    Joe gave us fantastic service. Food was good mahi mahi was excellent but it was a little cold ! Burger was good and steaks were ok. Overall a good experience.

    Our server Ebban was excellent. We had chicken and salmon which were both delicious. The restaurant space could be more welcoming as the tables were pushed up against the wall like you might see in a cafeteria. Also the windows and fixtures need a good dusting. The store has been there for decades but it shouldn’t look like it.

    We visited JTK for the first time for our 5th wedding anniversary after having read reviews and hearing from others that it was a great place for a romantic dinner. We went in with the expectation of a quiet intimate atmosphere but were surprised that, on that particular night, it was anything but. The venue is rather small, consisting of only two rooms with maybe 10 tables/booths in each room. There is also a small bar in the main room. It is a gorgeous venue, with all original wood and tasteful decor. It was a bit bright in there and the air was a bit heavy with a smokiness that I assumed was from the kitchen area. We were initially sat in the back room, in a far corner. For 8pm on a Friday evening at an establishment that had such a reputation for being a "date spot", we were surprised to see that there were a couple of families with children in there and groups gathered wearing sports apparel. We sat down and were immediately greeted by our server, Sidney. It was so loud where we were seated, we could not hear her. She had to repeat herself several times. With the space being so small and the noise level being so loud from the other patrons, we could feel the sound reverberating off the walls. Sidney was absolutely fabulous though and quickly arranged for us to be moved to a different table in the front room where it was much quieter. The highlight of our evening was having Sidney as our server. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant experience at JTK. She wasn't even aware that it was our anniversary until well into the evening, so it's not like she was treating us extra special because of that. When it came time for our desert, we ordered the blueberry bread pudding (delicious!) which comes with a blueberry compote, and she had the chef drizzle it in the shape of the heart, which was sweet of her. As for the food, we both enjoyed what we ordered. We will definitely be going back!

    Disappointing dinner - waiter was good, attentive, etc. But 4 of us order filets and 2 of those were to be medium rare, yet all came out medium to medium well. Plus, vegetables and fingerling potatoes could have been cooked a little longer. Not worth the price, unfortunately.

    Food was great and excellent value (date night special). Server was very accommodating and attentive. Only downside — the old fashioned we ordered was very watered down, which is disappointing for a place that specializes in bourbon and whiskeys. 4/5 stars for sure!

    Whenever we are in Lincoln we make it a point to come here. The food is outstanding and the service is above and beyond that. Evan is remarkable! Trust me, ask for Evan he’s worth it!!!

    The chicken piccata was extremely tough and dry. We were seated facing out towards people (in a half moon table) so we couldn’t have an intimate dinner. It was loud. Service started good, then faded towards the end.

    Great filet and awesome croutons in salad and lovely blueberry bread pudding Awesome meal for two with wine drinks etc and reasonable prices to us. Gave waitress 40 dollar tip on 100 dollar meal. More people should be going to this place. It’s a Lincoln gem!

    Our server was very good. Best we’ve had at JTK in a long time. My cosmo was very small. Came in a coup, and it was about half full. The rest of the drinks were fine. Two in our party ordered the normally delicious Waygu burgers medium. They were both cooked well. I had the appetizer meatballs for my main. I didn’t care for the flavor and they were very dry. The fries were fabulous as always, as was the salmon salad. It may not have been our best meal there but we’ll be back.

    Ordered Wagyu special Wow quite possibly the best steak of my life. Hubby ordered jalapeño burger , while jealous of my steak , he thought his burger was one of the best he has had. Drinks were delicious Server was pleasant

    The food was ok. Nothing special. The website advertises that they have a vegetarian menu upon request, which is inaccurate. There is not one available, but a single dish with no choices. Service was good, ambiance was nice, but I wouldn’t return and will dine elsewhere in Lincoln.

    We love the place and enjoyed our first visit. I was disappointed in the surf and turf, because I feel like four small shrimp on top of the steak was not impressive. The restaurant was very smoky and made the experience disappointing. My wife and I both had red eyes and clogged up heads when we left. Staff said that sometimes it got smoky in there. Overall, we loved the environment and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We will come back!

    We arrived early to our reservation and got seated right away. The service was great, food delicious from appetizer all the way to dessert. First time dinning at JTK and will definitely be returning!

    Dinner was sub-par in the preparations. (Parts of the meal over cooked or improperly cooked) and for the money you are charged for a plate you expect it to be at least good if not mind blowing good. I'm not cheap by any means but they are awfully proud of the pricing of their menus (drinks included) the wait staff was pleasant but other than that it was just mediocre.
