Juniper is our favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley. They never disappoint - always consistently excellent!
As always, food perfect, service perfect. We had halibut, salmon, steak and duck. Everything cooked to perfect temp. Side dishes excellent. Everyone cleaned their plate, and Charles' flourless chocolate cake was a perfect finish.
Juniper is our favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley; it is located in the Riverwalk in Edwards. The food is delicious, creative and Well presented. We always request Dave as our server but all are extremely competent. In the summer season the "outside porch" is right on the Eagle River. If you are in the area, you need to check it out. You will not be disappointed. Tip: During closing week in ski season they have 1/2 price entree specials.
Excellent! Every person’s meal was delicious and perfect. Fabulous night in a cozy setting.
Nothing beats juniper!
Great food and service - every year we come to Vail and we stop here because it’s one of the best restaurants in the area
Great savory scallop dish preceded by the octopus salad. Really good meal.
Both the food and the decor are exceptional. The Veal Scallopini was delicious as was the Lamb Shank; the Sticky Toffee Pudding cake was out of contol. The restaurant is hidden in a "neighborhood" of buildings that is commercial on the bottom floor, and residential (or office space) on the upper levels---come for an early dinner and you can enjoy shopping at various very fashionable boutiques too. Do not miss this restaurant!
Great butternut squash and tartar for appetizers! Fish, lamb, and filet were great! Very crowded for the evening (not an empty table!) but service was still very good
Our meal was fabulous! Salads were fresh and unique, pizza was delicious.
Best part was our server, Vida...she was amazing.
Exceeded expecations on food, wine, service. Located conveniently near us.
Bread is awesome
We were told by someone who lives in Vail Valley that everything on the menu was good. We didn't try everything, but everything that we tried was out-of-sight! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good, though not cheap, dinner. And we will definitely be back.
Juniper is always excellent service and delicious food.
The restaurant could not accommodate our requests regarding food allergies.
Best restaurant in Edwards. We’ve been happy customers for many years and it always meets our expectations.
Great restaurant. Food is special, great appetizers, main courses are second to none!
Consistently delicious and innovative - menu changes seasonally. Great service and ambiance - it is noisy, but totally worth it.
Great food! A bit noisy
Traveling from la for ski season. Good about food allergies
My husband had the lamb which was good but nothing special. I had the Duch two ways. The duck was dry and the risotto was wet and tasteless. Some salad/greens came with it which tasted bitter and burned. The waitress didn't show up to ask about our food for the longest time, and when she did I told her about the burnt salad piece and she just told me "yeah its from the grill". Nothing was offered instead and no deduction seen on the very expensive overall meal.
Liked the atmosphere, the food and the service here. There were 4 of us and each were pleased with their cocktail or wine selection and the food was very good.
Always a great meal with excellent service!
The Best in the Vail Valley. Our go to restaurant!
Over-priced, marginal food in a very dated dining room. We were very annoyed to have reservations and to be seated right next to the hostess stand and front door. As soon as our waitress came I asked to be re-seated to a table that had just left that was not so exposed to the loud throngs of people that had been loitering literally within inches of our table. The owner came over and said the other table was taken and nothing she could do. Interesting when that table sat empty for another 45 minutes and two more groups of people continued to carryon right next to us. After a pathetic argument I finally convinced the owner to move us. After all that our food with $38 entree prices was completely marginal and definitely not worth the hassle. Suffice it to say, we will never be back. There are tons of better, more accommodating restaurants in the valley- do yourself a favor and go seek those out!
For 3/4 of our party the food was exceptional. For our other guest the salmon was not cooked thoroughly. When we told them the salmon was not cooked they took it back to the kitchen and then returned with the same piece of mutilated fish. The manager did not make any effort to make it right. We had to ask to have the salmon removed from the bill. Avoid the salmon. However, Veal scallopini and appetizers were excellent!
This was our second Valentine's Day at Juniper and they did not disappoint. Received a rose upon arrival and from then on the service was excellent. The menu is outstanding, too. Always a treat!
The food was excellent and the service was great. It is one of the best restaurants in the Vail Valley.
One of my best dining experiences EVER! The veal was outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive.
Terrific service and very nice people
Outstanding! Fantastic service and food. The pudding cake dessert is a must!
We always dine here when we are in Avon, CO, for our ski vacation as the food is marvelous.
Had a reservation but had to wait 15 min for a table and the bar was packed so there was really no place to stand and have a drink without being in the way. The food was good but not great considering the entrees are $30-50. Service pretty good.
Excellent in every way. The pork chop and poke tower were standouts. Yum!
We love Juniper but the one thing that keeps us from coming back more is the noise level. We might try dining in the middle of the week to see if it's not so loud but the food and service are great. The soup apps were good but a bit expensive.
Nice looking restaurant but, when full, the noise level is VERY loud (if you want to carry on a conversation, you've got to speak with a raised voice). The food is quite expensive, even for the area, and, the dishes we ordered were mediocre at best. Would not go back.
The food was excellent but I was disappointed at the noise level, music at such an upscale restaurant.
I heard this was one of the better restaurants and in the Beaver Creek area so we decided to give it a try, having exhausted many other of the regular favorites in previous years. The bread was not worth it , but the salads and entrees were first-rate. I had butternut squash soup which could be the best I’ve ever had had. This chef uses many ingredients in all of his dishes and often in unexpected ways.We were too full to try dessert. The servers were very pleasant, but not as smooth and professional as the menu led me to expect.
Food is fantastic and the customer service is impeccable!! Highly recommended
Excellent food enjoyed the meal a bit pricey but everything good service very good nice local place
