Junior's Ratings and Reviews
We booked a reservation via Opentable but waited 20 minutes before seated. My husband had to talk to the manager so we can be prioritised due to our reservation. I really love their dessert if not bcos of that we had to go somewhere else. I tried their Prime Rib and it was awesome!
The food was not good at all, but we got boiled seafood plate it was bad. The dessert was excellent we split a meal had one drink each& still spent $100 on dinner if the food was good we wouldn’t have minded at all but for the quality the price was ridiculous
We had an excellent time at Juniors Foxwoods. Even with 14 people, Junior's was able to accomodate and handle our every need. Wait staff was outstanding and even the manager came over to see if we were enjoying ourselves.
Would strongly recommend this restaurant
While this is billed as "casual" dining. It is far more casual than I expected. It has a diner atmosphere. Maybe equivalent to an Applebee's or tgi Fridays. Food was average, service acceptable. Front of house seemed a bit scattered. Best thing going for it is location, as it is close to the Grand Theater. I was looking forward to a nice dinner on a rare night out for my husband and me, and this place just didn't do it for me.
Chicken pot pie (special) was to best
I've ever had. Please tell Juniors to make it a regular item. My portion size was quite large and had to leave half my plate. Amazing!! My husband loved his pastrami, corned beef and chopped liver. Of course, we shared wonderful cheesecake too.
We didn't get to eat at Juniors because they said that they do NOT accept reservations from Open Table.
It was very disappointing to wait in a long line at the hostess station only to be told that they didn't have our reservation and that it would be over an hour wait.
My husband and I enjoyed wonderful meals at Juniors before seeing Alton Brown at the Grand Theater at Foxwoods. We started with complimentary pickled beets, cold slaw and pickles.
Then, he ate the corned beef and pastrami combo which consisted of twin onion rolls of deliciousness and potato salad. I ordered a daily special of pork loin with apple slices, colorful fresh vegetables and substituted mashed potatoes for roasted potatoes. Unfortunately, we had no room for cheesecake. After dinner, we walked nearby to the theater.
We only went there for cheesecake and both varieties were very good. We definitely weren't hungry after, but as we were walking out we spotted a burger that looks awesome! I think we'll definitely be back for a meal at some point. Service was friendly and punctual.
The manager clearly does not create a positive working environment for the servers. Though our server warmed up to us in the end it was clear when he first walked over that he was not very happy to be there. The server told my husband his food came with French fries. When the food came there were no fries, so he went to the kitchen to go get some. When he returned I saw him speak to the manager and then come to us to let us know fries did not come with the meal but he could put in a side order for an additional charge (the was clearly at the direction on the manager). The fries came after everyone finished eating. Lastly my father arranged a cake for my birthday, it was clear they forgot so we had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to get it together which ruined the surprise. Such a disappointing experience.
The service and manager were very attentive. Erin at the check in stand needs to have a personality adjustment. Just started walking towards a table without saying a word to us. Did not realize we were running a race to get too the table.
No issues with the food at all everything well prepared.
We enjoy coming to juniors for breakfast when we stay over at Foxwoods. They have Earl Grey tea and honey. That makes me happy. Lol. Breakfast is always amazing.
I've only been a few times for dinner. We went with another couple and our children before a concert. The menu is really massive. Tons of choices. It's a bustling, busy place. Food is good. Comfort food classics. Worth a try if you are looking for a casual, fun dining experience.
Save room for their famous cheesecake. It's worth not having dinner at all, and just getting dessert!
Food was good but overpriced. It's at a casino so I get it, I'm not expecting the best value ever but if I'm paying $17 anywhere for a pastrami reuben, without a side included, I'm expecting a big sandwich. It wasn't. It was tasty, just much smaller than I was expecting for the price. The burgers were a little better value as they include fries and onion rings but you get the minimum (2) for it to qualify as onion "rings". And they weren't even that good. The batter was too heavy. Service was good, quick and friendly.
Went to the Foxwoods location with a group of four, including a 5 year old. This was my second time there for breakfast. Everything was soooo good and fresh tasting. While they don't have a kids menu you can purchase one pancake (instead of the serving of 3 on the menu). The pancakes are huge!! It was more than enough for a five year old (or a 45 year old!). Asked for crispy bacon and was not disappointed - perfection! Service was great also - pretty quick and very attentive.
