Apparently this restaurant is closed. When we arrived at 6:30p, the parking lot was completely empty, zero cars.
FIrst, the food wasn't bad at all. The service was good. Everything else was... interesting. First of all the AC wasn't working. On one of the hottest days of the year. I told the hostess that we had reservations. She said "Where did you make them, online?" I said "Yes, on opentable." She says "Oh we don't check those." The place was empty so it wasn't a big deal. But I found it odd. They had fans set out all over the restaurant since the AC was out. The waiter told us that the AC had been out for a few days when in reality when I look back at the reviews (which I should have done before we went!) it looks like the AC has been out for 3-4 weeks. He said they couldn't get anyone out to look at it. The place is in poor shape. The varnish on all of the tables is peeling up so they are all sticky, the carpet (!) on the floor is so nasty that your shoes stick to it. Again, they STICK TO CARPET. I didn't know that was possible. The menus are literally falling apart. There is a hallway to the bathroom and ALL of the lights were out. It was pitch black. I couldn't even see which was the ladies room until I got right up to the door. There were ceiling tiles missing, writing on the walls, holes in the walls, etc. in the bathroom. It was truly bizarre. It was like an abandoned building... but... with a restaurant in it. However, the food was actually decent, the kitchen appears clean, and the service was fine. My husband and I give the place a month. Although it looks like they've been operating under these cicumstances for a while.
This was a poor experience for my birthday dinner. The ac was broken for starters. There was only a few waiters so service was long and slow. There must not have been a trained chef because the steaks were overcooked and food took over 45 minutes to be served. Several people walked out after realizing what was going on. There was a metal clasp from the pasta package in my food. The managers response was apathetic and made the evening even more disappointing. I felt bad for the wait staff and hostesses who were trying to take care of the guests.
No Ac, wait staff never came to our table after 30 of waiting, host didn't care that we had no server, drinks, it was highly recommended, we will never be back, we made a reservation table was never made for us and host was put out that he had to help put 6 chairs together and he said they were too busy.... 6 tables out of your whole place was filled. Bad staff, bad everything, we will tell everyone in the whole Columbia area to NEVER go to the restaurant.
I was able to make a reservation which was great help with a party of 8. Server was polite, food was tasty, but kitchen needs to coordinate orders better . The food came out at different times - I was almost finished eating by the time the last two of my guests' plates were finally served.
JP 4 Corners offers an interesting menu with some good choices for both steak- lovers and those who prefer a less hearty meal. The atmosphere is comfortably rustic and the location is convenient for a night out with dinner and a movie at the cinema across the parking lot. The staff were very pleasant and we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
We left after ordering drinks. When we arrived the hostess looked at us as though we shouldn't be there. It was 11am and there open hours was 11am. I asked if they were open and she said yes. We continued to walk in and i told her i have a reservation on open table. She informed me after looking and complaining that she couldnt check me in because she didnt know where the tablet was located. She proceeded to seat us with 3 adult menus. We asked our server for a kids menu and she told us there was a section in the menu. We looked through all 2 pages and no kids menu. She finally walked up to the front and got a kids menu then took our drink order. She came back with the glass of water and sprite for my baby but informed me that they had to make the tea. My question was were you all expecting guest at all. They were so very unprepared and not customer friendly. I told my kids we would find somewhere else to go. This was my 3rd time at this restaurant and all 3 were horrible. I will not be returning. If your sign says 11am you should be ready to serve your customers. The service in this restaurant is the worst I've ever seen.
Food cold. Ribs fatty. Garlic mashed potatoes sour.

I've been here several times and each time the restaurant is empty but takes forever to receive the food. It took 45 mins to receive a salad and when the rest of the food was received it was cold. We were not pleased with the service yet again and will not be returning.
Good overall. However, I ordered my steak medium and they sent it rare. It was still good but not even close to medium. If I was someone who doesn't eat rare meat, it would have been a huge issue.
The place is nice, the service was great and the food was average. The wine selection is limited. My steak tasted like gas from the grill. The salad was good. Our favorite place is Solstice and this is not on the same level. For convenience, this would be fine if you are at the Village. Overall, needs some attention to detail but ok.
