Lately, the food has been over-salted. Perhaps, they have a new chef. Otherwise, a nice place!

Our second visit in two days. Not quite as good as the first, but likely only because the restaurant was much busier with two private parties. The "pork cheeks" were super as was the roasted cauliflower. The creamy avocado soup drew outright raves.

Easily one of the best meals in a long time. The octopus is fantastic. The cheese and sausage selection makes a great starter. The House Chards are are almost too drinkable. And, to top it off, our waitress was pleasant, attentive and very menu-wise.

Food here never disappoint, so does the wine selection. It seemed like a slow night last Saturday, the restaurant was not full. The waiter gave excellent recommendations, but there were times when we had to wave more than once to get their attention to order more food or dessert. Aside from that, no complaints.

I would recommend the Cauliflower Appetizer - this was so tasty. The chopped chicken salad was great. also, my friend had the home made potato chips and they were so light crisp and flavorful.

Have loved this place for a long time. Met recently for a business lunch, introducing my business companion to this restaurant, which he really appreciated and is now adding it to his list. The wine menu is very good and tasty. The food is beautifully prepared and very well presented.

This was a recommendation from our friends at the Wine Exchange. We are admitted wine snobs and foodies. This was the perfect place for us. A varied menu for those of us who want a meatless meal with lots of veggies and for the person who was craving a burger for comfort food.
Our server was fabulous and wanted to make sure that our wine selections were perfect. Brought us a few tastings to make sure. We will return!

My wife and I are big fans of Juliette and go there every month or two. Inside tables can get quite noisy, so request to sit outside if noise level matters. What I wanted to highlight in this review is their cheese and charcuterie selections, which are always excellent and very well presented. No other restaurant in the area matches Juliette's quality on this score. And Horacio always delivers them with style and a smile.

After hearing about Juliette for several years we finally dined there Saturday night. The place did not disappoint! Very impressed with the quality of the food, presentation and service. My husband ordered the famous Juliette burger and declared it one of the best he'd ever had. The desserts were also outstanding! We look forward to going back soon and trying more dishes.

My husband and I enjoyed Juliette very much! The food was excellent. We had: kale salad, octopus, mussels, french fries and the duck breast. We shared everything and it was all so yummy! We chose a great bottle of wine from the "shop" and really just had a fun and enjoyable evening. The service was great and I like the vibe at Juliette. Looking forward to going again, soon.

Low beef quality and old meat.
Asked for medium rare . Brought out over cooked meat.
Swordfish was not fresh (old) and dried. Again overcooked.
Salad was good but very very small portion.

We shared three small plates (farro rissotto was excellent) and 1 main dish each. All the food was very good. Desert was lovely as well (pineapple upside down cake with cinamon ice cream. Server was quite attentive, although he did not know much about the wine we were interested in. My only complaint is the cost.

Juliette was ok this last time we went. Went for a business lunch and service was pretty slow. I usually also love the burger- but it was overdone this time even though I ordered it medium rare- and by the time I finally got it- it was too late to send it back. My biggest beef though- was that I wanted fries with my burger and it only came with chips- and they didn't even allow for me to upgrade. So- I ordered a whole order of fries, and then had chips as well.

We arrived early because we had not seen each other in nearly a year. We knew we would be talking and catching up. The service was quite quick because we were the only people there at first. We lingered because we had much to talk about and our waitress seemed a little unhappy that we were taking up a table for nearly two hours.

The food is amazing and very interesting combinations. We had a beet salad with chicken and the trout salad. Both excellent!

Certain items were good but the portions are small not enough for a full meal. This should be in the $$$ category and definitely not a romantic spot. Limited wine menu more of a mix drink place. Service horribly small the complained about being busy but half the tables were empty.

We have been to Juliette several times and always enjoy the unique and creative menu.
Dishes are very well done, three of us had the burger--wonderful flavors and not too big
which was appreciated/. Interesting cocktails, good wines by glass and wine list.
Prices are reasonable for such interesting and high quality food.

Have returned here again and again. Every time the food is excellent, service professional, knowledgeable and warm. Tried the duck breast with blueberries this time and it was excellent. Companions had the hanger steak and burgers. All delicious. Salads and veggie sides were yummy. Good wine selection made for excellent pairings.

My wife and I are fans of Juliette and returned last week after months away from California. It didn't disappoint. We usually start with the cheese and charcuterie appetizer because the chef is always able to provide ever-changing and always delicious options. We then split a wonderful roasted beet salad and a duck leg confit. Service was both attentive and unobtrusive -- the best combination. Choose the outdoor seating area if you want a quieter ambiance. All in all, a very nice evening.

We are spoiled here in the Newport Beach area with a ton of fantastic restaurants, and Juliette can easily compete with the best of the best in the area. Dan, the Chef, is unbelievable at putting together flavors and dishes that you don't see at any other restaurant, along with everything you would normally expect at a higher end restaurant. He is truly an artisan and loves to talk about how/why each dish was created. I have never been disappointed with the food, wine or service. I highly recommend it.

Miniscule portions...mains sized as appetizers, and upcharged to boot. Good, but not worth the effort to go back. One of our group had the hamburger...and it was delicious. Stick with that or risk disappointment. Owner promptly came to the table when we questioned the portions, and she did offer (a) dessert to share amongst the four of us. Probably a great place for lunch or an after-work drink/apps. Wine list was interesting...but priced accordingly. Suffice to say, $150+ for four to nibble isn't my idea of a good time.
