The soup salad special was fabulous!
Great service and experience.
A great gin martini followed by well-prepared and presented seafood. Building is the former Arctic Club and worth a visit.
The restaurant was pretty empty for our Valentine’s dinner. Huge red flag! The cocktails were not memorable (but pricey).
We waited a long time for dinner. I got my French Onion Soup but my husband never got his salad. When our entrees were finally served, we were incredibly disappointed. My King Salmon was obviously frozen and had no flavor, at all. My husband ordered a medium burger- it came out “well done”.
I do NOT recommend this place!
For a business meal in a busy part of the city, the service is slower than expected, and not very well organized. The food tended to be over salted and lacking the crisp freshness one would normally expect in a highly recommended lunch establishment. The clientele are lawyers and other professionals who seem to come here often.
Nicoise salad had no lettuce, and deep fried green beans were an unwelcome reach.
I was surprised to see how quiet this place was. It’s a great alternative to very loud places are. I was able to have a business meal without any distractions. The food cane it quickly which was great for an hour-long lunch. I’ll definitely choose this place again.
So disappointed in this restaurant. It looks really cool but it was horribly understaffed and the service really suffered because of that. The soups and salads were good but beyond that there was nothing good to say about the food. The steak was very expensive and really over cooked and under seasoned. I had to ask for a steak knife three times and finally went and got my own. Top it all off, no one even offered dessert.
Poor service. No water refills and no one to check in on us.
despite a quiet night in the restaurant, it took much too long to be acknowledged at the host stand, then to be served (we started looking on our phones for other places with open seating), then to be given silverware, then to get our food. when served, server was very pleasant and friendly.
burger was cold. wife’s side dish was cold. food was tasty but not creative or interesting. We decided we simply needed food, so we ate, and planned on better meals elsewhere.
Dining options on Christmas are limited. We travelled to Seattle and stayed in downtown for three days and nights. Juno was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The cozy atmosphere and quiet ambiance were a welcome environment for entertaining our family, who drove in to town to visit.
The service was attentive, calm and unobtrusive.
Food and drinks were both creative and delicious.
We will be back to Seattle and will visit Juno again.
Very nice and food was great! Ceaser salad best in town.
And absolute gem I have never tried until now! Took my husband and son for Christmas eve dinner. I would definitely take my husband back for a romantic date! It was beyond beautiful. Loved stopping by the Rainer Club lobby first to check out the wonderful “man club” decor. Food was absolutely incredible. Service outstanding. Ambiance perfect. Everything exceeded my expectations.
Had a great evening over the holidays at JUNO. Lots of delicious food at a great value. Would recommend highly.
Very pleasant overall! Not good if your in a hurry
Very pleased. Only thing missing....I’d mentioned when I made a reservation that this was a birthday dinner and thought there might be some acknowledgement re this. I didn’t remind anyone of this when we were there but,
thinking back, would have expected a mention. We did thoroughly enjoy our time there, especially our waiter.. wish I remembered his name. ( we were there about 5:00 on December 14! )
Juno is reliable as always. I have never eaten dinner there before.
This was a first but my daughter and I were going to the theatr and I knew based on past experience that the service would be prompt so we would not miss the curtain. Juno is across the street from the Pioneer Square Light Rail station so I knew we could take it north one stop and easily walk to the theater. A much better option than the crammed restaurants theoretically closer.
Though prompt I didn't feel rushed. I had the seafood salad which was really tasty - scallops, shrimp, crab. Just the right size too. My daughter had the rib steak (I had a bite). Very tender. Crisp tender veggies for her which looked good. Will definitely try dinner again.
There was a party of 4, and we were there for a pregame Sea Hawks late lunch. We had drinks appetizers and entrees. All were perfect. The booth we sat in was wonderful and very comfortable for 4 adults. The service was excellent, and they were very accommodating to all dietary needs. I am looking forward to eating here again. My steak tips were superb, and the fresh herbs and wine gravy, they were served in was for a foodie, divine. I could taste the fresh Thyme, and the richness of the wine and mushrooms. Just the best. Both gentlemen had the burgers and the beef was exceptional. So glad to discover you when dining in Seattle, will come again for sure!!!!
Very surprising find. We were one of only a couple of tables filled and we thought, "Uh oh". But the food was extraordinarily good and the waiter fun, sarcastic, and made great suggestions. Highly recommended.
Don’t go when they are full!
These guys have a good menu and a great location. Unfortunately they seem to have a kitchen that’s not equipped to keep up with the orders when they are full. Multiple times now I have gone for brunch before a Seahawks game (they are just blocks from the stadium and right at the Pioneer Square link stop). In both cases it was a 40 minute wait from ordering to food arriving. Hopefully they can build kitchen capacity that meets their demand. If the did that I would be giving a much warmer review.
