We had been looking forward to Indian food and got a pleasant table by the window and friendly service. But the food was disappointing. The prawn pakoras were OK, the prawns well cooked, generous portion but odd tasting batter. That was the best of it. The chicken and lamb main causes had unpleasant spicing, not to our taste and not like any other Indian food we have had. Sadly, very disappointing.
The food at Judge's was delicious. The lamb biriyani and chili chicken were some of the best tasting Indian food these visiting Americans have had in a long long time. Not sure if my husband's chicken was supposed to come with the customary side of rice or we should have ordered that separately but no rice was supplied and since our server never even looked our way again once the food was delivered we never got a chance to ask for some. The naan was also smaller than we are used too and would have been better off ordering one per person rather than sharing like we do back home.
These might be things we need to learn about a new restaurant but we don't need remediation on just how delicious the food is. Yum.
Nice little place with great food and more of a modern decor. Delightful!
Food was good and reasonably priced. Food was brought out in a timely manor but waiter service was less than stellar. Water refill didn't come around until we finished our meals and after waiting 10 minutes for our bill we went to them to pay. Not enough for me not to come back.
craved Indian from the old neighbourhood so my lady and I came over from Olympic village.
great flavours and service ( except for the pickles.. an acquired taste)
Nice family run and family friendly Indian restaurant and very reasonable
Good food and great service.
Not sophisticated at all ... If you want something "fancy" it's not the place to go.
I will return!
