We dined at 4 other 3-star Michelin restaurants. This one is on par with our other top one in San Francisco Quince. If it was our decision we would give it that final third star to elevate it the highest level. Wonderful presentation, beautiful execution of flavor profiles, service was well-educated and descriptive while providing attention without interrupting the intimacy of the meal.

As always, Jungsik lives up to its two Michelin stars and demonstrates that it deserves a third star unlike Eleven Madison Park’s oversalted food. The balance of flavors and textures of each dish were spot on, including the cook on the proteins. While the depth of flavor this time was a little bit lower than usual, that’s more if you’re nitpicking and know how good the dishes are usually. Tim, our main table handler, lived up to the standard I have with regards to service, a high bar that was already set by Oscar. The staff is always very personable and welcoming and I look forward to coming back when they make more changes to the seasonal menu and potentially bring dishes over to the NYC branch from Seoul!

Excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere, all excellent. Every bite makes one pause to savor the amazing combination of flavors. Each course brought a new favorite after thinking the last couldn’t be topped. It was a 2 hour drive, a train ride and a cab to get there from home and we would do it again without a second thought. Truly a memorable dining experience.

It is very special when you can walk in to a restaurant and feel like you’re dining surrounded by family..that is the feeling we get every time we walk in to Jungsik. Our meal this evening was wonderful, as usual. Every course was delicious. Finally getting to try the truffle cone was the highlight of the night. Now I can’t wait to have it again. Many thanks to George, Catherine, and Tim for another memorable evening.

Staff were really nice there. People are talking about the dishes in a great passion. The food tastes more like a French cuisine than a Korean one, but they do use some Korean spice and sauce to tune up the tastes. The desserts were also good. Most of them were not sweet so that I can finish them even if I was already really full. The Pinot Noir grape juice was awesome!

Amazing service - everyone was attentive but not overly so. The food was thoughtfully put together, with some surprising flavor and texture combinations here and there. I selected Jungsik for my birthday dinner in NYC with my mom and wife. I couldn’t of been more pleased with the selection. The service was best in class if not better than some of the finer restaurants that I’ve eaten out in Europe. The ingredients were extremely fresh, very different than your standard fine dining food, and I couldn’t of been more pleased with the selection. We had the signature menu and I am so glad that we did. I would recommend this restaurant anyone anyone who is looking for a unique fine dining experience that is extremely memorable and fun!