Open Table reservation was not honored. We ended up waiting for a table like everyone else. Others in the lobby said their reservation was not honored as well. Once seated we waited a while for a drink order because there seemed to only be a few servers for the entire restaurant. The food was good but not worth $25 for a ribeye. Only saw the waitress once during the meal and that was towards the end so no chance to ask for anything. Waitress was nice, though.
It was disappointing to make a reservation using Open Table only to arrive to the restaurant and hostess tell us, "Yeah, everyone has a reservation. I can put your name down." Seemed very unorganized and unprepared to have any sort of dinner "crowd." Food was mediocre, not bad not great. Service was lackluster from the host/hostess and the server maybe said three words to us the entire time.
Took my wife for Valentines day. What a dissapointment. Made reservations on line. They did not honor mine nor others. Waited 1 hour with 16 tables open. Left and not to return. Bad management and poor host. Never go back and do not recommend.
Made reservation online and the restaurant said that our online reservations were worthless. And we had to wait an hour for a table.
Restaurant refused to honor any reservations made for that night and informed us that it was at least a 20 minute wait despite there being several unoccupied tables. Host staff was rude. We he. We complained about them not honoring confirmed reservations, we were told "not our problem". I will not go back!
Great food and table service once we were seated. Our reservation seating was 45 minutes behind and clearly they were unprepared for the holiday rush. The staff was warm and friendly, maintaining an upbeat attitude even with angry people!
First visit. Too soon to decide if I would recommend. They allowed reservations to be made online then wanted us to wait 20 minutes behind people who just walked in because they weren't supposed to make reservations. How long do you need to be in business to know you have to monitor your web presence? And there were many open tables. Still, after talking to the manager, we were seated. After that, the experience was good. We will go again to see if it holds up. The waitress was excellent and food was very good.
Would not honor the reservation, claimed that their Open Table was not working. Lobby full of people with the same issue. The person at the reception desk was not helpful and was quite rude. Gave many excuses and even stated that even if we did have a table the food would not come out timely as they busy and understaffed. How can you be understaffed on Valentines Day? Did not stay, used Open Table to find another option and it was fantastic ( nice job Blue Fin). I will not return to JP mostly due to the horrible attitude of the staff and I will not recommend JPs to anyone.
Service was awful. Steak was loaded with fat and gristle. I will not return. I would not recommend this restaurant
It was a horrible experience!!! My wife wanted to go there for Valentines Day bad idea. The service was very slow and when I got the brisket I order it was ice cold. They warmed the entire plate up and it was still Luke warm. We will never go there again. The manager was just walking around like she didn't have a care in the world.
Made reservation for Valentine's Day...big mistake! Online reservation was not honored, front desk staff were short, rude, indifferent and unattentive. Food was mediocre at best, no atmosphere whatsoever, it feels like you are eating in a high school dinner hall!
Best part of the experience was Kevin behind the bar, who was running the bar and having to attend to patrons sat in bar area. Hats off to you Kevin, you are a trooper, and I am sure will not be working at this restaurant for long. Should have gone to Chick Fil A, where the food is good and staff are friendly!
My husbands birthday is on Valentine's Day so most places are busy and requires an advanced reservation. We have eaten at 4 corners before and he enjoyed the food before so I figure why not take him to something that had open reservations and was close. I booked the reservation, got a confirmation email, and we were looking forward to a quiet evening alone to celebrate. Upon walking in to the restaurant, I told the host that I had a reservation. He said, "For chuck?" And I said no and proceeded to tell him my name. He asked if I had made the reservation online and when I said yes, He rolled his eyes at me. Immediately I had a feeling we shouldn't eat there. My husband noticed a sign behind him that said no reservations for Valentine's Day and I questioned why was I supposed to make a reservation online then? The place was not busy and many booths were available; however, we were sat at a table in the middle of floor while most others were in booths. After a few minutes the waitress came and took our drink orders. Then approximately 5 minutes later came back and asked is if we wanted to go ahead and order because the bar tender was behind. We said no that we'd wait until we at least got out drinks. We sat there for 15 minutes and still hadn't received our drinks. Like I said, it was not that busy and most people around us were drinking sodas or water. We left. The customer service was awful, the timeliness was not satisfying, and the dissatisfaction of the employees was noticeable. We will not be returning.
