Julington Creek Fish Camp Ratings and Reviews
Loved our visit to Julington Creek Fish Camp! We had a scallop and bacon appetizer, a fried grouper bite appetizer, and shared a Greek Salad. We purposely saved room for the bread pudding dessert topped with ice cream. Our server, Amanda, expertly guided us through these choices. Would recommend to anyone!
This was our first time at the restaurant and it is a very clean, cozy place with really nice views. The service was great however the food was a disappointment. In addition to the taste of the food, 2 out of 4 people in our party got sick from the food. I will not return to this restaurant unfortunately.
Service was horrible. Shrimp was overdone.
Hush puppies were so hard that I was afraid to eat them. Didn’t get side order with entree. Had to ask server three times for sides.
Drink special- mule was excellent.
Note: have been here multiple times and food was good. First bad experience.
This restaurant has delivered quality food every time we have been there. Our recent experience was no different. My spouse and I went on New Year’s Eve for dinner. The fried shrimp dinner was awesome. Portions are large so be prepared for leftovers. The scallop dinner special was very tasty. Service was spot on. While the restaurant is noisy it makes for a lively atmosphere great for people watching.
Unfortunately, very disappointed (for the first time), three out of the four meals were not prepared as requested. Had to return two of the three and sat and watched as our guests ate before us! When our two meals returned, my collard greens were on the same plate as my blackened salmon and the vinegar ran into my fish, which was not good.
Having eaten at Julington Fish Camp several times in the past few years, this meal was, in part, not as good as most. While much of the food was well prepared two items were disappointing; the calamari was clearly dated and tasted old and stale. The trout - previously done well - is now served stacked like a pancake so that the fish quickly becomes too soggy (it's over-breaded) and over-cooked. Would encourage them to serve single pieces across the plate.
Service was quite good; the noise level - as always - was loud.
We had a great date night. Cocktails, food and service was great. The staff was friendly, helpful and tended to your every need. Would recommend to everyone, especially if you like fresh seafood. We were very impressed with everything. Everyone to the service staff to people dining there were very friendly. You could tell that a lot of people dining that night were regulars. A great dining experience. We can’t wait to return.
Julington is the BEST! Top food, wonderful seafood creations, and the service is outstanding. The staff never blinks at special requests. Love to sit outside on the patio. Delicious cocktails. What's more to say. It is our "go-to" place. Never had a dish that wasn't top notch.
The shrimp and grits were excellent. The broiled seafood platter was also very good. One person in our party had the steak special which included a gorgonzola sauce and he said it was delicious. The service was outstanding. Waiter Greg was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the specials for that night. He was friendly and made it a wonderful dining experience. The key lime pie was great! Drinks were perfect. I can't wait to go back and try some other dinners on the menu.
