I have been a frequent patron of the K Town Bistro and I expect to continue dining there often. I found several of the items I chose for dinner to be a little shy of exceptional. Perhaps the chef has changed? Don't misunderstand, I think it is a wonderful restaurant and I recommend it highly.

We have eaten at K Town Bistro for many years. We have always found it to be a wonderful place to eat especially for occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. The food is very good with portions that are reasonable and not over whelming. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. You can have a conversation without having to raise your voice. I recommend it to my friends and often treat someone to lunch or dinner there.

Always a delicious and lovely evening at KTown Bistro. Staff and owner are very welcoming and go out of their way to make dinner special. A little gem in Kensington.

Fabulous in EVERY way!

I went to this restaurant because it's one of the few on Open Table that allow you to redeem $100 worth of reward points.

There is zero ambiance, and the decorations are very random. There are spots on the walls missing paint, and the ceiling just barely looks like it might cave in.

The food is pretty good, but the menu is lacking. Our waitress told us more about what was NOT on the menu than the specials available. Also, when I ordered the scallops, they came with under-done (i.e. crunchy) risotto, not the couscous that the menu stated; I was never made aware that there would be a substitution. But I will say that the desserts are delicious; I got the dessert trio (I had to try more than one!), and they were all really good.

I'll go again, but probably only because I still have $11 on that gift card...

First visit to this charming bistro in Kensington. Came for an early weekday lunch. The food and service were great. I had the Oyster Po'Boy, my husband had the Beef Stroganoff, both excellent, with generous portions. Street parking was not a problem, but the area was a bit quiet, likely due to the ongoing pandemic. Definitely plan to return to sample more of the intriguing menu!

Ate inside during COVID restrictions so it was very quiet, but has been on the more quiet side even with the usual number of tables in the past. Excellent food and service as always.

Fabulous bistro restaurant and their sirloin hamburgers are fabulous for any meal and their regular dinner menu and specials are amazing, plus service is SUPER!

I couldn’t be more impressed by this place. Quaint location and excellent service. The prices were reasonable and the portions large. I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich for lunch. While the presentation was basic, no frills, the taste and size was phenomenal! Also, get the fried oysters on a bed of guacamole. Wow. So good!

Fabulous cuisine superbly prepared and served. And their newly added hamburgers are phenomenal!

Socially-distanced seating with a French bistro theme serving well-prepared American comfort food. On our visit (9/12/2020) classic French dishes like escargots and French onion soup were not available. Wine 🍷 bar only with an adequate selection.

what can i say? this is one of my very favorite restaurants ever. the food is absolutely delicious and every time i go and i can't wait to go back!

What a great occasion to be able to return to "K Town Bistro" in Kensington. This is truly one of the finest restaurants in Montgomery County and even as the county begins to open up, this was an event to celebrate: food, service and welcome were superb !

We went during the coronavirus situation. The restaurant was very reassuring and cautious, providing a hand-sanitizer at our table, informing us of the precautions being applied in the kitchen and when preparing our food, and cleaning the table and area after the meal was completed. We felt very comfortable and as safe as is possible in these times.
