We ate at K Restaurant for Sunday brunch and had a fantastic experience. Highlights were the fried green tomatoes, house-cut, smoked bacon as well as the shrimp and grits. The chef/owner came out to visit and check on us, which was an unexpected bonus.

The entire staff was extremely professional, very kind, and very attentive! We did not order one disappointing dish (I think there most likely are not any on the entire menu). Everything was extremely delicious and definitely fresh. A great neighborhood restaurant!

We visit Orlando from the Philly suburbs 2-3x a year. My husband has been wanting to dine at K. What a charming jewel of a restaurant. The food was inventive and artfully prepared. My husband ordered the chicken soup as his first course. It was a generous portion, and even though it could have been served hotter, it was delicious and bright with a wonderful lemony finish. I had the avocado toast - crunchy and delicious. My husband had the steak, which he said was one of the best he’s ever had. I had the mushroom pasta. It was earthy, creamy and flavorful. We discovered mutual connections with the owners and were blessed with extremely pleasant conversation. Our waiter, quite a character, was helpful, attentive and charming. We will definitely return on our next trip to Orlando!!!!

Great restaurant. Thank Rocky and Chef for a fantastic Dinner! Everything was awesome, especially dessert. Teres major and gnocchi was great. The beet salad was the best I have ever had. Definitely save room for the brownie sundae.

Friendly atmosphere. Excellent food and attentive well trained servers. Golden tile fish and mushroom pasta dishes were both expertly prepared. Make sure to leave room for the desserts too! Overall enjoyable meal.

We definitely enjoyed the ambience of K Restaurant. It's a house, divided into several small dining rooms, a bar area, and outdoors porch seating. The service was even better than the ambience. Our small room, 4-6 tables, had several groups celebrating birthdays (we were too, but requested a quiet celebration, and that was honored) boisterously, so it was a bit loud. The server for our area was an outgoing guy with a great singing voice and a repertoire of Broadway tunes! He entertained the room, and stayed on top of the service as well. It was a good place to go for a special occasion; it was quite pricey. The owner came to our table at the end of our meal to chat for a few minutes and make sure we had had a good experience.

Our first time at K but not our last. Food was outstanding, great wine and cocktail selection, and the service was excellent. Evan took great care of us and helped with selections. Chad the owner/chef stopped by twice to check in. K was a fantastic dining experience!

First visit since ownership change. Seamless transition and the new owner made himself known and communicated with us. Same staff...including Rocky and the pastry chef...very comfortable evening. Food up to par. Delighted with the meal and ambiance.

My boyfriend and I went to K Restaurant for our anniversary, and we were not disappointed! The food and atmosphere were both excellent, and our server was knowledgeable about the dishes, the cocktails, and the wine list. We went on National Cheese Day, and the chef had created a special dessert grilled cheese with blackberries for the occasion -- unique and delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating a special occasion who values farm-to-table, Florida-centric cuisine. Their menu changes daily, so don't go by what Google Maps gives you for a menu. Go to their website to get the most up to date menu!

If I have a special occasion dinner, my top choice in the Orlando area is K. The food is inevitably delicious, the service is attentive, and the ambience is perfect. This time we made reservations for a Friday, and had such a good time that as we sat around the table trying to figure out where we should go to eat on Saturday, we suddenly realized the perfect solution: why not make another trip to K? Fortunately, there was an open reservation for the next evening (not necessarily guaranteed), and we had another lovely meal. If there’s a better restaurant in the Orlando area, I haven’t found it yet!

Took 8 people from work - we were in Orlando for a national meeting and this was our one night “on our own.” Great choice! Food was fantastic, great beer and the servers were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Get Rocky to serenade your table - he’s known for it.

My wife have eaten at K numerous times over the past several years. The experience has always been superb. The food is fresh and delicious, the menu is creative, and the owner/chef ensures the service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. We can recommend K enthusiastically and unconditionally.

My husband and I have gone to K for special occasions for years. This was for our anniversary. Our waiter was very cordial, the new owner came out to greet us, and the wine selection was excellent. We arrived on time to a very lightly filled restaurant but were seated adjacent to a large party. We heard more of their conversation than our own. The waiters had to squeeze between my husband’s chair and the back of one of the other table’s guests to deliver plates to the rest of the room. I asked him if he wanted to move but he declined. Our food was well prepared but took a long time to arrive. Mine was barely warm. I didn’t return it because I was tired of waiting. I hate to leave a negative review because I really like this restaurant but my experience on this occasion was not as satisfactory as previous ones.
