The food the great and delicious! The service was outstanding and welcoming at all times! We went on a Friday night and it was not crowded a lot! Kids friendly!
Wonderful food and staff. Grade A.
I would've given it 5 stars but they didn't have a lot of Lactose-free selections. For those that don't have allergies, perfect!! I felt that once we turned down dessert (again, no dairy free options) we weren't worth the attention. For the money, we could've gone elsewhere and gotten much more than what we paid for.
P.s.- the Wagyu was tough. regardless of cut, at medium (hot pink/red) any bite should melt in your mouth. Esp. if you're paying upwards of $70!!!
There is a separate vegetarian meal and it has delicious options. Overall, huge servings make this very affordable.
We ordered drinks and appetizers and told the server to give us some time to talk and enjoy prior to ordering entres. Unfortunately she would not stop asking to take our orders for entres and came back about 5 different times to ask. She obviously wasn't paying attention to what was going on.
Everything was beyond expectations snd our waiter , Giovanni, was outstanding and added to the dining experience.
Not a fan of buffets however this is awesome, clean with great food choices.
We went for Easter Sunday and it was fantastic. We sat outside and had really good service. Our waiter was professional and attentive.
The Easter Sunday Brunch food prepared was well done, but lacked variety. Having been to other high end buffets, I was expecting more seafood & perhaps a pasta station.
Easter brunch. Very good
Outstanding food and facility. A bit pricey for a brunch. But we did enjoy.
Cibolo Moon is one of our favorite restaurants in SATX! Our out-of-town guest loved the food and service. I highly recommend the portabella mushroom burger.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cibolo Moon! The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing! We went for the BBQ buffet with one vegan in our party. They met her every need and even brought her a special vegan birthday dessert!
Overall, it was a fine experience. But not worth going. There are so many great restaurants in San Antonio to choose from, so for a better value, a better atmosphere, and better food… That’s where you should take your money
Great food, service and ambiance.
Not amazing, but not awful either. Just a pretty standard mid-range resort restaurant in Texas. They have a decent vegetarian selection but the offerings aren't that tasty. Still at least they tried. The fish tacos are pretty decent, but the ones at the sports bar in the same resort were a little better. The salads are big and not bad at all. The service is variable (I ate here 3 times during my conference and some meals were better than others). Seems like there are a lot of new staff. Overall, it was just fine. If you have a car and can go elsewhere, you probably should. But, if you're stuck onsite like I was or looking for something quick/convenient and not feeling like sports bar or fancy steak house, this is a totally fine option.
My colleague and I had a business dinner here and the service was terrific, as usual. The menu was varied and had something for everybody. My colleague had soup and salad and both looked really good. I had the BBQ platter (thinking, this was TEXAS!) but while the sausage was good, the ribs and brisket were disappointing. Great-looking restaurant and hotel/resort. Definitely worth a trip.
Our team had breakfast here, and everyone was happy with their meals. I liked the buffet a lot, and half of us ordered off the menu. I'm not sure what the prices were, since my manager paid for us, but the room was beautiful and the service was great.
Our server JP was awesome host. He was very attentive to our needs and provided great recommendations on the food and drinks. It was a bit chilly however we wanted to sit outside. JP immediately moved our table closer by the fire creating a wonderful ambiance. We look forward to visiting again and requesting his service.
The menu is too limited. It was a special occasion. Made reservations in advance and they sat us all the way in the back next to a couple and their screaming kids
A very upscale yet modestly priced venue...wide variety of apps and entrees.
From bison meatloaf to scallops to pan seared redfish and even a giant chicken fried steak.
Beautiful and dramatic atmosphere.
Beautiful Valentine’s Day dinner experience.
The pork belly and jalepeno grits were fantastic -- I could have made that my entire meal. The wine list is decent and the menu is creative. The service staff are well trained and professional -- the only reason I rated this as 'fair' was because it was very busy and we waited quite a while to get our order taken -- but this was okay, as we were not in a rush and used the time for business talk.
Brought friends from out of town and they enjoyed it very much.
Amazing! 4 adults and a 2 year old. We were able to have an incredible meal WITH a toddler! Kid meal(s) have lots of healthy options which was a big surprise.
We’ll be back!
The establishment was close on January 4th 2018, for renovations. I was thoroughly disappointed as, I did not receive a phone call to let me know. Imagine arriving for a birthday celebration and to your surprise, the restaurant is closed.
Dinner exceeds expectations. Lunch is a reduced menu.
Since 18 Oaks is only open to hotel guests now, this was a very good second choice.
Nice ambiance on on Christmas Eve. The light show outside was beautiful to watch as we ate our dinner. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We loved the experience.
Was excited to visit the hotel and try this restaurant; however, excitement turned to disappointment. First $100 for shrimp and grits and red fish entree was totally unacceptable. Shrimp was good but the grits lacked flavor. The Red Fish was tasty but green beans kind of skimpy. $20 for a whiskey and $15 for a specialty tequila drink was a little high. Too expensive and mediocre food. Very disappointed it did not live up to our expectations. We'll head back to other restaurants. The hotel was beautiful.
Great food great service took my wife and kids. They all enjoyed the lights outside to the fireplace we sat next to during dinner. The food was amazing very Texas bbq style food, The chicken and waffles were amazing. Our waiter was very attentive. This place was great, definitely will come back again.
Also being an occasional local guest, I have dined here many times and I am NEVER disappointed!
Great environment for the kids. The chicken n waffles was the best I have ever had. Margaritas we're very good as well.
This was our second time to dine at CM. Amazing meal. Pork belly is the best appetizer. Chicken and waffles is so good. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
Good food, but a fairly limited menu. Service is very good and the decor is quite nice as you would expect at a J.W Marriott. I had the cheeseburger which was excellent.
Here for conference. Great wait staff, very helpful and knowledgable. We shared 2 appetizers and split an entree because we wanted a good overview. We had the Burnt Ends (fantastic) served with great home made corn to tortillas and the house made biscuits and strawberry/jalepeno jam. The entree was chilli butter coated red snapper. The flavor was incredible, which our waiter said it would be. The kitchen actually split the fish for us and served us separately which we had not asked for. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and the Tequila bar bartender Luis was a magician with his inventive cocktails.
We loved it every time!!!❤️ Went for dinner, for lunch, for brunch, for breakfast!! Everytime spotless and the service was excellent
Enjoyed our time at Cibolo Moon very much. The buffet which all in our party chose was a great delicious variety of different foods. The main course, the salad bar, sides and desserts were presented in a beautiful arrangement appealing to the eye. The servers seemed to be misinformed on what was on the buffet but their attentiveness in their service made up for their misinformation.
Had reservations at 1030 but did not get seated until 11. Had people come into town for a wedding and was doing brunch. People didn't get to eat because they had to leave since the restaurant took so long with our tables. They were not busy either having plenty tables available
