Tommy & Chris met each other on their very first day of kindergarten at East Brook Elementary School. During extensive travels throughout Latin America, they became enamored with the diverse cuisines, cultures and flavors from many lands, and wanted to offer an authentic experience based on these culinary and culture adventures.
Serving USDA Prime Cuts in a contemporary ambiance, K Rico also vaunts an outdoor patio with al fresco dining. A full service bar extends through the venue. A semi-private dining area affords intimacy. Seafood from Chile is hand selected, delivered, and served daily. We were introduced to K. Rico by our lovely friends and have been back two-three times since. The food is delicious, (shout out to the amazing cooks! )the drinks are yummy! You must try the Blood Orange Cosmo. The staff is welcoming and they provide such a lovely experience. If you blink, you will miss this hidden gem. There are a lot of restaurants around, however none of them compare to K. Rico.

Visiting from the UK and booked a meal here to celebrate my partner’s 60th. What a fantastic choice! Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help and make it a memorable evening for my partner. Lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Food was delicious and good quality. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic dinner here. Incredible Octopus appetizer, best we've had in years. Super tender, juicy, perfect char and very flavorful without sauce being overwhelming. This was indicative for the rest of the meal. The bone-in sirloin was perfectly grilled, tender, juicy and the rub used great balance of flavor to enhance meat, not overtake it.

I visited from Scotland and was going to see wicked and seen Rico's was round the corner and had fantastic reviews! The service was amazing (except the unironed shirts tut tut) but we will let that slide as the food was delicious! Not one complaint from any of us. The host was also such a sweetheart! Will be going again on my next visit to NYC! Thanks again!

After reading all the rave reviews I made the decision to make reservations to go there before a show. The service and ambience were nice. The baked oysters and octopus appetizers were delicious. The 20 oz ribeyes we ordered medium rare was somehow tough and not marbled. Haven’t had such a poor quality ribeye before. For the price of the ribeyes, it was not worth it at all.

A steakhouse with a different and lively personality. Sizzling cuts arrive with South American sauces and side dishes and everything just seems a bit more interesting and flavorful than the conventional businessman’s steakhouse. The staff is good-humored and efficient. My first visit was above & beyond fun. The restaurant had at least SOMETHING to do with it.

This place never disappoints. I had a well seasoned excellently cooked ribeye. I do have to remind myself that the Brussels sprouts are not my favorite preparation (just a little to crunchy and not enough caramelization for me), but everything else is stellar. Even a simple baked potato is just so soft, not burnt, and comes with a perfect amount of butter and sour cream. I also appreciate the staff. We came late — they were almost ready to close. At no point did they rush us or make us feel like our presence was a burden. They just provided a good meal and great service. This was my first time back since the pandemic. Looking forward to more.

The staff and food were both wonderful. They went above and beyond for my daughter's 10th birthday. Our server, Benjamin, was outstanding along with the homemade chimichurri sauce. Excellent all around!

This was our first time returning to K Rico since the pandemic. We were celebrating our anniversary and requested a specific table and were seated there as stated in our reservation. However, the person at the front end did not acknowledge our anniversary nor did our server, at least initially. We began with a shared ceviche while we enjoyed a good bottle of cabernet sauvignon. We both ordered 12 oz. filet mignons and a side of grilled broccoli and cauliflower. The steaks were cooked to the desired temperature, but part of each was tough. It was also complicated by the dullness of the steak knives, but we managed. For dessert, I ordered a coconut flan and suddenly the server asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We stated it was our anniversary and the dessert we ordered was adorned with a candle and arrived with two complimentary glasses of champagne which was lovely but did seem like somewhat of an afterthought. We did feel slightly disappointed that our anniversary was not initially recognized, and that the steak had a few tough portions, yet we still felt K Rico was worth visiting. Our server also did make an effort to help us celebrate our anniversary.

Went and had their Wednesday steak special—NY strip and side dish for $45. Per person. (Saves about$19. Per dish. ). NY Strip cooked nicely, but had a lot of fat and gristle. Had broccoli and cauliflower sauté which tasted good but it was COLD. Papa frites were good but nothing extraordinary. needed salt. Service was very good. For such a highly rated place…it was average at best. If went again, would pay the extra amount and get the filet mignon and then order sides a la carte

The atmosphere was great as was the Wednesday NY strip steak. But more than that was our waiter. We didn’t catch his name but he is from Ghana via Italy. He was extremely attentive to our wishes to have a very leisurely meal. He is a truly professional waiter and gentleman. Our thanks to him and the entire staff for a wonderful evening meal.
