Loved sitting by the fire, one table back from the main walkway!
The plating was extra-special, if you're looking for a place that feels expensive without the $70 entrees,(more like $15-30) this is a great spot. I've had better drinks but for the price not too bad. The ambiance seems decidedly early-2000s with abstract art and swoopy curves.
We made reservations for Valentines Day dinner. Upon arrival we needed to add a guest. JUNO was pretty full but a manager asked if we were ok sitting in the bar. Sean, the bartender, gave us 5 star service!
The food was great! Two people in my group are Vegetarian, which can be a challenge, but JUNO had really yummy options that totally satisfied all.
The Arctic Club (the hotel where Juno is) has so much old world charm. So many details in the decor; made it a little like a treasure hunt.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would definitely return and recommend.
Never disappoints me. A friend and I were meeting up which required a lot of talking I wanted to do a one on one not many places are open the time I wanted during the weekend so it was best to ho with a place that was part of a hotel. My friend had the seafood frittata she wanted to leave the smoke salmon out and they were
able to provide with out any issues. I went with the crab cake benedict and had asked with the hollandaise on the side. Our special requests done perfectly. My friend was running almost 45 minutes late due to traffic and they were very patient keeping my coffee and water filled. There is a reason I keep coming back
The Halibut was not horrible. But it wasn't great. In addition, I had a fair amount of gastrointestinal distress that night - that I am still recovering from.
Server was Amazing! Good food and great presentation...
Excellent service. Fire was going on a cold & rainy day and it was wonderful. Food was very tasty. Very friendly atmosphere.
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Even with a reservation, once seated it was 35 minutes before anyone came to the table to take my order. It was another 25 minutes before the food arrived and when it did, the order was not correct. It was very disappointing, however, I did not have to pay for the order as it was delivered to me.
New Years dinner was stupidly priced ($130 for two) and the main dish was verging on boring to bad.
I was expecting a little more attention from the wait staff. The food came out quickly and tasted good. The wait staff brought the check and just laid it on the table, didn't ask how things were or offer a dessert or coffee. I indicated that it was a birthday celebration and although the greeter said happy birthday the wait staff did not. I expected more given the cost of the food and Juno's reputation.
Food is good but not extraordinary. The plus is that it is lunch location that allows for talking and a less rushed meal than many other locations. Price is high for what is served, but I will return.
We take our GM and President here every year for Boss’ Day it’s usually a few weeks after due to schedules. It’s usually 7am in the morning so it’s pretty quiet when we’re there. The food is always excellent as well as the service I probably don’t have to make a reservation but I do just in case. We usually grab the table next the fireplace. Coffee mugs and water glasses stay full. About the pricing you would expect for a hotel restaurant. Good variety on the menu, lighter fair for those looking for less calories.
10 minutes standing with no one acknowledging before we got a table. Another 10 minutes before we got menus. Table sticky. Place had funky smell. We left.
Waiter forgot to put order in, waited 1 1/2 hours then had to eat quickly since we were now late for event. Restaurant made no accommodations for the horrible service.
Seems like the menu has changed some since last year. Service was pretty good. Prices are a little high for what you get.
Slow, terrible service, ok food if it gets to you hot..
We were greeted at the door immediately and led to our table. Service was fast, frequent and very nice. Both the waiter and a server checked on our coffee and water multiple times.
We had a reservation but I don’t think the restaurant paid any attention to it, as the table wasn’t ready when we arrived and we had to wait for them to put tables together and set it up. Food was okay.
Went into the establishment without any greeting had to flag down the only waiter and had menus thrown on the table without being even served water and after waiting 10 minutes the waiter never came back and we left, also a side note we were one of only 2 parties in the establishment
Great place for business lunch meetings.
Great menu choices, easy-going staff. Slight shift in menu item accommodated by the kitchen. Sat where we wanted as soon as we arrived.
Nice place to meet up and chat and have a nice lunch. I had fish and chips and was happy with the fish.
Initially service was pathetic. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged and receive menus and another 15 minutes before finally Carrie came over and took over our table. The older balding waiter didn’t seem to care the customers were waiting for him. Even cleared another table even after we asked him if we could order. It wasn’t busy so there was no excuse for the horrible service. But once Carrie took our table she was fantastic! Very attentive and made the experience much better. But we were prepared to walk out after waiting 25 minutes if she had not come to our table. If it wasn’t for her it would definitely have been a once and done. The wait staff on a Sunday morning need to waking up.
Prices are high but it’s a good location for lunch. I would like to see the restaurant reduce their prices and extend their menu.
Great menu choices! Good food and wait staff, and one could easily get in/out for a lunch. My group enjoyed their time away from the office.
We had a reservation. Seated fairly promptly. Service was terrible. Waiter took forever to even come to take our order. Then 30 minutes for food to arrive (salad and sandwich). Waiter never came back to fill water or tea. Had to flag him down again to get the bill. Food is usually good here, service is mixed.
There was literally no one there. No one there to greet us and no one in the restaurant at all. Thankfully, there was a better local restaurant nearby that was happy for our business.
Really dead for a holiday weekend, practically with tumbleweed blowing by, which was a bit surprising, but I guess that part of downtown doesn't have much energy on a Sunday morning.
Food was pretty good, but we waited an unusually long time for it, considering how few parties were in the restaurant. Though the prices weren't too high, some items had a pretty scant amount of food for the cost. There was just a single slice of toast for the avocado toast.
There were only three parties in the restaurant Our waitress was terrible. She took our order and never came back. Food was under cooked. Had to flag down other staff. Table was dirty. Overall terrible experience
The food was great (especially the Flathead [y'all would make that an entree]) but the best part was the service, our waitress was extremely nice and made the whole experience 100 times better!
I had the halibut with coconut black rice and it was delicious! It was my first time at this restaurant. The hostess, who took our order and also who brought us our food, was very short and not friendly. The hostess seemed unhappy with her job! We had a waitress who sat us down at the table but for some reason the hostess took our order and brought us food. I wanted some fresh ground peppers for my fish but had to wait a long time before I could get someone's attention. By that time, I had already eaten half of my lunch. That's the reason I gave it 2 stars for the service.
We were served water once at the beginning and bottom up when we were waiting for the food and chatting. Until we were done eating and be ready to leave, we were asked if we need more water. (we did not order any other drink). We expected more water. I still tipped 15%+ but next time I would tip less.
This is the second time I have had a business lunch at Juno. The first one was more impressive. This time our lunch was at 2:00 so just after the lunch rush and it seemed we were more of an inconvenience. The food was okay, I ordered the Juno Chop and the cous cous was in clumps. I am sure I will be back because of the convenient location, just don’t think I would recommend it.
Great place for lunch or an impromptu after work happy hour
lovely lunch salads, the service here is always gracious and good.
I had both a lunch and a dinner at Juno. The service was really great. It was quite busy at lunch but still got very good service. At dinner the restaurant was quite empty, but it made for a nice quiet dinner. The food was very good. I very much recommend this restaurant!
Server was rude and obviously overwhelmed with checks.
Limited menu choices. Prices are slightly higher for the quality and the quantity of the dish. Wait staff friendly and service great.
The seafood paella was delicious! It's hard to find private dining downtown with reasonable prices. I recommend JUNO for work-related meals.
Everything was great!
