Jungsik is even better than the last time we dined there just over a year ago. The creativity, flavors and synergy are exceptional. The service is flawless without being obtrusive and the wine list is extensive and well curated.

Jungsik’s high-quality products are well presented and cooked to perfection. The service is both unobtrusive and efficient. Prices run fairly high but, given the chef’s exceptional talents and dedication to culinary excellence, they seem totally justifed. I am happy to write that Jungsik is one of the rare restaurants where I have returned and which I have found just as good and pleasurable as on the first occasion (this was four years ago...).

Perfect restaurant! Mix Asian food ( 90% similar Korean food) and European manners and serving style. Feels amazing. I will be there again next time when I'm in New York.

First of all it’s not a Korean restaurant. It isn’t even really “Korean-influenced”. Second, if it cost about a quarter of what they charge, it would be good and certainly interesting. But at those prices - and with the expectations that 2 Michelin stars bring - its a giant waste of time and money.

I could feel the art. I chose the tasting menu and it was really good. I was surprised at the originality of the chef and was once more surprised at the taste. It was an inspired meal. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The wine list was also great. I was hoping to add Opus one or Duckhorn(Napa valley) red wine. I want to visit again.

Exceptional dining experience! Every dish was well thought-out and expertly executed. The staff was top-notched. The ambience was chic and inviting. My only complaint is that we found the 8 course tasting menu a little overwhelming. The other option was a 5 course menu, but your whole table has to choose the same option. My kids were done by the 4th course, which was sad given the price of the dinner (but that is not the fault of the restaurant). We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and dinner at Jungsik will be an experience my family will treasure.

Food was very good. Modern , sophisticated and well elaborated.
The wine pairing option is quite poor compared with the quality of the food and overpriced.
We fell on a waiter that was not at the level of the restaurant and had incorrect attitude.

We are celebrating anniversary at Jungsik. The waiter was very sweet and have provided us a menu with our special date printed to be memorized. While we go for the tasting menu for the night, we also plan to come back and try the seasonal menu sometimes.

Jungsik never fails to impress. I keep coming back and this place is consistently tops. On par or better than any of the well known NYC fine dining institutions.

I have never been to a Korean fine dine before. The service was impeccable, they took care of us so well. The food was beautifully curated by the chef, and each dish complimented each other so well. The amuse bouche was definitely one of my favourites. He combined simple ingredients with more high-end touches like caviar, uni and foie grad that it elevated each flavour. One of the biggest highlights of my meal was the Octopus with gochujang aioli. It was very delicate and light, and it somehow tasted like home. The Wagyu sitting on a bed of rice was also amazing. And the Baby Banana dessert was definitely my favourite. I loved how it was served in a fruit basket. The chocolate shell was not too sweet and complimented the filling very well. Everything was excellent!

One of the most original and creative, yet authentic eatery in all Michelin-starred restaurants. It's amazing how the restaurant modernized all the dishes but still keep its Korean soul. In my experience, one or two dishes didn't leave me much impression, but the rest are highly refined and innovative(even mindblowing). Galbi and banana are must-try. Attentive and excellent service. The service team was open to chitchat and answered my questions after questions with great patience LOL(was too curious about ingredients and techniques)

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in New York City. I had the signature tasting menu. The caviar, foie gras, octopus, lobster, tuna and dessert were all incredibly good. I highly recommend you go as you can. It's expensive but well worth it. A top memorable meal for me.

Great meal, great service, but I miss the old menu that gave you many more choices and ways to try their wonderful, creative food. With only 2 mostly set menus to choose from, I won’t be going back anytime soon, sadly.

Highly disappointed. For a 2 star Michelin this was a huge disappointment. Service good but not great. Food was more European than Korean. Too much food, too big portions, very basic flavours and lacking creativity. Started well with the pre appetizers but it was downhill from there. Frankly I cannot understand why this place gets any stars, never mind 2. Price was astronomical considering the poor experience.

We had an amazing evening with Oscar as our server! He remembered our preferences without having to be reminded. I had been coming less frequently because I like to get what I like without having to get a pre-set menu but Oscar made it right and we had a lovely time. Will be back more often.

The food are not as good as expected. The whole tasting menu is a bit hard to finish cause it's too greasy. The beef is fishy and the desserts are a bit too much. The service and environment are excellent. The waiter was attentive and remembered clearly my preference. Highly recommend for special occasions--when foods are not that important.

Phenomenal Restaurant in NYC!! I have been at the best restaurants in the City and beyond and I am definitely a newcomer to Korean Cuisine. This place in my opinion should go straight to Michelin's three star status. Rarely, I have been impressed like this place did. I had the signature tasting menu which is expensive but worth every penny. Dishes are a home run after the other including the best black cod and octopus that I have ever tasted. Service here is second none and the premium wine pairing cannot be beat anywhere. Do not hesitate for a minute about this place. Please go, you will be glad you did! If you like great food, you must give it a try.

George was a fantastic server. Perfect combination of professionalism and personality. Really made us feel relaxed and at home.

Haksoo was also fantastic! He made the wine list so approachable and really understood what we were looking for as far as taste and price point. Perfect.

Completely blown away by the food, desserts and the service. One of the courses I did not enjoy, and they asked if I would like to try something else in place of that. I kindly declined they brought me drinks on the house! I have to say the service here beats the service in Per Se. the staff was extremely friendly and at tentative. Amazing experience!

Very very solid. Amuse bouche was some of the best, even better than some of the three starred establishments. Every dish was very well executed. The little hints of Korean influence in every course plays very well with overall experience.

This is the best two-Michelin star restaurant in the US that I've been to (have been to 3 others) and I think it gets lost in the wide array of fine dining experiences in the city. Highly recommend.