Wait staff was inattentive and seemed unhappy even annoyed. The service was slow and, while the food was decent, I suspect it sat on a service counter maybe 10 minutes too long.
The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was wonderful, I look forward to another chance to have breakfast there again.
Waitstaff nice and professional. Bartender made awesome cocktails- especially enjoyed their basil cocktail. The food was extremely well made for a reasonable cost. Enjoyed the space as well. I had he ribeye-delicious.
A great selection of salads, which were perfect for a healthy business lunch. The menu is also loaded with many more things that others might desire. The atmosphere was such that we could carry on a conversation comfortably.
My friends from work brought me to Juno for my birthday lunch. We have lunch at Juno occasionally throughout the year. It is a convenient walk from the Columbia Tower.
Horrible. I have never had such poor service. Only good thing was the deep discount to the bill because they knew how terrible a job they had done. The other 6 tables in the restaurant seemed to be having equal difficulties with service.
Food was pretty good, but there are better places in the area. Service was friendly but super slow and not very attentive.
Very good food and the service was really friendly. Great spot for pre game or pre concert food and drink. Highly recommend!
Food quality was good - but the vegetarian and vegan options are seriously limited -- would go here more if there were more creative and just plain MORE options for non carnivores.
Food was passable. Service was confusing and forgot a few things despite us asking a few times. Waitress messed up the check when splitting it.
Great spot for a downtown breakfast meeting. Quiet, good service and conveniently located.
I was meeting a business contact for the first time to have lunch. On arrival and check in, I was informed Juno did not have a reservation for me. I showed the Open Table confirmation message I'd received and got an apathetic "sorry" in response. I decided to wait for my companion's arrival in the reception area. The restaurant was not full and I didn't see anyone who might resemble who I might be meeting. I had my contact's email, but not her cell number so unable to call or text. Just thought she was running late until I realized through some email exchanges that she'd already been seated. She'd arrived earlier and checked in for my reservation (which the hostess said they didn't have, and didn't bother to further investigate). My companion came to the front to get me and our lunch meeting started 30 minutes late. The server gave another unconvincing apology and lunch got underway. Food and service were ok for the rest of the meal. I'd have expected an offer to comp one of our meals or a free dessert--anything to offset the poor experience at the beginning of the meal.
Overall attribute this "poor" rating to their inability to use the Open Table system effectively, and lack of care and follow through in helping my companion and I connect. At other restaurants using Open Table, there never seems to be a problem seating people who arrive separately for the same reservation...why can't Juno figure this out?
Amazing food , but we left there with our clothes smelling grease. The only think they should have a better one is the exhaust.
I highly recommend!!
Great service, the seafood penne was amazing, and the drink selection was good. Kids options were limited and it wasn't what I would categorize as a family restaurant but they did a fabulous job accommodating my mini human.
Excellent food and service! This is a good place for large parties too.
IMO, Juno does a better job at happy hour than lunch. The first time I had lunch there was with a large group. The waiter spilled sweet chili sauce all over my pants and brought me a grubby bar rag to wipe up with. This time (party of 3) was thankfully not as eventful, but we were seated without menus and without enough place settings. The waiter noticed, but did nothing about it until I asked for a place setting when the food arrived (which seemed to take a long time both times). Juno is one of the nicer places close to my office, but there's nothing exceptional to say about the food or service.
We had a party of 7 for a birthday lunch for a coworker. Terrible service. Gave up on ordering dessert even tho they knew it was a birthday. Dirty floor. Food inconsistent at our table. Steak salad is awful. Server seemed disinterested and distracted. We have had good breakfast meetings there however.
For a slow Friday lunch, the service was not great. I selected the "Nicoise" which was in the salad section of the menu, however it was not a salad, not a piece of lettuce on the plate. The tuna should have been seared Ahi, thinly sliced. Instead it looked like a steak - brown on the outside and cut into large, thick slices. It was overcooked and not very tasteful. There were about 100 Kalamata olives on the plate, the green beans were Tempura (weird...) and there was a pool of a heavy, orang-ish tasting dressing in the middle of the plate. The meals of my two dining companions looked better and they said tasted "OK". I do not plan to return to Juno anytime soon.
Hadn't been to Juno's in over a year and decided to go out for lunch. The food was delicious. I had the prime rib sliders and they were delicious.
Overall, the food was good, and once we had ordered, it came out within 5-8 minutes. However, I had a reservation at 930, and we were not even acknowledged waiting at the door until 940. It didn't look like they were short staffed because the lady who sat us were talking to her coworkers the entire time. After sitting for 15 more minutes with no water or menus and right as we were about to leave, our server came over. He was a nice man, but with the 25 min wait until we could even order from our reservation time, we won't be back.
