The waiter was very kind and attentive, but overall the service was kinda slow. I think was due to how busy it was. Food tasted great and everyone loved what they ordered.

My friends and I arrived a little early for our brunch reservation, but we're still able to get seated. Our servers and food were delightful! This is a great little neighborhood spot and I look forward to returning.

DO NOT come here with a vegan/if you are vegan, there are zero options that don't consist of just a side of roasted potatoes. This was my first visit to Julia's post-COVID, and a LOT has changed. We took some out of town visitors there for brunch and discovered that the menu is about half of what it used to be, and what remains skews heavily toward the egg-based classic dishes (Benedicts, scrambles, huevos rancheros, biscuits and gravy) with only a few options that weren't egg or meat focused (pancakes and waffles). Their menu was previously extensive with a ton of options for everybody (a wide variety of egg dishes, oatmeal, yogurt w/granola, cinnamon rolls, etc.) and I get why it's been pared down, which is totally understandable, I know that the restaurant industry has changed and to stay open many places have had to get lean and mean. That said, there is now nothing on the menu that I wanted to eat as a pescaterian who doesn't like eggs and would rather not start the day with a sugar bomb. My former go-to was one of the scrambles with tofu instead of eggs, or sometimes the granola and yogurt, and both no longer on the menu. I asked if they had tofu just to confirm, and they did not. The other people in my party were happy with their meals (classic Benedicts and biscuits and gravy) and I ordered the pancakes, which were fine but just not what I ever want for breakfast. I'd send people here for breakfast in the future, but I won't be coming back.

The food was just average… nothing special. Tastes like something I could have easily cooked at home. Service was just okay. Bathroom was dirty. Can’t say that I will be back.

Julia's of today is not the Julia's they have been in the past. When we walked in, several of the empty tables had dirty dishes on them from previous customers. The bread on my $15 sandwich was stale and the bread on my husband's Monte Cristo was not up to par either. $5 for a "can" of pop was a bit much. Wish we would have had a better experience. The waiter was great though.

Our son and grandson were visiting from Ohio. It was a father-son trip celebrating our grandson’s Senior Year in High School to see the UW Huskies Football game, the Seattle Mariners and Seattle SeaHawks. Julia’s is a memorable place representing the U District in a laid back neighborhood restaurant. The staff were friendly, super busy for a Sunday morning and attentive to keeping coffee cups filled. We started out with a mimosa. Short stack, waffles and more. Yum! Good food!

One review said best GF pancakes they'd ever had, and I have to agree! They were good, period.....but especially for being Gluten Free. And can't beat $16 mimosa pitchers. Would definitely go back!

Very friendly, accommodating, and casual brunch spot. Super fast, high-quality food. Outdoor patio could use a fan on the hot days, but other than that it was amazing, will be coming back again and making it a frequent spot to come to for brunch.

Absolutely I’m love with this place. As a celiac their gluten free menu is a dream: chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, pancakes!!! Staff are lovely and the area is wonderful for a walk.

It was an oddly beautiful day in Seattle. Me and a friend just wanted brunch and picked this place. Loved the presentation and homey vibe. French toast is yummy, the potatoes are good too, just wish they tasted as seasoned as they look. The food didn’t take long at all. I had a good time and will return.

The restaurant was closed when we got there for our reservation. No one inside, lights off doors locked. I was meeting a friend who drove from out of town to meet here. I had this reservation since the day before, the website and Google said they were open. There is no note on the door and no hours posted on the door of the business. I had to scramble to find another restaurant to go to on a Tuesday morning. Very disappointing. I get things happen, but the restaurant should take a second to at least cancel reservations if they know the place is not opening.
