Joule takes reservations for 2 hour time slots. We do our best to accommodate as many guests as we can so we ask to please be considerate of other diners at the end of your meal. If you feel that your party will require more time please let us know in the notes and we will get back to you as soon as possible with our available accommodations.
Delicious food an always an interesting offering on the menu. We enjoyed our dinner, especially the steelhead and the black sesame noodles.
We went for brunch and it was great! The dishes were super interesting and tasty, not your regular eggs and bacon brunch. The menu set up is excellent, where you get to choose one main from a menu and included is a tasty buffet as well. I also appreciated that they had a special menu that listed if each dish was GF, V, Veg, Nut free, etc.
This was worth every penny. My only request would be slightly larger tables for the two tops but I understand you work with the space you’ve got. Food, service, everything was fantastic and my husband had a nice birthday dinner.
Had a 3 hour dinner with friends on a weeknight. The small plates we had were mostly great (smoked tofu the surprising stand-out.) We also enjoyed the rice cakes, & eggplant. Don’t recommend the rib eye -an awful, inedible cut of meat. So tough we could barely cut or chew it.
Joule was great! One of the best meals I've ever had, and our server Alan was outstanding. He gave us so many good suggestions as out-of-town visitors.
Loved everything about Joule. The service was top notch and the food Was INCREDIBLE!!!!
The brunch buffet made it clear the chefs have pride in the food they prepare. Every part of it was delicious and unique. The main entree was almost a bonus after that buffet, but it was also perfect.
Food took a longer time than it should have 40 mins until first appetizers came out. Table next to us received a ton of attention as they were waited on very heavily with drinks, appetizers, water, etc. Felt neglected since we were VIP-type guests.
Loved it! Amazing server. Great variety of food and drinks. Love it.
This was our first time visiting Joule on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Seattle. Put this at the top of your food list, it is a taste sensation and blew our minds!! We had the Rice cakes (a must), they were so amazingly good we ended up ordering a second batch, one with the chorizo, another without chorizo and subbed it with mushrooms. If you have food sensitivities or preferences than what’s on their menu, they are more than happy to offer suggestions on how to modify. They even have a separate menu that lists what is gf,df, v, nut free, shellfish free. We also had the Shrimp Cocktail, Yellow Curried Beets (amazing), Potato Kimchee Lumpia (amazing), Radicchio Salad (fabulous) Chinese Broccoli, Kalbi Burger, Steelhead and the Ribeye. Sounds like a ton of food but they’re considered small plates and designed to share. They definitely didn’t feel that small and there was plenty to share with all 6 of us. We ordered desert which I didn’t try but everyone else really enjoyed it.
This place is in our top ten of places we’ve been to, which is saying a lot. Don’t second guess it, just go! You will not be disappointed.
Everything we enjoyed was exceptionally prepared and innovative, from the beets to the potato lumpia (table could've eaten several plates of that alone) which were very tasty and light we moved on to the staple spicy rice cakes (incredible bursts of flavor and not what you think of when you read rice cake - pleasantly surprised), the steak (all preps provide perfectly cooked, tender meat with flavor combos that truly rock your taste buds), steelhead that was so tender and delicate, desserts that surpassed the mark (Joule box was my favorite) and finally the drinks which were different and fantastic! Highly recommend this place, especially with friends so you can share more dishes! Service was spot on - knowledgeable, friendly and attentive - thanks Alan!
Amazing. Get the rice cakes!!! Brought out of town guest and we had amazing food in a lovely setting!
Delicious brunch, amazing service, and great ambiance. The team there took the time to accommodate an allergy in our party which we so appreciated. They went above and beyond! We will definitely be back!
The best brunch in Seattle, hands down, no question. We love it here!
So good!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful tender steaks with a tasty Korean twist. And the desserts are dank city
We just love Joule. The food is always creative and amazing. The service is personal. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Second time there and it did not disappoint. Excellent food with a unique flair. Everything was very fresh. We were a party of four and our server suggested family style which was perfect. It was the first time for the other three in my party and they all loved it. Would gladly come here again.
