We had outstanding food...vegetarian. (we are not vegetarian) but it was so delicious it was more than satiating! Our server, Kelsey was patient, gracious and friendly. The ambience is peaceful (except for the noise from the big highway but it became white noise over time) and beautiful. This is a meal we will talking about for years!

We went based on reviews and it was a disaster. The food was bland, portion was small, views are overrated with traffic noise just beneath the veranda. The reviews showed food based on morning and lunch which looked super good but the dinner menu had nothing to which could even let me salivate. Instead of being judgmental we stayed and tried what we thought would at least sound good. Anyways ..never coming back, would never recommend it, rating is overrated. Sorry

Walked in with a reservation and we were placed in a terrible location, even though there was plenty of open seating. Waited 10 minutes and wasn’t even offered water, finally placed a drink and after 15 minutes we still didn’t get our order or even water. The views were great but the service ruined the experience. It was not a very busy day either.

This is a fabulous up and coming chef. He wowed us from start to finish with Appetizers and Bison Special. The outside does not live up to what's inside. A great find just at the edge of Banff off Trans Canandian Hwy. Wine list leaves a little bit to desire but everything else was well worth the trip out to the edge of town. Fabulous views of the mountains. I told the chef this was a Home Run.

Food was great, however we sat for 15 minutes before anyone talked to us and then we ordered tea/coffee and food right away because we didn't want to wait again. The tea/coffee and food all came at the same time? Took so long to get us a tea/coffee Loved the Eggs your way and great hollandaise sauce.

The best thing about this restaurant is the view, it's outstanding! The food here was just ok and several menu items were not available which is a problem with such a limited menu. The music playing was distracting rather than adding to the ambience (personal preference). Nothing we ordered was bad but nothing was exceptional either. Expensive for the quality and quantity that ends up at the table. The service was good but the place was really not busy. There are so many excellent restaurants in Banff that I would look somewhere else before returning here.
