The mimosas are a rip off. The bloody Mary was terrible. Overall, this place has gone so far downhill, I will never go back!
The food was absolutely amazing!!!! So freaking good and the service was outstanding! He was super kind and very attentive! This is for sure a hidden gem!
The restaurant was closed when we got there for our reservation. No one inside, lights off doors locked. I was meeting a friend who drove from out of town to meet here. I had this reservation since the day before, the website and Google said they were open. There is no note on the door and no hours posted on the door of the business. I had to scramble to find another restaurant to go to on a Tuesday morning. Very disappointing. I get things happen, but the restaurant should take a second to at least cancel reservations if they know the place is not opening.
Julia's is amazing! Great food, excellent service, and low-key neighborhood vibes. What more can you ask for?
Nice neighborhood find. Good assortment of brunch offerings, sandwiches, etc. Good coffee.
Delicious brunch and great Covid safe patio set up!
Well…they were open. But the food was mediocre at best.
Such a perfect spot for breakfast! Efficient, delicious, and lots of outdoor seating
Our server was so nice, I didn't catch his name but he was seriously great.
Our server was so kind and on top of everything. Brunch was some of the best we’ve ever had.
Excellent food and service!! A definite recommend.
This place is no longer the sweet spot it used to be. Sad decor, music very loud, terrible food. Server was
Julia's is a warm, casual neighborhood spot that I love to go to for easy brunches with my friends. Great brunch menu and - oddly - I most appreciate that their side of fruit is actually good fruit (slice of watermelon, berries, grapes, other seasonals).
We had a wonderful brunch on a Sunday. We made a reservation ahead of time and seated immediately on the back patio. Our server was great and had fun conversation. All of our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. I had the breakfast tacos and a mimosa. I would highly recommend a trip to Julia’s!
We had a reservation. It took 15 min after being seated to have our order taken, or have water and coffee offered. Another 10 min to place our order. Then we waited 50 min for our breakfast order of 2 eggs and bacon. Had to ask for utensils, more water. Our waiter basically just seated us, took our order and we never saw him again. Someone from the kitchen ended up delivering our food. The bacon was all fat and undercooked, served in a puddle of oil. The toast was under toasted and limp. We had to go up to the hostess to request our check. The French toast was tasteless and soggy. Quite a disappointment from the Julia’s we use to know! Poor service, and poor food quality. We complained when asking for our check and the they ended up comping our meal which they should have. We could have understood being short handed, but the how they handled it and the poor food quality did not redeem the situation.
We enjoyed our brunch at Julia’s. Something on the menu for everyone! Food took awhile to come out but arrived hot and well plated. We sat outside on the back deck. Got noisy sometimes but not too bad. Good price point for brunch in Seattle! We live in the neighborhood so we’ll be back and we’d be happy to bring visitors here as well.
Our visit was Mother's day breakfast so understandably they were on the busy side. Very friendly and polite staff. Quick and efficient communication. However the quality of my biscuits and gravy was subpar. Biscuits were squashed flat like pancakes and had no fluff to them. The gravy roux still had clumps of flour and did not contain any pork sausage as the menu indicated. My medium eggs order were so runny that even the whites were runny. I am assuming at the expo line there was another plate of gluten free, vegan, overy easy eggs and that my plate got swapped and someone else with gluten allergies and resilience to animal meat was given a tasty treat of fluffy biscuits, savory sausage gravy, and firmer eggs.
Overall it was a meh experience. The staff and service was fantastic. The food, not so much.
Food was delisted
Delicious and large breakfast for a good value!
I ordered the chicken and waffles breakfast, amazing!
The waffles were a good size, soft, moist and not dense. The chicken was friend chicken thighs which is a great option for breakfast.
Staff is friendly, although a few of them seem to be in a rush and they did not let me finish what I was ordering / requesting before they took off.
The food is great overall
Price - value is fair, and reasonable
I would def. go here again.
Made reservations for outside days in advanced. When we got there told to sit anywhere, only good seats were inside but was able to find a spot outside, just not in the nice area and not comfortable. Not even sure if the reservations were needed. Wish we would have got the front outside seats since we planned ahead. Food was ok, servers seemed a little lost at times. May have just been due to a crazy busy morning. We did go on a really nice weather day.
Amazing brunch experience! Amazing food, great service, such good pricing for Seattle. Will be back ASAP!
Great experience. We were able to sit outside and the waiter was very attentive !
Great quality of food. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Best home fries ever.. same goes for orange French toast and fried steak.. Biscuits and gravy need a bit more flavor and more gravy on Biscuits as there was barely any on there. Other than that, I would go again. Will make another reservation next time I'm in town. :-)
Delicious breakfast. The servers were awesome. The food came out hot and perfectly prepared. Thanks for all the coffee refills. Great Sunday morning breakfast.
Great coffee, cool wait staff, and the food is incredible. My only regret is I only get through here once or twice a year. But when I do... I’ll be here.
Great neighborhood spot for breakfast all-day!!
Good experience during COVID. Outside dining. Pets allowed. Could benefit from outdoor heaters
Food was good. Attendants could have been more attentive. We were asked about a coffee refill after 1 hour. There was only 1 other table occupied and the toilet paper was out in the women’s bathroom.
Julia’s was excellent given the current climate. Attentive and friendly staff, great service, wonderful food, and safe dining.
Our brunch was delicious and enormous ( but not unmanageably so ). Service was excellent!
This was my first time out to brunch since Covid, and Julia’s did not disappoint. Delicious, plentiful food, and a good value. Not my first visit, but it was for my friend, and he looks forward to returning as well.
this is a wonderful place where they happily and safely can accommodate celiacs disease and the food is amazing and we’ve never been sick from cross contamination. 10/10 recommend for celiacs and non-celiacs!
Excellent brunch menu with lots to choose from. Mimosa pitchers is a phenomenal idea!
Is okay experience. support the local business. not super good or bad. Average experience. Family own business so they are friendly. Food is so-so.
Great food and great service.
Returned to this Cafe with my wife after many years (we had our first date here). Remembered it as being stellar, but it was just OK. Server seemed unprepared for customers, the food was standard diner quality, and the ambiance was...eh.
It was a fine brunch experience in this neighborhood restaurant overall, though the ending was a downer. It was not terribly busy or crowded for a Sunday and when we asked the waiter to split the check 3 ways (3 couples) he acted as if it were a huge imposition (granted, it’s a small imposition) and came back twice to clarify what we ordered, complaining about the request, then brought out the wrong split anyway. We appeared to be one of very few tables and the only one closing out at that time.
Julia’s is a great little cafe for brunch. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and loved it. This a small, local restaurant that can get super packed on the weekend but the staff is always kind and fast. Expect a bit of a wait to be seated but food comes out quickly.
For a basic breakfast, this was OK but the eggs benedict sauce had a weird flavor and the fried country potatoes were mushy. Service was good and attentive, no complaints there.
