooked. Not sure that I’d go back for food but the drinks and ambiance were great.

    We had a very disappointing experience at the Ka’ana kitchen. The octopus salad had lukewarm octopus without flavor. The ahi tuna and the risotto we had was good, however the service honestly ruined the experience. The server did not try to explain any of the dishes, seemed to be annoyed by our questions and We waited over an hour to get our entrees. Not an easy feat with a small child. The meal was definitely not worth the price. Recommend going to any of the restaurants at the four seasons instead for impeccable service and food. We seriously regretted going to the Andaz.

    We were seated in a hallway outside the main restaurant- which was also the main thoroughfare from the pool. Adjacent vacated tables were uncleared. The clutter and noise and general dishevelled appearance were overwhelming. And the basic salad was $28, $62 for the cheapest steak. Huge miss.

    We dine at Ka'ana Kitchen once a year on our visit to Maui. Our experience on this trip was the same - outstanding. This restaurant is fine dining at its best. Appetizers of octopus and coconut clams were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were superb. Our entrees included big eye tuna, beef filet, and daily catch. All were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The coconut ice cream sundae was the biggest dessert hit for our group. We'll be back.

    When I made the reservation for Valentines Day over 2 months ago, nothing was identified as a 3-course fixed price meal. The menu presented didn’t provide a price. We were quite shocked when our bill was $500 for 2 including meal and 2 glasses of house wine. Our server was charming, the wait staff relaxed but efficient and welcoming. There was a wedding on the grounds that added to the atmosphere. All over a very nice dinner, just overpriced and a complete surprise!

    we have been to this restaurant many times. Service and wine knowledge is always top-notch. Last night we had a server that was more interested in how fast can he get our order and done, talked a mile a minute to 70 and 80 year old guests, and the restaurant was probably only 50% full. Servers make or break an experience.

    It was our first time visiting this restaurant and what a great surprise! The food was fantastic. The appetizer tuna with the combination of burrata was so unexpected and culinary genius! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend trying the sashimi, the only think that could have been better was the desserts.

    Chris our server was personable and knowledgeable on the menu choices. Enjoyed talking about wine, and after his recommendation-we now love ice wines! Fish dish was so flavorful-tangy and savory. The steak didn’t come out quite cooked enough, so we had them sear it a bit more. This took quite a bit of time, but came out perfect the second round.

    So happy we dined here! The service was great and the food was delicious. The tuna melted in your mouth. The clam sauce was so delicious that we asked the staff for a few more pieces of bread so that we didn’t waste any. The staff was more than accommodating.

    Wonderful food with remarkable flavors! A real surprise! The resort itself was also a great place to walk around before and/or after dinner! Best food we have had on Maui! Small menu but great flavors I have enough for the sausage if you have to make more trips yeah we're gonna need more there. Any others FaceTime with her pretty much everything how about like one of the seasons, salad dressing freezer? I think it's really good get one more I like your Caesar dressing. Thanks.w

    Very high quality food, I can sort of speak for ambience but I do enjoy most meals with headphones on/in if I’m dining alone. Best part was I was never rushed, I dined for nearly 3 hours, having to try multiple dishes (ultimately treated myself to a 5 course meal for my birthday uwu). Opened the meal with the watermelon salad, super refreshing, a great starter after long day of travel. Second came the Octopus Salad, the sleeper hit of the meal. If the category was flavor and depth, 10s across the board, swept, Grand Prize at the ball. The creaminess of the chèvre compliments the super acidic lemon oil used to dress the salad. The octopus so light so soft. Incredible Unfortunately, that night they ran out of the Parmesan Gnocchis with scallops and pork belly. It was made up for with the tuna tataki, which was so rich and just made me so happy. Like the severe contrast in the citric brightness of the Octopus with the soft creamy dreamy feel of seared ahi mixed with burrata is delicious whiplash. My neck snapped and I was never the same. After that I did order the ribeye but a little surprise came in the form of a bread service. Super light brioche, like so light that if you threw them you’d reach Lahaina, with butter and black salt. Really really good, not as good as a fresh batch of Parker house rolls but second place. The ribeye. gorgeous stunn, the front runner (that got usurped by the octopus) I was stuffed from all the other meals where I did eat like half and then box the rest up to eat while crying at night watching EEAAO. I wasn’t actually stuffed once I asked for the dessert menu and got the strawberry cake. This was like the best Japanese style strawberry shortcake possible! Delicate and THIQUE! The staff is also so sweet, as expected by a Hyatt property, anyone who says otherwise is sad and a liar :) Of the places I’ve been to, I give this place a nice spot in my top 25 :’)