Three of us went for Sunday brunch and took advantage of the brunch buffet with entree for a bargain $20. A small additional charge for certain entrees in the 2-3 buck range. To be honest, I was looking for a more obvious ‘Korean cooking outside the lines’ (a line from Yang’s ‘My Rice Bowl’). But, Yang’s use of Korean elements, while subtle, really did speak up and say ‘Hey there’, trust me, you’re gonna like this’. From the buffet morsels to the entrees, the menu delivered a well-crafted, light-handed Korean influenced meal. I had the Sesame Waffle and Chicken Fried Steak. The only complaint I had - and this is true of every waffle I’ve had from iHop to Fat’s - the waffle arrives too cool for me. Butter wouldn’t melt if it were on the plate. At least I expected this. The chicken fried steak was delicious and crunchy with a moist interior, done perfectly medium rare. Another had the Coulette, eggs and cilantro chimichurri - beauty in every way. My other friend went for the Revel Breakfast (2 big slabs of bacon maybe sous vide?, eggs to order, and toast). She had only praise. On a side note, my friend really likes wine so she wanted a bold red for brunch. Our server admitted to not really knowing the wines as she mostly works brunch and wine isn’t a big request. Happy to report, our server gave my friend a taste of some wines before she chose. Class act on part of the server. We’ll be back for dinner soon. Absolutely.
We went for my husbands birthday. The servers were wonderful, even as we probably started to become the loud bunch with maybe one too many of their delicious drinks. The food was also amazing. Highly recommend.
Probably the best meal I've had in Seattle. Watch my stories on @AnastasiaMidas for the dishes we absolutely devoured within seconds. 1. Geoduck fried rice 2. Chinese Broccoli 3. Short Rib 4. Shrimp. Cocktails were delicious and the service was impeccable. I cannot wait to come back. Seriously get yourself over to Joule!
The food was incredible but the noise level was insanely loud. At one point my friend and I started laughing because we were yelling at each other from across a small two-top table. We definitely did not stay as long as we wanted because it was so loud. We went across the street to get another drink & continue our conversation. Missed opportunity for Joule!
Food was good and they accommodated us for my friend’s birthday but putting a candle in the dessert.
We had a fantastic meal at Joule. A flavoursome combination of dishes. Service was prompt.
Very unique restaurant with awesome vibe and interesting, creative bites. Our server was very professional and made great menu suggestions. The octopus was definitely a favorite! Great cocktails and small plates, we will certainly return the next time we are in Seattle!
The food was expertly prepared with some unusual and tasty innovations. A very pleasant meal and evening!
Great time. Sat at the counter and guessed what they were making. Much fun.
Creative delicious meal. The chef who cooked our steak was dialed in. So focused on turning out delicious steak after after steak that he didn’t hear me tell him what a fantastic job he was doing.
It was my birthday and I got to pick where we went. I chose Jewel, again. Great decision.
It had been awhile since I had eaten at Joule. Everything turned out exactly as I remembered: delicious interesting food, good service, and really great wine. I have always loved the space as well. I need to go back there more often!
It had been a while since I last had brunch at Joule. The food was still great, but I think the buffet selection was better in the past...? But, nonetheless it's a great place!
Best restaurant in Seattle for consistency, quality of food, and service.
Excellent and varied flavors in a shareable small plate format. Delicious!
Great food and great experience!
Excellent service and food.
The food was delicious. My personal favorites were the cauliflower, chorizo rice cakes and the prime steak. The cocktails were also very well made and balanced. I loved the smitten.
One of our favorite Seattle restaurants when we are in town!
Had a 1:30 reservation. Brunch is listed as stopping at 2:00 pm. By the time we got there, they had already stopped refilling to buffet menu. So we paid full price for a limited buffet. They should not charge us full price if they don't plan on refilling it after 1:30.
I understand this is to cut costs... But when customers are paying 30 dollars for brunch... You guys should not be skimping on the service....
Excellent food and service. Relaxed atmosphere and wonderful unrushed dinner.
We've had a very frustrating experience with the waiter arguing over the order, which completely ruined the occasion. Also the place is quite pretentious, but the food was not on par with our expectations. Will not recommend.
Fantastic, unpretentious food that has both style and substance. While it's on the spendier side of things, it's well worth it for the quality. Fantastic experience throughout, and the service was great.
Excellent all around!
their service was TERRIBLE. Only checked in us to constantly remind us to clear out the table by 1pm.
