We were here for a company Christmas party the staff were amazing, food was local and delicious. We went to bistro for breakfast the next morning and enjoyed our breakfast and the beautiful view from the restaurant

There is absolutely no need to go downtown for breakfast when you can go here. The views are breathtaking, and every aspect of our dining experience was exceptionally pleasant. Thank you to Faith and the other gentleman who served us.

My favourite spectacular view! Arrived a few minutes late for my reservation toward the end of the brunch service. Server and kitchen staff very kindly seated us and we enjoyed a delicious brunch. Thank you. I don’t agree with a $10 pot of tea or an $18 ceasar though :)

We made a quick decision to drive to Banff before our son headed back to the UK. I first phoned the hotel and the front desk was so helpful as they could not get through immediately to the restaurant. He phoned me back and confirmed our table although in the car I was able to make it online. Simply put the food, service and room was wonderful. The best eggs Benedict I have hade in some time. The waiter was exceptional - warm and helpful. Thank you so much Juniper Hotel.

The restaurant is in a great location with great views, the beers are really good and the atmosphere great in general, service was a plus, the food items were decent and price was too, I would definitely recommend it over other options.

My friends and I did the adventure menu and shared a bottle of wine. The ambience is enjoyable and it is easy to have a nice conversation. The food was wonderful. The only dish that could use improvement was the crab croquettes. We would not get them again because they tasted like fish and potatoes. If there was crab in it, it must have been minimal. Otherwise, a very enjoyable dinner.

I ordered the Alpine Melt and it was outstanding. The creaminess of the cheese and then when the Sunnyside egg yolk oozed over the top of the grilled bread .. it was so delicious. I highly recommend it! My husband had the burger with salad and he enjoyed his as well. Our server Jeremy was excellent. You can’t beat the views from the restaurant.

We visited Juniper Bistro during the Taste for Adventure event. We chose Juniper Bistro because they offered so many vegetarian-friendly and plant-forward dishes. Excellent food made with local produce. Our server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Great flavours and good wines. Lovely views. Definitely a special occasion restaurant. Possibly the best creme brulee I've ever had!

Great place to dine. Views were spectacular and the service was awesome. Food was very tasty. It was not noisy at all. We had a hard of hearing senior with us and she wasn’t bothered at all with the environment. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food at the Juniper Bistro, and the setting is beautiful. I had steak and eggs, and my wife had the avocado toast, and both were delicious. The hollandaise sauce was great too.

The food at Juniper Bistro was delicious but there wasn’t enough of it. They recommended we share several dishes for our table of 6 but 3 scallops made that ridiculous. Some dishes came out cold. Too expensive…..

Very good food and delicious morning drinks were served. Our server even went above and beyond while we ate here to taking our picture at the table with the mountains behind us. Also make sure our food and drinks were to par. Would highly recommend eating here again at the Bistro !

Amy was a great server! We had an amazing steak (on special) and the duck breast which was incredible! We also shared a side of Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes. The portions were well sized. The crème brûlée dessert paired with ice wine was also lovely and you can’t beat the view! A bit pricey, but a lovely fancy dinner out after a day of hiking is exactly what we needed. The chef even came out to say hello. We’ll be back!

We ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was cold. It was also very bland, using beef brisket rather than Montreal smoked meat. There was no more than a teaspoon of sauerkraut and the bread was vey small. The supervisor offered to replace it and the replacement was also cold. They were very good about taking 50% off and replacing the sandwich for no charge. They were also very apologetic. Our friend ordered the huevos rancheros, which was good.

We were initially really excited about this place. Wait staff was friendly, and our salad came out pretty quickly. Then….the wait… We really don’t know why it took so long because we had brussel sprouts, the beef cheek which cooks all day according to waitress, and duck. The brussel sprouts came out cold and to me, the duck was cold too(husband thought it was okay). I think we just caught this place on a bad night.
