Juniper Restaurant in the Vail Valley
The BEST evening. Food outstanding. The scallops superb
Ridiculously priced and food quality wasnt even average.
Excellent food rivaling anything in Vail village or Lionshead!!! Well worth the drive & one can catch a movie across the street!
We eat at Juniper often and are never disappointed! The food is consistently delicious, the staff friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is inviting and vibrant. It’s why we go out to eat - a lovely occasion!!! Thank you!
Great food, wonderful combinations. Wine list could use a few lesser priced options. $75 as the lowest priced option was a bit goofy.overall, great night.
Juniper is excellent. Very intimate setting with impeccable food.
Fabulous inventive dishes, great presentation, definitely a must while in the area
Wonderful experience yet again.
Usually visit the area yearly and make it a point to go to Juniper.
This restaurant is a must for discerning diners in the Vail Valley. The quality, originality and presentation is the very finest. We have gone every time we’ve had the occasion and have always had memorable meals from appetizers to desserts. I was fortunate to be able to take my son on this ski trip who was wowed especially as he knows the prop. from college days. Not to be missed for fine dining.
Delicious as always! Juniper- You never disappoint on date night!
This place has amazing food. It was fabulous the last time we were vacationing here 5 years ago. My husband had the veal, and I had the halibut. We love everything about it, including our salads, one poached pear, and a ceasar. This is possibly the best restaurants we have ever eaten. The only disappointment was dessert. We took them to go. I had the homemade apple pie and my husband had the vinella rasberry layer cake. The apple pie crust was perfect, it was thin and flakey. The filling was very tart, and that would have been fine had the caramel topping been sweet, buttery and flowing; instead it was thick and bitter, like it was over cooked and the butter burned. The cake was better, but it was nothing special. I still give this place the highest rating, just want the pastry chef to know these desserts were a bit of a miss.
Excellent friendly staff and great food. Started with soup. Cauliflower was excellent , dining partner had Lentil/ Chorizo - excellent. Elk and Lamb menu items were selected and both were excellent! Dessert was Apple Pie and was Delicious
Excellent choice for Colorado dining!!
We love Juniper and enjoyed sharing it with friends who had never been there. They did a great job - and our dinner was excellent!
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. It was crowded so it was a little loud. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the place to go on a busy night.
Great food, attentive, but not intrusive service and and ambiance that complement the food and service
Delicious food, fun drinks, nice wine selection. We loved the braised short ribs appetizer, Melt in your mouth goodness!
Wonderful ambiance and excellent food and service in the charming town of Edwards!
We are at Junipers fairly often when we are in town and take friends there too. This time my husband forgot his wallet and Doug was nice enough to let him call with a credit card when we got home.
Food was awesome. Service was great. Perfect BD celebration for my husband.
Juniper is always my go to when I have guests from out of town. The food is always amazing with lots of choices for everyone. My 17 year old nephew said the menu was awesome, and there were 9 different things he wanted to order. Consistency is key when entertaining guests, and you will get that at Juniper since either the owner or his right hand is always there.
I've been going to Juniper for several years and have NEVER been disappointed. The menu offers a variety of dishes to appeal all palates. The staff is very friendly and pleasant.
Bar seating is fun as well
Food was fantastic. Service was ok....felt like I was treated like a second citizen. She was short, curt and not very personable.
Have visited on prior occasions and this was
The least favorite experience.
We have in the past had wonderful meals but this time two meals were excellent but two others were not up to their standard.
Steak and accompaniments were very greasy, the entire plate was filled with oil.
Juniper is one of our favorite restaurants in the Beaver Creek area. Warm and cozy after a long ski day and the food and service are consistent and worth coming back for every year.
One of the better quality restaurants in the area. We generally have great service along with the food, our last visit the server was a little below average for this restaurant. We go often, and will continue to dine at Juniper. It has been a favorite for a long time. I hate saying anything negative, but being honest the last server could have been better.
Although my favorite entree, duck two ways, was removed from the menu, since the chefs had the ingredients on hand, they prepared it for me. It was superb as usual, as were the other entrees and desserts. We brought another couple with us and they were quite impressed with everything. Juniper is definitely one of our favorites and we eat there whenever we are in Avon or Edwards. Great staff, service, and food.
Service was excellent!
Always extraordinary food & this time no exception! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal
We eat at Juniper's every time we are in Vail Valley. We are never disappointed with the food. Always a great treat during our visit.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Great wine list. The best Veal Scallopini I've ever eaten.
Tables were spaced ridiculously close together as though they were maximizing business at customer expense/comfort. Shame
Service was amateurish and surly. Other staff tried to fill in. Restaurant was clearly overbooked and staff stretched way too thin
Food was average at best. Pork shanks were cooked dry and had minimal flavor
Sad. I’ve eaten here before but never experienced this overall disappointing experience
We will never be back
We went as a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their appetizer and their entree. Can't wait to return on our next trip.
Awesome food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Wonderful dinner and service. Was a little cool throughout meal sitting on the porch next to two outside walls. Consistently good food although high prices.
main meals chosen were the lamb, elk, chicken and one vegetarian plate. All of us enjoyed our meals immensely. Lovely wine list also.
We had a wonderful meal with friends at Juniper. Highly recommended!
The food was just excellent. The service was very good; attentive waiter. Would say it is one of the best places in the Vail/Avon/Edwards area
Always a reliably special meal. Juniper is my favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley.
Not up to their usual standards. Waitress got order wrong and the entrees were a very sloppy presentation. That being said we will go back as it is one of our favorites. And you can never go wrong with their veal!
Juniper continues to perform at a high level in the fine dining category in the Eagle Valley. A huge selection of apps and main courses are all well prepared and served promptly. Excellent food, excellent food and friendly servers. Hard to beat.
