Jump Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Service was fast and friendly. Went for lunch with a colleague and we both had pasta. The Beef & Boar Bolognese was excellent! My friend really enjoyed the Chicken & Mushroom Alfredo. She asked for a rose sauce and was accommodated no problem. Glasses of wine are pricey at $19 for 9oz. Overall great experience.
We came for our annual girls Christmas get together, we wanted to go somewhere special and Jump was recommended. The service was outstanding, it's a beautiful setting and this meal was the best meal I have had in a long time. The quality and creativity were outstanding. Every single one of us loved our app and meal. I also found this high quality beautiful meal to be very good value. Highly recommended!!
What a brilliant evening. The age range of our group was 21 to 73 and everyone had a terrific time. That's the sign of an excellent restaurant. Food was super - service outstanding and the atmosphere fun for all. Such a friendly classy place with great vibe.
Food was amazing. I ordered the pork chop which was absolutely delicious. My date ordered the short rib which was fall off the bone perfect. Both entree’s were cooked and seasoned deliciously. I had called a few days before our reservation to request a table which didn’t have a lot of traffic as I had recently injured my knee and was restricted to wearing a leg splint and wanted to avoid it being bumped or tripped over. As soon as we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted and was informed where the nearest accessible washroom was and guided to the perfect table where my leg had enough room to be extended and away from any traffic.
Our waiter had a number of large parties he was also serving but was supported by the serving staff ensuring any of our needs were attended to without delay.
I could not have asked for a better setting to celebrate my dates birthday. Everything was on point! From the host that greeted and seated us to the wait staff that served us, you all made her birthday an memorable experience for us both.
We have been coming to jump for years and are never disappointed with its upbeat and urban feel. The menu is always interesting and the server was attendant without hovering. It was busy including a corporate event, neither of which detracted from the atmosphere.
We had a great evening at Jump. The food was brilliant. 2 huge scallops appetizer, then we both tried pasta dishes. Beef & Boar Bolognese with bucatini was excellent. Can't wait to have it again. My partner had the King Crab Carbonara and loved it. So much flavor in both dishes. Dessert special was perfect to finish off a fun evening. We will be back !!!!
Unfortunately 4 of us went for dinner and did not have a good experience . It was only 530pm and service was slow and mediocre at best , but sadly the entrees were nothing to ride home about. Mushroom soup had no flavour , where it should be bursting with it , especially seeing as it was suppose to have truffle oil on it. Seafood pesto pasta dish just looked like pasta with “green cream “ all over it and no pesto taste what so ever, in fact it tasted strangely of citrus ! My husband had the other pasta dish which I think I was a bison Bolognese and he said it had no flavour at all! Another friend had a burger and fries which fries tasted great, but if you can’t get a burger and fries plate right then there’s some serious issues ...
Overall not the best experience ... for such a limited menu the food should be bursting with flavour ..
My husband and I were visiting from the US and it was our first time at the restaurant. The venue and atmosphere were inviting (no complaints about walking and seeing a large collection of scotch and whiskey gracing the wall!). The food was outstanding and the service was great. We really appreciated how all the various ingredients and components in the dishes were explained to us without even asking. We started with the scallops and treated with a 'muse' from the kitchen before our main entrees arrived. We had the bison lasagne (nice to see bison dishes on the menu!) and beef and boar bolognese which were wonderful! The staff all worked together as a team and we were not wanting for anything! If we make it back to Toronto, this is one of the places we visit again!!
Terrific food. Tuna tartare amazing, scallops huge and lamb perfect. Then there was a tasty dessert special (banana layered sponge cake with chocolate, caramel, coconut). Perfect service and on a very busy night. Its the team work that seems to make it all work so well.
Service was good, food was not good except for the lamb . Staff was great but overall the food was not good... tuna tartar tasted horrible , the soup was ok , the pasta was undercooked. The rest of our crowd did not like any of the things they had....but the restaurant is beautiful and service is great!
WOW - what a party. Took a friend for her 50th Birthday and we all had a blast. The staff and kitchen were AMAZING - we totally loved the food but what was really impressive was the great attitude of all the staff who worked together to give us the best possible experience. You are the BEST !!!!
Jump is a consistently excellent restaurant that delivers what it promises - a fun time with great food, super service and real value for the price. We had an amazing scallops starter - 2 huge beautifully cooked beauties and then the special - a perfect rack of lamb. Tasty dessert to finish. Brilliant !
While my fiancé and I are no strangers to the beautiful cuisine from the O & B restaurants, Jump took it next level. The tartare was a lovely combination of sweet, sour, tartness and a touch of heat.
Our mains were also really yummy- i loved the experience of tasting the bison lasagna while he had the bucatini w/ pork & wild boar bolognese.
Dessert however was what capped off a lovely meal (and a means of celebrating my birthday early!). the Pastry Chef's creation that day was rich, and balanced with the poached pear, cinnamon tuille & salted caramel sauce. It was a pleasure & a joy to dine here for the first time- we hope to be back again someday.

Bonne nourriture, mais très mauvais service ( aucune attention pour ma table, un des serveur a même voulu enlever le pain, le sel et le poivre alors que j'étais toujours en attente du plat principal).
Pour finir, le prix du vin est vraiment exagéré.
