Food great. Service okay. Noise terrible. Will probably not go back because of the noise. Very sad as the food was wonderful.

Went with a girlfriend whom I hadn't seen for a while and was looking forward to a quiet conversation. That was impossible due to bad acoustics and very loud large group table on other side of the partition. Food is good and nicely presented. Decor is a bit cold. Don't let them put your bottle in a cooler out of arm's reach, or you will be waiting for your next glass to get poured.

Food was fine. Maybe we are used to different upscale dining experience. For being rated the way it was in Philadelphia magazine it was sort of disappointing. There was nothing wrong with the meal and the service was as expected (great), but the price was too high for the meals that were presented. For a byob I could think of three other places to go to in a closer radius. Maybe it was an off night.

I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. We had a delicious meal beautifully served. The wait for the meal was a bit long, but worth the wait . Our group of five all had different meals and we all thought it was a wonderful experience.

This was a last minute recommendation for a birthday dinner. It was all we hoped for. Great local farm to table seasonal menu with something for everyone. The egg yolk ravioli is a must-have!

We loved every tasty morsel. Some of the dishes we had never tried before and nothing disappointed! Salad to dessert was unique, especially fresh and always tasty. Don't pass this up!

Nice dining experience at Junto, though not exceptional and pricey. Plenty of free parking. Very classy job redesigning the interior of a strip mall space. Our server was adequate, though we observed better service from another server. Menu is interesting and varied. Dining room got noisy as it filled up. Food was very good, though maybe not justifying the price.

This was seriously one of the best meals of my life! The cheese board & chicken liver was a great start. The pickled root vegetable salad was really delicious! My husband and I both had the black bass entrée which was absolutely to die for! And the chocolate ice cream was so dark and delicious I've never had anything quite like it! Service was terrific! I love that it is a BYOB! I absolutely cannot wait to come back here! It is my new favorite restaurant!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our recent dinner at Junto. It was our first time. The food is very fresh. We both ordered seafood dishes (skate and scallops), which were delicious and nicely presented. I also had a New England Clam Chowder appetizer that was flavorful and not at all heavy.

The atmosphere is homey and low key. The young waitstaff is friendly and attentive. BYOB is a plus.

Junto is a real gem. We plan to return.

Two of us had the tasting menu and two ordered off of the menu. By doing the tasting menu we could get a great overview to many of the items on the menu. So many delicious bites! We'd recommend any of the soups, the baked oysters and the beef cheek, and the bluefish special was terrific. We also saw, but did not order, the duck tasting menu, which looked outstanding. The service was great - attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary; she had no idea where she was going, but I told her to enjoy what was to come in the restaurant. From start to finish all went well. We chose the price fixed duck special, and were wowed by each course. Appreciated the service by the sous chef who explained each course as it was served. I appreciated the local sourcing of the menu items.
The staff from the sous chef to the bus boy each hit their marks.
We will definitely return and inform our friends of Junto.

We were a party of 2 and enjoyed the tasting menu featuring duck. The food and service were impeccable. I have traveled extensively abroad and this meal at Junto ranks among the top most meals I have enjoyed anywhere. Very creative preparation and presentation. My husband and I will return to
Junto for our next special occasion. Hands down one of the most memorable meals we have ever enjoyed. The quality was absolutely outstanding. Don't miss this local gem.

Our party of five arrived at 6:30 and didn't leave the table until nearly 10:00, so the slow pace of service was fine for us. This was both a birthday celebration and a reunion of old friends—a delightful evening with lots of catching up to do. We were never hurried by the staff. Portions were smallish (hence value rating) but the menu had a lot of creative choices, with none of the usual fare. Charcuterie and roasted vegs for the table were followed by entrees. Some of us had small plates, others large. Variety ruled: pasta, pork, oysters, salads. We'll go back for another occasion or maybe a dinner for two.

This is our go to restaurant for all our special occasions. It takes us a half hour to drive there if there is no traffic but it is really worth it. The food is always great and the service impeccable. Our wait staff, Debbie, was superb. Although because of a very rude and loud 5 people party seated next us it was hard to carry on a conversation on this visit, the noise level is usually very moderate so that people can talk rather than having to shout. Try the tasting menu or order anything from the menu. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also remember that Junto is a BYOB (how wonderful is that?).
I absolutely recommend Junto. But be sure you make a reservation in advance.

We had a fantastic dinner. Really creative, delicious food ( I had the pork tenderloin, my wife had the black bass, both were top notch). Our servers were kind and very attentive. To finish the night we had the creme brûlée, which was excellent.

Junto continues to maintain the best, most innovative cuisine in the area. Local ingredients, special products (I had pike for the first time in a decade), and fine parings. Attentive, excellent service. At this time of year the main courses
- weighted to fish - are the specialties. The starters are scrumptious, especially the pastas. Quality for value: we have always looked forward to our next visit. Good decor, light level, and music.

We have dined at Junto several times before and have loved each meal. We always do the tasting menu becuase we like to try different things and appreciate someone else making our selection. This time however we were left being dissapointed. The problem was salt, we had three dishes that were just extremelt salty. The oysters were vey heavily salted which was a surprise because we usually love your oysters. The clam dish had salt from the bacon but then was tossed in an additional butter suace making it too salty. The fish (skate) was also too salty, however the texture was perfect! The other dishes were very good if not excellent but the overly salty ones left our pallets with so much salt that we felt we could not appreciate the others fully. We are hoping that this meal was just an off night for your restaurant. The soup and dessert(coffee break pudding) were outstanding. We hope that a future dining experience will be better. The waiter was attentive and we appreciate the low key casual vibe with creative food blends...
Thank you

Another fantastic meal at Junto. Inventive, perfectly prepared food, pleasant, attentive service and a comfortable dining area with better sound-proofing than previous visits. Well worth the drive. One of the few local restaurants that deserves multiple visits.

My husband and I visited Junto for the first time for Valentine's Day and we had an amazing experience! The restaurant was cozy and quiet and the service was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable and went above and beyond. The Valentine's menu was a set tasting menu and as I was pregnant and concerned with listeria and under cooked food I mentioned something to my waitress. She told me exactly what they would do differently (ie cooking the oyster on the half shell and heating the cheese to specific temperatures) and mentioned this again every time she brought out the next course. I was very impressed and very thankful that I did not have to worry about whether or not I should be eating something. The food was unbelievable and I can't stop talking about it. Thank you to everyone for making our Valentine's a wonderful occasion and we will definitely be back!

Terrific brunch, delicious food, helpful waitstaff. Homemade sausage gravy over cornmeal biscuits and eggs Benedict with lump crab. Dining room was freezing on a cold Sunday morning. Heat probably isn't on a programmable thermostat. Minor discomfort but an excellent meal.

It's wonderful to have a place such as Junto out in the western suburbs. Even though it is inauspicious looking, the ambience inside, while a bit noisy, is comforting. The service and food are more than excellent. The freshness of the ingredients could be tasted throughout the meal. A great experience.

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful evening at Junto's. The appetizers and entrees were beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious. The free range chicken is the very best chicken dish I have ever enjoyed. The gnocchi which can be ordered as an appetizer or entree was delightful. We recommend the house prepared sour dough bread with bone marrow butter and horseradish. The bread is served warm. The bread's exquisite taste will leave you speechless. We have very discriminating tastes and thus are difficult to impress. Jason (chef), Shawn (waiter) and the Junto team provided us a memorable dining experience. You will also be impressed when dining at Junto. Sincerely, Colonel Thomas Stocks, US Army