We had a confirmed reservation and it was not honored. Waited 30 minutes for a table. Completely unprofessional. Open Table should remove this restaurant from their restaurant listing. I will never recommend this restaurant. Special occasion was ruined.
They could not find our reservation. The host was not very nice and said "well I checked for reservations and it's not there so there must be something wrong with the system" . I expected from a more upscale restaurant that the staff would be better trained to at least say "I am sorry let me see how we can solve this". Instead if turning his back and talking to another staff member. I know if it had been very busy we would have had to wait without an apology. I almost left at that point because I thought if this is the kind of service and staff you have I am not sure I want to eat here. We stayed however. The food was enjoyable and the wait staff pleasant and attentive. I will hope the next time that the host will at least be as nice and pleasant as the staff at Chic-Fil-A.

Ever since they switched from Arizonas's, the food has been horrible. I have given them numerous chances because their location is so convenient before or after a movie. Unfortunately it hasn't gotten any better! We had a reservation through Open Table, but the hostess said that they really don't check there, so we had to wait for a table. There were only two other parties in the entire restaurant!! Their famous prime rib and onion soup, that was always a favorite of mine, was filled with fat and gristle. Burger was so over cooked, it couldn't be eaten. Was sent back and took forever even though the restaurant was almost empty and the waitress said that it would be fast. Only got through half because we had already been there 1 1/2 hours for lunch and had to make a movie.
This will be the LAST time we'll go!! Avoid - too many decent restaurants close by!
Nothing about JP's Corners to recommend. Poorly conceived design. Massive room that feels cold and uninviting. Just want to finish the meal and go. Service was slow even though the place was empty. Food quality was not good. Waited 20 mins. for a hamburger that was sold as the restaurants, "top seller." A warm burger with 2 strips of bacon topped with grated, COLD cheddar cheese that I raked off on my plate. Seriously, an overall bad experience. Won't give this place a second chance.
Horrible service, horrible food, would not go back. Was giving this another try. Food selection was limited due to steaks that were marinated for hours. The baked potato was the bast think on the plate.
great service and great food. will go back. waitress was fantastic. made reservations for after graduation dinner for my daughter. everything was exceptional.

First time there. Food was great. Hostess and manager was nice. Service by server could've used improvement. I arrived at 4:30 right before the crowd got there. Took too long to get food order. I had to ask for more water. Didn't check in a timely manner. Waited too long for water & a to go box but he quickly came back for the payment.
I think they are over priced somewhat. Everyone was nice but the prices were high. I am unsure of how they pay out. I gave my card to waitress and she came back for me to sign, and I had one that was already cashed out, then another one for the tip to go in and to sign. I felt a little odd about it, so I went online to my bank account and before I even signed anything they already took that first amount out before I did a tip or anything. I've never see this, so I am waiting to make sure I don't get double charged.
Went for dinner on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately and our server (Vincent) couldn't have been better. Food was brought out in record time and everything was as ordered.
We find this to be a good place for lunch when we want something that is several cuts above the routine lunch spots. The food is good. We like the ambiance. It's a place we can talk without any excessive noise. The service has always been good as well.
I love the ftiendly waiters/waitresses but they seem to need more help. Service is slow and the last two trips by the time I got my food I needed it reheated.
The steak soup and the blackened shrimp and grits are awesome in taste and the meat is plentiful.
Previously this establish was another franchise. I did not realize it until I searched a place to take my mother for her birthday. When arrived, we were immediately greeted by the staff.
Our waitress, Nikki, was 100% perfect! Her sense of humor made the visit worth every penny.
My only concerned was the volume of the music as it seem to blare during quiet times in the conversations. Other than that, as long as Nikki is working, I will be a customer.

The restaurant is conveniently located at the mall and near the theatre. The service is prompt and the menu has a lot of variety for many different tastes.
I took a client to lunch and everyone was very happy with their selection. Staff very friendly and prompt. Will be back.
